"You don't have to be sorry." Mizuki frowned, sitting up on the bed. Her front was still covered by her blankets and sheets, and she pulled them closer around her, either to keep warm or to hide herself. Her optics widened as he choked up, pupils constricting against the light of the room. "Ren-- wait!" Mizuki called after him, but not before the male had disappeared into the bathroom. She sighed softly, pulling her legs into a crisscross position on her bed. 'Idiot,' she thought, 'why am I so stupid?'

When he came back out, Mizuki didn't look up. Her chin rested on her balled up fists, and she seemed to be staring off into space, lost in thought. In all actuality, though, Mizuki was very aware. "Okay." She sighed softly, finally shifting her gaze to Ren. "You don't need to be sorry, though. I understand, really." The female pushed her fluffy flag of a tail out of her way before flopping backwards, laying back suddenly onto her bed, the blankets still covering her almost completely.

'Tch' He chuckled softly and soon enough fell asleep by the soft and even rhythm of his breath. Appendage twitching he shifted slightly, nuzzling into the pillow and curling slightly. Soft raspy coughs emit from Ren every few moments- often dry. Though his attempt to sleep failed do to feeling quite uncomfortable he remain still, hues closed as thoughts jumbled through his mind. Grumbling he turned slightly and wheezed, lobes flattening. 'What school did you go to before here? You've got to be pretty advanced to be here so obviously a good one right?'

Curiosity settled in his mind coldly and he warily stared at the roof now, crossing his arms and chuckling a bit. 'Or did they get tired of you?' He cautiously joked, eyeing the female every few moments for a response, his expression somewhat calm yet cautious.

Mizuki snorted quietly in amusement. Resting back against her pillow, arms crossed behind her head, she moved to look at him. "Oh, trust me, they weren't tired of me. And I wouldn't say I'm advanced... I'm surprised I was accepted here." She chuckled softly herself. "I went to school across the country, at a place called McManus Academy. I didn't expect to get in when I requested to transfer here. But, I did, and here I am!" She snorted again, nose crinkling slightly as she did.

Remembering how late it was, Mizuki frowned slightly. "I really should be getting to sleep, though. You should too, you know, since we have to get up early tomorrow. I don't want to be super tired on my first day, do I?" She asked, brow furrowing half with amusement and half with concern. Sure, Mizuki was having a lot of fun talking to Ren, but she had to remember her grades too. What would her father say if he knew she was up that late? Mizuki imagined his disappointed face, his deep voice, 'Now, young lady...' The image her mind created of him was so spot-on, Mizuki actually laughed aloud.

Mizuki snorted her amusement once more, turning to stare at the ceiling. "Well," she laughed softly, "I guess I've made my first friend, then." As Mizuki listened to him talk, she felt a small smile creep across her muzzle. Below the covers, her bushy tail began to quiver slightly, wagging. The female had to grab onto it to make it stop. "Really? I mean, I know it's a good school, but I didn't think it was so rare to be accepted." Mizuki's eyes widened slightly, and her smile broadened. When Ren said he was glad to have met her, Mizuki felt her tail move again and begin to wag, but once more she stopped it quickly. 'Stupid tail,' she thought, nearly growling aloud. "Thanks." She chuckled, blinking slowly. It was almost like a dream to the female. She was finally at the school she wanted to be at, and she had already made a bit of a friend. With that dreamlike feeling falling over her and wrapping around her like a security blanket, Mizuki quickly fell asleep.

Ren remain in slumber, shifting every few moments, small grunts emitting from him. Form twitching, he curled himself and sneezed, appendage lashing.

(I am so sorry I took so long ^^; I've been busy working on my art, my avatar probably shows how much I've improved XD and sorry, I didn't have many ideas to write into this)

Mizuki awoke with a start the next morning, flying up into a sitting position on her bed surprisingly quickly. The female was shivering slightly, not from cold, but from the adrenaline pumping through here veins, caused by the fear from a nightmare she had been having. In her dream, Mizuki was in class, but somehow, everyone in her class had found out she was a girl. It was similar to a dream one might have of being at school naked, or in just their underwear, as if everyone was staring at her. She was ridiculed, called many names, and worst of all, she was kicked out of the school. The part that finally woke her up was her father's disappointed face, and her mother in tears, ashamed that her daughter had pretended to be a boy. When she awoke, the female's breath was coming in short, quick gasps, and she was shaking.

It was only 6:30, and class started at 7:45, so she decided she might as well get up then. Mizuki rose as quietly as she could, hoping she hadn't already woken Ren, and tip-toed to the bathroom. There she changed into her uniform, remembering to put on her chest wrap that hid anything, and brushed the fur on her head and tail. The female was ready to go to class by 7:00, and she moved quietly back into the dorm room, wondering if Ren was yet awake. 'I hope I didn't stay in there for too long...' She thought urgently, plopping down on her bed to organize her bag, putting everything she would need for the day within it.

Ren groaned softly and slowly pushed himself up and stood, stretching. Hues narrowing he grabbing his clothes, completely ignoring the presence of Mizuki and walked into the bathroom. Shutting and locking the door, Ren dressed himself and did what was needed before staring dully at himself. Coughing, he exited the bathroom, grabbing a black book-bag and filling it with items. 'Sleep well?' His voice was completely emotionless as he spoke, nothing showing within his golden hues. Grabbing his scarf he wrapped it around his neck and began to walk to the door of the dorm.

'Don't be late to your classes.' He spoke quietly as unease washed over him. Fear pulsed in his mind and he immediately opened the door. The fear worsened as his chest tightened and he began to walk out of the dorm. What were he to do if he had lost the only somewhat friend he'd achieved. By now wheezing, Ren immediately quickened his pace and lowered his head.

"I did." Mizuki smiled softly at Ren, her tail wagging ever so slightly when she blinked brightly up at him. "Though I did have some... odd dreams." She chuckled uneasily, rising to her feet after him. Mizuki watched in silence as he hurried out the door, flicking one ear and frowning. 'I wonder what's wrong?' She sighed aloud, though quietly, and followed more slowly. Walking out into the hall, the female glanced around, already somewhat confused. Sure, she had memorized her class schedule and the location of each class, but her nervousness made her forget almost anything.

"You lost, newbie?" Mizuki whirled around, nearly running into the serval she had spoken to the night before. "A bit, yeah..." She chuckled slightly, blinking up at the tall male. He gave her directions to her first class, grinning the whole time he did. "Thank you, again." She laughed, hurrying off in the direction he had told her to go. 'I hope I won't be late, now!' Mizuki thought, having to jog to make sure she would get there on time. She didn't want to be late to class on her first day, of course.

Ren walked to his class and immediately sat, staring forward lifelessly. Grunting, He eyed those around, lobes flicking as he earned a few heated glares from other students. Chuckling, He leaned back and closed his hues, crossing his arms, nails flexing against the coat of his uniform. 'You came for once.' A strict voice rang out behind him causing Ren to flinch and narrowly open his hues. 'I come every day.' Giving a cocky reply to the one behind him he straightened himself.Appendage lashing, Ren coughed and pulled a book from his bag, groaning softly as the cover to it was slightly ripped.
