His gaze follows hers towards the river. Crouching down once more he puts all his concentration towards studying the shadows as well as keeping his eyes out for any bubbles. Sometimes the shadows weren't fish after all. Sweeping his tail over his back paws he waits patiently for his next opportunity.

She gazed at the shadows below the water wasn't very deep it was fairly shallow actually. She shot for another fish and lost her balance falling forward into the water.

Frostflight yawned, stretching her hind legs out nd rolling into her back, dappled light shone through cracks in her den, splashing her with warm sunlight. She stood and glanced around the den, nothing that Mistycloud, Greypool, Rainshade were gone. She presumed they were hunting, on that note she was rather hungry herself. She gave her nest a little burst up and then wandered outside, wondering where the others had headed.

His eyes widen in surprise, shooting a glance backwards at greypool before jumping in after the she-cat. He knew she was quite capable at swimming, as most riverclan cats were, but still panic over took him. After all, quite a number of things could of happened when she fell in, such as the possibility of her hitting of rock or something of the sorts.

She lifted up her head and paddled spitting water from her mouth as it streamed out like a fountain right in Rainshades face.

Rainshade's facial expression twists into one of disgust before fading to one of relief. However, his attention was soon captured by something beneath the waves. Diving under the surface of the water he finds himself paddling towards the very fish he had nearly caught earlier! It did indeed end up dying, and thankfully the corpse got caught on a rock so the current couldn't sweep it away. Grabbing it with his teeth he swims upwards, his head breaking the surface as well. Taking in sharp breaths of air through his nose he paddles over to the river-bank along side mistycloud and flops over on lad. He was heaving for breath due to his small underwater adventure. " Glad to know you're ok Mistycloud, but hey! I got the fish after all." he comments softly letting out a small playful purr.

"Oh my goodness I am so sorry. I didn't know you were there. I am so so soooo sorry. Please forgive me." She said swimming to Rainshade. She was blushing in utterable guilt and self resentment. How could she be so stupid!

" Its no problem. Don't worry about it." He eventually sits up, having caught his breath once more. Gazing down at the fish in what seemed to be pride. After all, this was supposed to be the one that got away. " However, now we are both soaking wet and i don't think the medicine cat would appreciate us getting sick from this.. are you ready to head back?" he asks her. He wasn't quite ready himself, wanting to spend some more time out here. Though, that didn't really matter at the moment either. They really could get sick if they remained soaking wet. Venturing away from the other two cats he attempts to shake his pelt dry of as much water as he could manage.

She walked farther away and shook her fur. When she finished she walked back to Rainshade and hung her head low carrying her kill. "Imph fill phery fory go." she
Said her voice muffled with the fish in her mouth.

Rainshade nods flicking one of his ears, tilting his head back to once more taste the air he could faintly pick up on the small of mouse now that the direction of the wind has shifted. Quickly digging into the ground and burying his fish he jumps to his paws. He would of course come back for the fish later, but he wanted to at least come back with more then just the simple fish. Mistycloud seems to share those feelings as well, so he didn't feel to out of place by continuing his hunt. After waiting a moment he follows after the scent trail.

She buried her fish and scented the air. She could smell a pigeon not to far away. She stalked forward seeing the fat pigeon peck at some leaves looking for food. She leap at it and smacked the bird on the head. Unfortunately it wasn't hit in the head but the body and was baffled. She jumped again as it ran from her. She smacked it wing missing once again. She chased the bird for a while for it was unable to fly now. She finally sprang on top of it and broke its neck.

In order to find his mouse, he had to wander a little ways further then the rest of the hunting party. Finally catching sight of the little creature as it attempted to crack up a small nut. Crouching down into a hunter's crouch he attempted to stealthily creep forwards towards the mouse. Unfortunately he wasn't down-wind and the mouse caught his scent. Panicked the small creature stayed where it was for a moment before darting off. This however gave Rainshade the time he needed to pounce on the creature and trap it between his claws. Tossing it into the air once, he caught it in his mouth and snapped his jaw down around it. Carrying the now dead mouse back to the fish he buried he wondered if Greypool had successfully caught anything. He already knew that Mistycloud had caught her fish, but he hadn't seen Greypool catch anything yet. He didn't even really see Greypool all that much as it was.
