Back when search by personality was introduced in trades, I had an idea: wouldn't it be convenient to search lions by their heritage? We could have this option in the search page, in the trading center, or both. We could have a new field in the search page that would let us limit the generation of the lions shown in the search - like the stat one works - and then another two empty fields where we could write the name or ID of a lion , and the option to either "seek only lions with x in their heritage" or "avoid lions with x in their heritage" for our search. That way, we could search 1st generation lions - rolled males, NCLs, groupies... -, limit the searches to a particular lion's line - useful to track down frozen lionesses' cubs and their offspring - or avoid a particular lion's line easier for those interested. Suggested by BlueStar (Reindeer) (#2477): Have the option to search inbred lions or not. What do you think? Feedback is greatly appreciated! |

We definitely need this. As a member of Hard Mode, finding lionesses who fit the rules is can be difficult. And I also don't like having a really long linage on some of my girls, so it would be really be helpful in finding lions with shorter lineages. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hmm. Maybe I could add some sort of generational limit for another search field? As in, "show me lions that are 2nd, 3rd or 4th gen at most"? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support! x infinity lol This is an excellent idea. A simple button that works like the "in heat" button but says "heritageless" would be the easiest to implement but being able to search for specific stud/lioness/max gens in for sale lions would be a blessing for everyone as well. 0 players like this post! I'd like an option to exclude some lions lol, nothing personal but when I see a repeated lion in everyone's heritage, I generally would like to stay away from that lion. Idk y. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Dr. Grinch So... A kind of dropdown menu, like the markings one, to narrow down the search to lions of 'x' generation, and then another field to include/exclude lions in particular? @Gacheru Uh. @Berenos Yes that's it. Because I don't see just one option fitting everyone's needs for this. Some would be satisfied for just searching for "x" generation lions, while others would want an option to search with/without specific lions as well. 0 players like this post! Like? |
