This is an updated continuation based off a thread created by Decor (#17721), which you can find here.
This is a lengthy thread. CTRL + F is your friend. This is also a work in progress! Check below to see what I'm currently working on, and feel free to comment on it!
If there's one question that's constantly asked here, it's what's the "right" price to sell/stud a lion. The short answer: there is no right price. You can try to sell a lion for whatever price your little heart desires.
Long answer: If you want your lion to be sold quickly, while still gaining some amount of profit from it, you need a basic understanding of economics. If something is new, or there's not a lot of it, people want it. On the other end of the spectrum, if something is old, or there's a lot of it, people don't want it. Those are two key factors that determine the true market here, and I'm not talking about the trading center.
I've gathered every base, marking, mane, eye, nose, and mutation below to create a basic pricing guide for selling/studding a lion. Please note that these are not rule, just a helpful little push. Updates for the guide will happen on the first of every month, and whenever a new marking/base/mane/etc is released.

Key
Bold Italics = Very Rare
Bold= Rare
Italics = Uncommon
Regular font= Common
Rarity is determined by the amount of in game lions that have the marking/base/etc.
Bases
Bases are the base color of your lion. There are four categories: Wild, Custom, Event, and Breed Only. Any and all bases are breedable, so there's a chance you'll get those in cubs, thanks to the genetic system, but for the sake of simplicity I won't get into that.

Wild Bases
These are bases that can be gained from rollover kings or newly claimed lionesses (NCL's).
Albino, Caramel, Cedar, Cream, Cream Darker, Cream Lighter, Chocolate, Dark Golden, Deep Fawn, Dove Gray, Golden 1, Golden 2, Golden 3, Golden 4, Golden 5, Golden 6, Khaki, Lemon, Light Golden, Mongoose, Rosy Brown, Savannah, Sienna, Sundust, Sunflower, White.

Custom Bases
These bases are called custom bases because they are available through the oasis via a marking applicator or creating a custom lion. Wild bases are not counted, even though all wild bases are cutsom.
Almond, Auburn, Beige, Black, Bone, Brass, Brown, Chestnut, Copper, Dark Brown, Dark Fawn, Dark Vanilla, Deira, Dikela, Dun, Fallow, Fawn, Ginger, Gray, Hazelnut, Light Cream, Mahogany, Maltese, Onyx, Russet, Sandy, Silver, Silver Gray, Sunshine, Tawny, Vandal, Vanilla.

Event
Bases that are applied by event applicators.
Blush Rose, Hallowed, Ice, Inferno, Supernal, Unholy.

Breed Only
As the name suggests, these are bases you can get only by breeding.
Ashen, Cameo, Celestial, Cinnabar, Cocoa, Ebony, Fulvous, Kimanjano, Lilac, Maroon, Pearl, Prune, Sepia, Skyward, Slate, Udara.

Top three rarest bases
1. Kimanjano- 10 lions in game
2. Pearl- 162 lions in game
3. Skyward- 183 lions in game
Eyes
Eyes are categorized into two groups, Regular (wild) and Special.

Regular
Amber, Black, Blue, Brown, Crimson, Green, Grey, Jet, Olive, Pink, Sandy, Tan, White, Yellow.

Special
Emerald, Ice, Cognac, Crystal, Hazel, Starshine, Sapphire, Saffron, Sunglow, Seafoam, Sinoper, Red, Hetero Blue/Green, Hetero Green/Blue, Hetero Blue/Brown, Hetero Brown/Blue.

Top Three Rarest Eyes
1. Seafoam- 16 in game
2. Sandy- 220 lions in game
3. Sinoper- 235 in game
Manes
For the moment, I won't be dividing them into groups, since there aren't that many.
Scarce, Normal, Thick, Barbary, Heavy, Transvaal, Tsavo, Savage, Diabolic, Razor, Regal, Sideburn, Wavy, Katanga, Tufted.

Mane Color
Beige, Black, Brass, Brown, Caramel, Chestnut, Chocolate, Cocoa, Copper, Cream, Cream Lighter, Cream Darker, Dark Brown, Dark Fawn, Dark Golden, Deira, Dikela, Dove Gray, Fallow, Fawn, Fiery, Golden, Golden 2, Golden 3, Golden 4, Golden 5, Gray, Hallowed, Ice, Infernal, Khaki, Light Cream, Light Golden, Lilac, Mahogany, Maltese, Maroon, Onyx, Prune, Ruddy, Russet, Sandy, Sepia, Silver, Silver Gray, Slate, Sundust, Supernal, Unholy, Vandal, Vanilla, Walnut, White.
Noses
Apricot, Black, Blue, Brown, Burnt, Butterfly, Coral, Dark, Dark Brown, Dudley, Fallow, Gray, Marbled, Pink, Plain, Red, Sandy, Tan, White.
Markings
For simplicity, Markings are divided into 4 categories, just as bases are: Wild, Custom, Event, and Breed Only.

Wild
Markings that can be found on Lionesses while exploring. These do not included NCL Event markings.
Black Back, Black back hair, Black Chest, Black Cover, Black Gradient 1, Black Gradient 2, Black Low Flow, Black Mask, Black Tail, Brown Back, Brown Chest, Brown Cover, Brown Crumbing, Brown Face, Brown Gradient 1, Brown Gradient 2, Brown Mask, Brown Shroud, Brown Tail, Darken Brown, Classic Cream Front, Classic Half Front, Cream Belly, Cream Blaze, Cream Shimmer, Cream Strokes, Cream Half, Dark Brown Back, Dark Brown Chest, Dark Brown Cover, Dark Brown Crumbing, Dark Brown Mask, Dark Brown Shroud, Dark Brown Tail, Fallow Shroud, Fallow Shimmer, Gold Back, Gold Chest, Gold Shroud, Golden Crumbing, Golden Half, Golden Tail, Leg Stripes, Spotting Light,Under White 4,5,6, White Belly, White Blaze, White Cover, White Shimmer.

These do not include wild markings, even though all wild markings are customizable.

Current Edits

1/30
-I've finished going through the bases, marking which are Very Rare and Rare.
Note that rarity in this guide has nothing to do with the bases for sale on the trading center, in all honesty I'm avoiding that all together for reasons I'd be happy to explain. I get the numbers from the amount of lions (including studs) in the game that have said bases, so there'll be a few surprises. If you see any bases I'm missing, which I'm sure there's a few, please point them out!

-I've added some tables with color to break them up a bit and organize stuff. At the moment, it isn't the final color. I'll decide that once everything is all put together. I've also started marking which bases are Uncommon, anything left when I'm done is considered common.
-Markings up to custom are added. Labeling which are very rare, rare, etc, is going to take awhile. XD
- All I have left to add is the markings from this month's event, which I'll do in the morning.

This guide has helped me a great deal already, even though it only covers the rarity of bases and eyes so far! I had a cub with a Nacarat base, checked this guide and figured it was pretty rare since it wasn't even listed here. (I don't mean this sarcastically, I would have sold her for ~30SB if not for this guide)

Would you like some help trying to figure out what's rare? Two pairs of eyes are better than one. If you send me a PM outlining exactly how you search all of these and determine the rarity I could try to help out.

Also you are missing three of the markings my king has: Onyx Siamese, Onyx Panther, and Vitiligo 1. Decor has the Siamese listed under april markings and the other two under special "raffle".

They've yet to be updated. As you can see from the main post, the last time I took a crack as this was on 20/02/16 ... Before those manes, bases, and noses were introduced.
