Being on a ship really did take a lot out of someone. Having nowhere to go, just waiting to arrive... Alex was having a case of cabin fever starting up. Thankfully, the ship was at dock, but he needed to tend to his team, for now. They were not used to being in pokeballs for more than a day or so, and Alexander could only release most of his team outside, due to their size. He had most on a day-long rotation: Tiny, Tiz, Dig, Priest. Azreth and Majora were easy to have trailing behind him, and for most of the trip the Clefable was always hot on his heels. Azreth... seemed to get seasick, spending all the time hidden in her keystone. Alex put her back into her ball to give her rest early on the ride.

He sent out Tiny, the Aerodactyl blinking owlishly as she took her bearings, then stretched upwards with a mighty cry. She immediately took to the sky, flying a few circles above Alex before landing again, moving to butt her head on the man who was resting on some crates behind her.

He usually hated boat rides, but thsi time, the ship was big enough that it didn't make the hellish rocking Keith was familiar with. In essence: it was slow, but alright. The ship was huge inside, and he was content to jog around for a few days, Tinks trailing behind him, valiantly trying to catch up. Now, he had a whole new region.

"Never really been to Hoenn before. Pretty warm, huh?" He said, looking up as Tiny did a few circles above.

Being friends with a champion had its uses, he guessed. When the Aerodactyl started to bother him for pets, he scratched in between her blunt horns, then petted her tongue when she opened her mouth.

"...Tinks is pretty strong; you think the Leaders might use their strong teams on me? Maybe I should get a new member, too. I don't want her doing all the work of taking down someone's team," he was mostly just being rhetorical. It was a while since he started, and he really couldn't find another member. In his opinion, it was probably unlikely he was going to get someone new.

Samir was excited to finally get off the ship. The days he spent in the ship, as few as they were, seemed to pass in slow motion as he thought of landing in Hoenn. Samir had visited the region once before-his parents had come to study the Vulpix that lived on Mt.Pyre. But this time Samir was here of his own accord. The two pokemon he had out with him at the time-Plume and Dil-were also obviously excited: Dil chirped noisily as he jumped around on Samir’s head, tousling up his already messy hair. However Plume was the most obviously excited- the Growlithe practically sprinted off the gangway and was now laying out in the middle of the docks soaking in the sun, tongue lolling out.

Despite Plume being a pretty calm pokemon he was still a fire type and hated being out in the open ocean. It was pretty understandable though, it was probably pretty scary being a fire type surrounded by water. He took his time walking up to Plume, and noticed he wasn't the first to leave the ship- two trainers stood near each other on the docs, one patting a an Aerodactyl. The first one he’d ever seen, in fact. He got the feeling that the single pokemon was much more powerful than all of his combined, and felt slightly unnerved. He suddenly realized he had been staring and shook his head, slightly embarrased. He instead concentrated on Plume who was still soaking in the sun. He kneeled and scratched the growlithe behind the ear, earning a happy grumble and a small puff of smoke from him. Samir chuckled.

“Suppose I should let everyone else out, yeah?” He said, and Plume let another grumble in response whilst Dil let out a cacophony of happy chirps from above. He pulled the remaining two pokeballs off his belt and released Clarine, who did a few happy twirls in the air before hovering next to him. Then after a moment of thought, Muma too. Despite her troublemaking habits he felt she deserved to see Hoenn for the first time too. “Welcome to Hoenn, guys.”

Bailey nervously stood on the dock, unsure of where exactly to go next. She was finally here, in Hoenn, able to start her own Pokemon adventure.... but what was the first thing that she should do?

Blue nosed her hand, and she absentmindedly began to pet the Luxio. She glanced around the docks, noticing other trainers with their Pokemon out as well, so at least she wouldn't stand out in that regard. There was an Aerodactyl that looked fairly intimidating, and another trainer with his own entourage of Pokemon.

Was that... it was! Unable to control herself, Bailey ran up to a trainer with dark skin and blond hair. "Hi! Is that your Growlithe? It's super cute! Would you mind if I petted it?" Blue followed at a slower pace, making grumbling cat noises at his trainer before sitting at her side.

Samir was taken by surprise when another trainer bursting with excitement suddenly appeared with a less excited looking Luxio trailing behind, asking to pet Plume. Huh, oh Plume? Uh, feel free too. He doesn't mind." As if on cue Plume, sensing the opportunity for more pets, made a slight effort to drag himself closer to the new trainer. Clarine circled the newcomers twice, then having judged them as alright, came to rest beside the Luxio. Dil, however stayed atop Samir's head, unsure of the newcomers. "I'm Samir, by the way." Samir quickly realized that he knew where everyone but Muma was, and hadn't seen the pokemon since he let her out of her ball. He nervously looked around, seeing no sign of her. "Hey, you wouldn't have happened to see a Misdreavus, would you?"

