Coming back with his kill, he suggests they go back. The rain was starting to pick up. He weavers through the long grass, heading back to camp.

Quickstep follows him quickly, hauling her rabbit back with them. "Sho you want to tahk? It's a Nish walk back too camp." She meows around the rabbit.

Alderfall

He remembers what he wanted to ask, and Alderfall slows his walk.
"What are your thoughts on Cloudstar? I'm just curious."

"I don't know, she gets kinda grumpy somtimes, but she's a very strong leader" Quickstep meowed, "I like her, I think she's just grumpy because she has to deal with all the leader responsibilitys." . She quickened her pace as the rain started coming down harder.

Alderfall

"Yeah, I guess so."
They both make it back to camp as it starts to hail, and Alderfall goes in to the warrior den, sitting down and watching the ice chunks hit the ground.

Quickstep dropped off her rabbit in a covered spot ,so it would service the hail, and ran into the warrior's den. "Wow, It's realy pouring out out there." She meowed pulling some ice out of her pelt and licking any ruffled spots.

CloudStar

CloudStar, her ears flattened and the mouse still only half-eaten, tucked her head under her fuzzy gray-black tail. She sealed her golden eyes shut, silently afraid thunder would sound soon, or lightning would flash soon. She hissed silently hissed at herself, what kind of leader was scared of rain storms? ~Rain doesn't always bring thunder~ She thought, trying to convince herself that it was true

Alderfall

Alderfall gets up, deciding to do something crazy.
"I'll be back."
He goes out into the bad weather, heading towards Cloudstars den.
He could feel the hail punching into his pelt, and finally he reached the entrance, squeezing himself in.
He laughs. "Hi."

Quickstep nods as Aderfall heads out. "What a crazy tom" she mutters to herself, "I hope the hail hasn't nocked the cents out of him..." She grumbles. She sits by the entrance to the den watching the hail fall.

CloudStar

CloudStar looked at him, forcing her not to squeak out her words as she mewed "Hello, AlderFall" her voice was soft, all the harshness normally there gone while she stared out beyond him at the hail pounding on the ground. The normally harsh leader now looked like a frightened kit wishing for the safety of its mother, her tail over her nose and her claws dug into the ground

Alderall
Alderfall looks at Cloudstar, seeing her distress. Then he looks outside. "Ah, I see."
He scoots a bit closer to her. "It's not going to hurt you. You're safe in here."
He pauses. "You're a brave leader. Leaders would be considered cowards to say they aren't afraid of anything."
Alderfall gives her a warm smile, even though she might not be looking at him.

CloudStar stiffened when he said that it wouldn't hurt her "I know it won't hurt me. I ain't a kit" she whispered, glancing at him for only a moment before looking back outside "there's just.....always been something about storms that has frightened me. I....act harsh so no one knows how much of a coward I really am" she mewed, silently staring out of the den, though her gaze was distant and not focused on the hail

Quickstep flinched as lightning flashed across the sky. She hissed at the sting of her eyes. The rain picked up then and started pouring down along with the hail.
