Rainpaw | F | Apprentice Rainpaw stirred in her cosy nest of moss and bracken, a sudden feeling of warmth seeping into her pelt having woken her. Her cobalt eyes sleepily blinked open and her pupils narrowed into the sudden brightness. Golden sunlight spilled into the apprentices den from the entrance and over her nest, the sun having risen high enough to stretch across the ground and over her sleeping form. With a groan the mottled tabby stretched, her toes brushing one of the other apprentices. A few moments later she was staggering from the den and into the camp. Though the she-cat loved to sleep in she didn't want to miss out on any training- her goal to be one of the best warriors in the camp was still hot in her mind. Broad wings opened behind her back and stretched outwards, sunlight slanting between the white flight feathers and casting ribbons of shadow on the ground before her. Is Falconfeather awake yet? she wondered, casting a glance at the warriors den. Deciding to eat breakfast while waiting for him, she padded over to the fresh kill pile and chose a small brown furred vole. Eating other winged animals seemed odd to her so she rarely if ever ate birds unless it was leaf bare and options were limited. Skypool | M | Warrior | Mentions Aspenpaw Skypool padded into camp from the dawn patrol (that okay?) with a thrush bird between his jaws. The bird had flown right in front of his face and reflex had had his paw shoot out and swipe it from the air. The tom had been at once smug and surprised at the event. He dropped the bird on the fresh kill pile and waved his tail at Dapplecloud and Ashstar in greeting, with an affectionate meow to his daughter who was wolfing down a vole. The apprentices den was quiet when he stuck his head inside, the gentle breathing and sleepy forms of the apprentices making him long for his own nest. "Aspenpaw!" he hissed in a quiet voice. Jaggedtooth//camp site// Jagged took out of the warriors den and stretched his muscles and his wings stretched out as a black shadow, he saw his leader and gave a mrrow of amusement before stretching his back legs and heading to the fresh kill pile. He scanned the camp hopefully seeing some one come up to him. Neatly wrapping his tail around his paws he munched on a rabbit and purred in the sunlight. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It wasn't crowded with bodies, but sleeping cats with wings didn't make for the easiest sleeping positions. At least it kept them warm? Vixenthroat didn't truly mind the contact, it comforted her. It was the yowling, sniffling, and sounds her fellow Warriors made in their sleep that she minded. Yawning, Vixenthroat started across the clearing to the fresh skill pile. Her wings were tucked against her back, nestling on each side of her spine in the process. The sunlight stroked over her fur, revealing the muscles she had spent her years perfecting with her dad's help. Glancing at the meager pile of fresh fill made her remember that they should really send a hunting patrol out. Perhaps she'd ask to be on it... It was Newleaf, which meant the prey would be stirring and itching to get out. _____________________________________________________ Owlpaw | Male - Medicine Cat Apprentice | Location: Outside Med Cat Den | Mentioned: General Clan // Jump in! The apprentice was sorting through a small pile of herbs in order to take into account their inventory. A few of the herbs needed weren't easy to find over winter with the snow, but hopefully with Newleaf springing up they would be able to find extra and restock their supplies! Owlpaw arched his back and stretched, allowing his wings to extend to their full length before he folded and retracted them back into his body. They almost disappeared against the fur with how bland his coat was, but the young tom took little notice. He glanced over at the Camp's clearing, watching the cats interact as they went about their days. While Owlpaw himself wasn't keen on interacting with his previous denmates, he knew he had to meet them eventually. After transferring to a Medicine Cat Apprentice he learned he didn't like violence, and he surely couldn't hold a grudge if he would have to treat the cats in the future. Eaglepaw ll M ll apprentice --------------------------------------- Eaglepaw woke with a yawn to the early morning sun. He stretched and headed out of the den, careful not to wake the other apprentices. He wondered if Fallensky was awake so they could train. He really wanted to do some battle training. He constantly got pushed around as a kit and now was his time to get better. He saw a few cats around the camp, but no Fallensky. "He must still be asleep. Lazy furball," he whispered to himself. Vixenthroat | Female - Warrior | Location: Clan Camp |Mentions: Jaggedtooth + General Clan The she-cat glanced over her shoulder at the tom she had passed, pausing her motions to eye him. Conversation wasn't her strong point, but she knew it was a kind and logical offer. It would save food for the clan and also be a way to help 'bond' with her clanmates. A few fellow warriors said she needed to do that more often, so it couldn't hurt. Vixenthroat nodded her head, perking her ears as she slipped into the space beside Jaggedtooth.The shade released the heat building up on her wings and coat. She then settled herself a few inches away from his coat and wings, trying to give him space as she waited for a chance to bit into their shared meal. It truly was a fat rabbit, and hard to finish by one's self. After a few bites Vixenthroat would ease into the motions, relaxing as she flicked her tail tip and observed the camp around her. Her claws unsheathed and started working the soft ground below, her quick mind growing bored at having no current task to do. She could go visit her grandmother in the elders den but no doubt she'd be stuck listening to every tale the old she-cat had in stock for about the twentieth time. Her gaze flitted around the camp until it settled on Eaglepaw by the freshkill pile. The gray apprentice padded over to him with a mrrow of greeting. "Waiting for your mentor as well?" she guessed, and sat a tail length from the tom. "It really ought to be the other way around." Sunpaw :: Female The small she-cat awoke as narrow shafts of light sliced through the moss hanging up on the apprentice den. Narrowing her eyes to adjust to the sunlight, she slowly rose to her feet. It was a beautiful day outside, the songs of birds echoed through the air and the forest was full of prey. Wings tucked closely to her flank, she carefully stepped over a sleeping den mate. Sunpaw spotted her mentor by the freshkill pile as soon as she exited the crowded den. "Good morning Jaggedtooth." She yawned. "Are we doing anything cool today?" hopefully not hunting again. It's kinda boring. Well... I WOULD love catch a huge hawk! I heard Ashstar caught one once. She hadn't spoken to the medicine cat apprentice much after he left the nursery, save for when she'd gotten a thorn in her paw. But hisses of pain didn't exactly count as conversation. But then she thought of how lonely it must get in the medicine cat den sometimes and swallowed her awkwardness. "Sure." She headed over to Owlpaw, tail high in the air to signal cordialness. DuskSong unfolded his black wings, the sunlight making them shine almost purple. DuskSong and smiled and thought to his self 'I'm surprised my name's not PurpleWing!'. He looked around at the other cats and quickly folded his wings onto his back. DuskSong headed towards the Fresh Kill Pile, not making eye contact with any of his clanmates. DuskSong chose a skinny rabbit from the pile and ate it in the shadows of WingClan's camp. DuskSong glanced around nervously each bite of the rabbit, hoping nobody was watching him. Her gaze fell on her mentor, and she stood up. She gave her pelt a good shake, to dislodge any moss that might have stuck to her pelt before meeting Skypool at the entrance. "Sorry, I didn't mean to sleep in. I'll make up for it somehow." Normally the apprentice was ready to go before Skypool came to fetch her, but lately she had been working harder to perfect a battle move and it was starting to take its toll. "So what will we be working on today?" She questioned, lightly spreading her light grey wings. Rowanfang||Female||Warrior||27 Moons||Mentions: Rowanfang laid in the dark, watching the sleeping forms of her clanmates. Normally she would have gotten up to fetch a good piece of prey before a dying else had a chance to grab them, but she was feeling a little lazy today. Although it wouldn't keep her from going on a patrol, she decided to relax for a bit. Littlestride||Male||Warrior||18 Moons||Mentions: Like most days, LittleStride was wide awake at the crack of dawn.