Aria was sitting on a table just outside the enclosed dock, silently sipping on a frozen coffee and planning her next expedition. Being a Hoenn native, the young Historian wasn't getting off some ship like the crowds of Trainers passing her from within the large building housing the dock. Hell, with Pyrus, it took mere seconds to move between places! She chuckled at that thought, eyeing down the new Pokemon. Her eyes fell on an Aerodactyl, noticing the necklace. Hmm... Another Pokemon who can Mega Evolve? Cool. Aria thought, unlatching three of the five Pokeballs on her belt. After what happened when her cousin's possession of Reshiram went public, she along with the Reshiram died for that grave mistake, so it'd be best to not summon Pyrus. In addition, Sky was a Lapras and would not enjoy scraping her shell along the cement to move around, and Mania... Her name should have said enough about her nature.

The three Pokeballs exploded in a flash of light, sending out a Bronzong, Blaziken, and Excadrill, leaving the hollow spheres on the table. Blitz, the Blaziken, stretched with a yawn, crossing his arms and staring at many of the new Pokemon with a challenging glare. Kyoto, the Bronzing, just let out a metallic sigh, looking quite disappointed in the competitive Blaziken. "If Blitz gets you stuck in a battle, I'm sorry." The floating bell stated to Aria using telepathy. "Whatever. It's been a while since I've had a good battle, I guess. Nothing's brought me to my last Pokemon. I could always try my hand at the gym challenge, but so much exploring, so little time." She chuckled, glancing over at her wandering Excadrill. Driller, the Excadrill, had finally settled under the shade of a lone tree, glaring at anyone who wandered too close.

"She's what, around level 40? I think they'd pull out the stronger ones. Maybe getting another one or two pokemon might help? I needed Majo- Tiny!" Alexander cut himself off.

Tiny, content with getting her head scratched, moved so Keith couth scratch between her wings. She was getting a look at the other pokemon, eyes darting to see if there was something she could whet her appetite on. She met a Blaziken's glance with a look of her own, rising up from her crouched position.

Though, what made Alex stop was when Tiny stretched her wings up, leaping forwards and giving the characteristic cry of her species, a clear challenge. The champion was quick to go up to his pokemon, grabbing the collar around her neck with both hands in an attempt to wind her down.

Keith decided to stay away as Tiny decided to be a little prick. What a competitive little girl; though she'd probably have to be if she was owned by a league champion. Tinks looked a little worried, floating in front of Keith after the pokemon, but stopping short, not really wanting to be in the Aerodactyl's warpath if she did indeed decide to start a fight.

Keith looked over, seeing if anyone else was out of the boat yet. There was a little fire dog and... a bird caught his attention, making him stand up and start walking to the group of two. "Heyo! What's that lil bird? " he called out as he got close enough, looking at Samir while he leaned down so he could give the growlithe a pat on the head. It seemed safe- the other person was petting it before.

Blitz let out a characteristic-Blaziken chuckle, staring at the Aerodactyl with a challenging stare. Kyoto turned her sights to the Aerodactyl and her Trainer. "That Aerodactyl looks strong. Some of these Trainers, although most of them look very new, look like the opposite of the spectrum. These ones could wipe out all five of us, and I know you don't like using him in battle." The bell chimed to her Trainer. Aria sighed. "He doesn't get much training, remember that. It's wouldn't be too bad if I had to summon him for battle, unless it was with some Aqua or Magma goons, or if the battle was televised."

The other trainer seemed surprised when she spoke to him. "Huh, oh Plume? Uh, feel free too. He doesn't mind." Bailey let out a delighted squeal and began to pet the Growlithe.

"Plume! That's such a cute nickname," she said. "I'd love to catch a Growlithe some day. This is my Luxio, Blue, and I'm Bailey. Nice to meet you, Samir." Blue seemed distracted by the Togekiss, leaning forward curiously to sniff it. "And no, I haven't seen a Misdreavus. Did you lose one? I could help you look."

Another trainer approached, startling both Bailey and Blue, who growled and stood protectively in front of his trainer. "Hush, Blue, you stop that. Don't be rude."

Samir grimaced when Bailey said she hadn't seen Muma. Knowing the Misdreavus she had probably already found some trainer to harass. "Yeah, i guess so...she's gotten pretty good at losing me. Thanks for the help." Samir sighed. He should've known this would happen. He was about to set off and try to find her when another trainer approached- the one from before with the Aerodactyl he realized-and patted Plume on the head, asking about Dil.

