Lexa forced herself to push any bad thoughts about anything she had done wrong or any negative feelings. She moved to his side and laid down, resting her head and hand on his chest. She stayed there for a while and closed her eyes taking a deep breath. She knew she would be leaving before he even woke up, she had to find a way to make all of this work and run a whole clan.

------Time skip-------

Costia had been observing Leon closely ever since the battlefield. She had to make sure he commander stayed on track and kept going when his heart was broken. But lately he had seemed a little more spirit lifted and it was very off for him at times like this. She walked through the capitol halls and knocked on his door in the evening. She needed to get to the bottom of this.

Costia waited until she herd his voice and opened the door walking in. She closed it behind her and looked over to Leon. "What's going on Leon? Don't lie to me. You have been oddly uplifted." she asked her tone stern and unwavering. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked around the room for a moment.

Lexa he been walking in her room and getting ready. Once she was she walked over to the door and opened it and about had a heart attack to see Marcus right there. "What is it." She growled lowly caught off guard and she turned back and walked back into her room. She grabbed a small bowl of water and drank it as she leaned back onto the table and looked to Marcus.

Costia couldn't believe it. When he spoke she filled with rage and she shook her head. "Are you kidding me Leon. Not only did you break the rule of loving but now a child! It commander of the West clan Leon!! She will always choose her people over you! She left us to die! So now your just trusting her word which could be easily broken, as we found out. And yet now you are sneaking around. I thought you would have learned by now." she was yelling at first but then it lowered as she reached the end. She shook her head and watched him, he might yell at her yes but he needed his eyes to be open she swore she wouldn't let it all happen again.

Lexa looked at him and set the water down. "Did you really think I would stay away from the father of my unborn children or at least not tell him." she said honestly and she was surprised he hadn't figured out that much so farm she clasped her hands in front of her over the slowly growing bulge.

Costia took a few deep breaths to calm down and paced the length of the room. She threw her arms up and mumbled something to herself when he corrected her. She shook her head and stopped turning to face Leon. "Why Leon...?"/she asked and waited to hear his answer.

Lexa took a deep breath and watched him as he began his speech. "The fact that I retreated like that... are you kidding me!! I saved every single life in this clan from doing that and now I am wrong!?! There are no battles because of me, death rate has fallen and I am considered uneasy with them. What is it to them that I find a little comfort in someone around hear, I am carrying 2 of his children!" she took her steps towards him and stared him down. "Would you have taken the deal? You would even be able to take the pressure that came with that deal. He offered me more then once when he cut into my flesh and I said no every time because of Leon and then I put my people first." she said to Marcus her voice low.

Costia stood still and listened to his words as he spoke to her and tried to explain. She took a deep breath and looked to him. She tried to understand but she was done with digging him out of heartbreak. "I can't promise I will be there to dig you out of your next heartbreak." she said and turned walking out of the room.

Lexa looked at Marcus and shook her head. "That's where you would have broken the one rule I would have never done. Putting your people first. I out my people before allies and was offered to live in Pease with the cannibals. You do not understand how many ways I had to look at this offer from anyone's point of view. What if you lost that battle and people found out you turned down that offer and now you have no clan to save? I looked at every outcome and everything you can think of." She said. "So stop acting like I am the bad guy Marcus. For there are not even good guys to compare us to." she growled lowly. "I did what I had to."

Lexa leaned on the window seal and looked out into the night. She had been there for a little bit but not to long. She hadn't seen Leon yet and this wasn't planned so it would be a small surprise. Her mind spun lightly as she tried to keep sane, but she was beginning to lose it. The last 2 weeks had worn her down and she felt lower then a loner. She kept her back facing the doors and took a deep breath closing her eyes.

Lexa didn't turn her head when she herd Leon walk into the room. She didn't move or do anything, she didn't open her mouth but when he took a few steps towards her she took a step away and closed her eyes, a few tears down her cheeks. "Leon..." she said and tried to fight back the tears.

Lexa took more steps away from him as he reached out for her and tried to move closer. "Don't." she said between sobs not wanting him to come near her or touch her. "I don't know what's right or wrong anymore. I wish I had never one the conclave. I wish I never became commander." she sobbed not being able to hold back all her emotions anymore. She felt weak she felt low and she didn't know what to do.
