Sometimes in real life big cats will spare the life of animals, and I believe there are a lot of bad kings because bad kings get more food and items than good. I've heard people in chat claim to want to be good, but due to evil giving off more rewards they turned their kings bad. So I think that if good kings spare the lives on animals, they'll rarely get a decoration, like a baby kob or zebra or lion or whatever encounters may occur.