The Archen tightened his grip on Samir's head and hunkered down, wary of the new person's attention. "Him?' He said, pointing a finger at Dil. "He's Dil, but I gotta go- one of my pokemon's missing." Samir took off, with Clarine following mere seconds later. Plume however stayed where he was, expecting the other trainers to give him more attention & giving them an eager look. Soon after he ran off Samir realized that he'd been a tad rude, but he needed to find Muma first and stop any upcoming mischief, and then deal with apologies.

Unfortunately for Samir, however, Muma had already chosen her unfortunate target. A trainer who was sipping on an iced coffee, and possibly her bronzong ,too if Muma was lucky. The Misdreavus smiled impishly and floated as discreetly as she could beneath the table the trainer was at. Then she slowly began to rise and phase through it, wailing as horribly as she could.

Her gaze turned from the Aerodactyl to where the Misdreavus was wailing at the center of the table. Like her Bronzong, Aria did not look amused or scared in the slightest. "... Good try, little Misdreavus." She sighed with a small chuckle. "Little Misdreavus, we've seen nearly everything. Although, it would be much appreciated if you'd quiet down." Kyoto responded, staring at the little Ghost-Type Pokemon.

Neptune let out a sigh of relief as he stepped off the ship. It had been a long trip, leaving him stiff and tired. Probably in a few he would get back up to pace, but for right now he needed to focus on what to do next. He knew that his pokemon would want to be out of their pokeballs right now, but he worried about the weight of the dock. Taking out a pokeball, he let out his Leafeon, petting it among the head as it rubbed against his leg. To his surprise, this was the only pokemon that he had that didn't weigh over 200 pounds, looking over to the other pokemon on the dock. Yeah, it would've been a dock underwater if I let all my pokemon out.

(Kind of rushed I have a small important thing to do, sorry!)

Tiny let out a mighty breath through her nose, clearly itching to put a Stone Edge into that Blaziken's face, if not for her trainer protesting and tugging at her collar. "Yiny! Come on, you're better than that!" Alexander muttered through his teeth.

Tiny was pretty much stronger than him, though, so he knew the Aerodactyl was at least listening to him when he said to hold back. Tiny took a step forwards, craning her neck to sniff the Blaziken, trying to see if it would attack if she got too close. A hit to her nose would be enough of a reason to have Alex let go of her so she could properly thump the other pokemon.

Keith jerked his hand away the moment the Luxio growled at him. Maybe he misjudged it? Either way, he wasn't getting bit anytime soon. Tinks, though, floating closer to his hand, hovering over it and keeping herself between the pokemon and Keith himself, trying to look at threatening as a tiny keyring could.

Well, knowing the pokemon's name didn't help. Maybe he'd ask Alex. He was a paleontologist, right? A blue and yellow bird that looked weird. He sighed as the trainer ran off. Well, a pokemon missing would be important, though, he didn't blame them. It must be hard managing more than one...

The other trainer was still here, the Luxio's owner. "Is he really safe to pet...?" He asked.

Blitz just continued to stare, watching Tiny's every move. If the fossil Pokemon had any inkling to attack, he would retaliate. "Blitz, if you get into a fight, I will personally kill you." Kyoto, the Bronzing, growled through a deep and ominous chime. Whatever. A good fight is a good fight. The flaming bird retorted, turning his glance from the other Pokemon to the bell. "If you get your ass kicked, don't blame us." She sighed, floating to the other side of the table. Aria's attention was still focused on the Misdreavus trying to cause trouble.

Muma was caught off guard when the trainer and her Pokemon were unbothered by her attempts to scare them. She stopped wailing, More so from surprise than the bronzongs command, and pouted at them angrily, before sticking out her tongue and floating off. Clarine had been hot on the Misdreavus' tail though, and caught up to the Pokemon before she could escape and find another person to harass. With a smug look on her face she clutched at the misdreavus' necklace and called for Samir, who showed up panting. He returned the disgruntled ghost type to her pokeball, and tried to straighten himself up. "Sorry about that, hope she didn't bother you too much."

She looked up at the trainer from her position sitting on a chair. "No worries, I've seen worse." She chuckled, "The only thing I'm really concerned about is my Blaziken over there... I think he's trying to pick a fight with that Aerodactyl over there, according to Kyoto here." Aria sighed, glancing back at her starter. While this was going on, Blitz had stood up taller, trying to look much more intimidating to the smaller-than-usual Aerodactyl.
