yeah I personally agree with FraidyCat, I give the February event a pass because, well, it's a Valentines event and it's moreso "oh those crazy animals!!!", but I could do without, the, uhh... over-sexualization of lionesses (???) 365 days a year

It's not something I'd quit over, but I agree that it makes the game teeter more towards questionable territory, like they said. Of course, like the others have said, it would never happen because the game is strictly 16+ so no actual naughtiness allowed, but it might give outsiders a bad view of Lioden

I know it probably sounds pretty absurd and ridiculous, but "Lioden? isn't that game a beastiality sim??" is a very possible thing for people to think :x You'd be surprised. It's actually a pretty valid concern

Well, I support, however I do understand where everyone's coming from.

Perhaps there could be some middle ground or something? I dunno if it's possible in regards to coding, but it'd be really cool if we had the option to turn off specific poses via our settings. For example, if I didn't want to see the Snarky pose in other users dens or anywhere on the site, then I could turn it off.

EDIT: Saw others suggested this. It's a really good idea that I believe has the most potential out of everything so far suggested to please the largest outcome of people.

Or it could be an option to buy in the Oasis, so that people who aren't comfortable with the pose wouldn't have to have it suddenly appear in their den every time their lionesses are in heat. Though, that doesn't stop it from appearing in other users dens. :')

Another idea, is maybe changing the in heat pose to like a flirty wink or something?

A bestiality sim? I.... what? o_O This game doesn't even involve people at all, other than NPCs... it's a lion game. And I can't even properly combat that statement because I know that if I do, I'd be censored or something. Even though the game is for older players, there is a strict line about what is just too far. Even the 18+ forum is censored, and obviously, that's for adults. I mean I understand if someone would be uncomfortable with something, but this game is far from that.
I mean, to each their own. If the pose would make you uncomfortable for any reason, that's fine. But I would still expect a sense of maturity about it, you know? I mean, this game is for older people, and all of us have gone through sex ed probably at least 2 times each.
What I don't get is that you guys are worried about the way other people would see the game... but.. do you really expect that pose (which is actually just a lioness stretching, NOT a "let's do the do" pose) to be seen as something "oversexualized"? That one little pose isn't going to represent the game as a whole, and having a heat pose isn't going to steer the entire game into the wrong direction.

I don't know, I'm not sitting here asking for lions on this game to act like lions in the real world do. But if you research lions or watch documentaries about them, you'll eventually come across their real world behavior when a lioness is in heat. Males will fight for her, and stalk her for days until she allows them to mate her. And then, the two will mate every thirty minutes to ensure a pregnancy. If anyone is oversexualizing the lionesses, it's them, not us. xD

In the end, this is a pose. It's just art. It's optional. Nobody is forcing it on anybody. It's not like asking for a pose for a lioness who is in heat is unfair or unnatural or anything; we have poses for pregnancy and other neutral/everyday poses. I mean, in the pregnancy pose you can even see the lioness's nipples/teats. I don't see why this would make the game any worse when it is a lot more innocent than even the pregnancy pose, even if I do say so myself. Even if I don't really understand the concern, I mean, your opinion is your opinion. And if you wouldn't like the pose then I guess it's good that it'll be optional :)

... Yes. You and I clearly both know that, but I'm saying outsiders might not, and a lot of people don't really tend to research things very thoroughly when they make assumptions.

Except that it is, because it's tied to a lioness being in heat

If it's "just a lioness stretching", make it a general pose we can buy from the oasis or get from an event instead of making it ONLY for lionesses in heat, because that makes it suggest something far, far different than "just stretching".
