The dark furred dog watches from the darkness as humans and their lights flashed by. Sometimes another dog on a rope would pass, growling at her. She growled back. The female turned to look back at her half finished dinner, old human food, she hardly ever got the opportunity to hunt or change to her other form. Humans would kill her. Soon she got bored, and poked her head out of the alley, then set off towards the forest she had sometimes been to with her mother. Well, her adopted mother.

(not funny, just chaotic to the point where it is, i think)

Nikolas, in calm, scary silence, paced around, close to some trees, from a nearby forest (aka the one shadow's heading towards) thinking to himself. He'd already doomed a few souls to eternal suffering in hell, and collected more of them today, and he wondered what to do, now. As Satan himself, nobody could tell him what to, at least, they wouldn't get away with it, and honestly, that was annoying sometimes, when he ran out of ideas. Nik eventually stopped, and growled softly, deciding to simply torture some more mortals. That was always good fun. He set off, rather determinedly, towards civilization.

She travelled silently, hardly anything noticed her. She suited her name. She was like a Shadow. As she left the town, and got onto the open land, she notices a tall figure, a human.. Almost. Since the dog wasn't ordinary, she could tell he wasn't either. The human looked dangerous, but she felt it wouldn't mind if he saw her dragon. Better safe than sorry, though, she thought. She continued towards him, making sure she could be seen if he wanted to challenge her. She was bored.

(btw is it ok if she can get into peoples heads and talk to them like that, but she's not very good at it yet, since she's so young? Or as a dragon, speak a little bit, but just in growls and be very hard to understand? (as a dog she wouldn't be able to though)

Nikolas abruptly stopped, and turned his head towards a dark, apparently canine creature, which appeared to be following, or approaching him. He narrowed his eyes, in a glare, at the creature? almost daring it to get closer. Of course, since he was literally satan, he'd probably be more than okay with "getting rid" of the dog, if needed.

(sure that works. when nik actually likes shadow eventually he could even like, boost her powers, including the telepathy ;0)

Shadow watched at the figure stopped and glared at her. She met his eyes with her icy blue ones and showed her teeth a little. Pushing her ears back, she stepped forward, not breaking eye-contact. The dog prepared herself to shift, just in case he did threaten her further.

Nik could tell, that this dog either wasn't normal, or just, rabid, or something. And to be honest, he couldn't care less. He simply glared at it for a bit longer, before abruptly, walking off again, of course pausing to give the dog a quite rude gesture, though.

The dog growled at the figure, louder this time. She quickly glanced around, making sure nothing could see them, then shifted silently into a dragon. She shoved his shoulder with her nose, then realised her mistake, and quickly shifts back into a dog. She sits behind him, glaring up at his head, waiting for him to turn around.

Lezabel watched cautiously from the shadows, at last she was free into the world again. She decided that at some point she had to talk to Nik, but she hadn't summed up the courage yet. Seeing as he had banished her to the depths of hell a few hundred years ago. She watched curiously as he looked strongly at something in the shadows. All Lezabel could see was a pair of eyes reflecting the moonlight. She gasped silently, taking a small step forward. Not seeing the branch about knee hight. She fell, smashing into the floor, rolling right into the back of Nik.

Nikolas snarled, at first, just mad at the dog, which he was sure was not, in fact, a normal dog, then at Lezabel, too, his red eyes appearing to glow with apparent fury. He barely stumbled when both of them, the dog/dragon thing shoving him, and Lezabel doing something similar. "You. You better watch yourself, you're just starting to get back on my good side." He growled to the girl, roughing picking her up by her wrist, and shoving her a few feet away. "And you, you watch yourself, mongrel." He added, glaring at the dog.

She snarls, actually trying to be vicious this time. She shifts into her dragon, and arches her neck so she can look him in the eye. She tries her best to get into his head, she hadn't done it in a while. 'I... Am... Not a.. Mongrel' she growls into his mind, looking straight into his eyes, not caring what he could do.

Lezabel rubbed her wrist angrily, she was tempted to blast him, but he had just commented on how he was o her good side now. Instead Lezabel just kicked the dust at her feet, she couldn't seem to take her eyes of the large black dog that sat looking up expectantly at Nik. She was sure she had seen something else in it's place for a moment. She decided to keep her moth shut for now.

Nikolas shook his head slightly. The devil, in his opinion, really shouldn't have to deal with things such as this, so often. He had much better things he could be doing, honestly. He growled at the creature before him, baring his incredibly sharp, animal-like teeth in return. "You look like a mongrel to me." He responded simply, his tone one of cold fury. He glanced towards Lezabel, expecting her to follow, as he turned, and startled walking again.

Shadow

She hisses and turns from him, whacking him over the head with her tail in the process. She glared back at him once more, then beat her wings and flew above the trees. The humans from the city wouldn't be able to see her against the dark sky, she was sure. She flew swiftly over the trees, but spotted a rabbit in a small clearing. She dropped onto it with her claws outstretched, breaking it's back easily. She shifts and begins her meal, it was so much more satisfying than human junk. Maybe she could hunt the devil later on.

Lezabel watched in awe as the dragon swooped over the trees, it's body barely visible against the dark sky. Nik growled and walked off, taking one last glance at the dragon... Or dog Lezabel scurried after Nik hoping he wouldn't and send her back
