"Why not combine them all and have a pelican wizard in the hunger games?" She laughed at the thought."Oh thanks, my adoptive brother went to play in the NFL about 2 years ago. We get to see him ever so often when they come close during football season." She fell when she caught the ball but jumped back up quickly and dusted off. "I think it's cool you have a family tradition like that. My family just wants us to go for it. Whatever our dreams are they'll help us as long as it's reasonable," she squinted her eye as she tries to aim so he would have a bit of trouble catching it. She scrunched her nose as she focused, once she found her target she tossed it. She looked down and dusted off her knees before waiting for him to throw it back.

Trevor smiled as she took the words right out of his brain with the idea of a pelican wizard in the hunger games. He was about to comment on the awesomeness of the idea when something else she said caught his attention even more. He wasn't exactly zoned out for the rest of what she said, but he hadn't really recovered from the information that he had just heard. When Avary threw the ball back, he reflexively caught it before tucking it between his arm and his side. "Wait, did you say that your brother plays in the NFL?" his eyes were wide with excitement. "What team is he on? What's his name? What position does he play?" After bombarding the girl with questions, he regained his composure, realizing that he had asked a lot of questions and given her no time to respond. "Sorry, it's just that it must be so cool to have a brother in the NFL." He took his ball and held it out in front of him, examining it. "Your brother must really be living the dream."

She saw his expression and was a little surprised by his bombardment of questions."Its fine, his name is Charles Evane, he plays for the Dallas Cowboys and he's a running back," she took off her cardigan and laid it on a chair."I guess he doesn't come around much but he's suppose to be coming for thanksgiving. Maybe you could meet him, he's really nice. And you kind of know where I live, well you don't because I haven't told you but it's right there across the street." She pointed to the two story brick house, it looked like the other houses that made their place in the neighborhood. "He sends us his old jerseys and other stuff. It gets tiring getting so much sometimes though. But he's pretty good I guess, I watch sometimes but not too much. I can't understand it all too well."

"That's so cool! Call me next time he visits, and I'll totally be there." He grinned at the thought of hanging out with an NFL player. He wasn't a huge Cowboys fan, but they definitely weren't one of the teams that he disliked. When he heard that it got tiring, though, he was a bit confused. "What's tiring about it?" he asked the girl with genuine curiosity. He didn't personally know anyone in the NFL, but he didn't think that having a brother in the NFL would be tiring at all. In fact, he thought it would be the coolest thing ever. Well, other than actually playing in the NFL himself. "Don't you think it's cool that you have a brother playing for the NFL?"

Alex was on his third can by the time he went to head back in, though only slightly buzzed. It still had his effect however, as he sauntered his way back into the building, once again chatting up whomever seemed fit for his bubbly ramblings about things he found interesting. His face was nothing but smiles and giggles as he made his way around, occasionally flirting about and drinking more when offered. It wasn't long before he wasn't even bothering to listen to what anyone was saying, just saying yes if they offered him something that looked like fun.

Making his way over to a sofa, he collapsed into the cushion, mumbling happily about something before relaxing into the comfort. Now he watched as people passed and went, carefully noting who was doing what, and who wasn't. Maybe he was digging himself too far into this? No, he was fine.

He snuggled into himself, a giggling mess as he reached out for someone to join him.

"Yeah it's the coolest thing but, it gets tiring him not being around and only sending us cowboys stuff. That's all sometime it's nice for people to just be normal people. "But he lets fame go to his head sometimes but I love him regardless. He's great, I'll make sure to tell you when he comes down. He likes talking about football like you do." She smiled sweetly,"But I hope you can achieve your dream of being in the NFL, but hopefully you won't get many injuries like he has. He has broken his leg one too many times," she giggled. She liked joking with her brother about how his leg was awkward and broke easily, although it was bad her brother always had a sense of humor about it.

"Oh, so what?" He replied, snickering slightly as he reached out to steady himself on the others arm. Sure it ws just the liquor keeping him so relaxed about what was gonna happen the next day, but what could he do? Tilting his head to the side to get a better look, he reached up to pat the student's cheek.

Trevor had to stifle a laugh when Avary hoped that he wouldn't get too many injuries. "I think its a bit too late for me to avoid getting hurt," he said, remembering how much pain he was in this morning. "I think I've gotten more concussions than I can count, and I've spent a few nights in the hospital over the years, but at least I haven't broken my leg yet." He smiled at the girl. He was really flattered that the girl hoped that his dreams would come true, despite barely knowing him. "And by the way, I hope that you get to become the world's best author ever. And when your book about a pelican wizard battling in the Hunger Games becomes a best seller, hopefully I'll be able to buy a ton of copies with all of my NFL money." He gave Avary a goofy grin before looking at his watch. "Oh, shoot! It's getting late, and I have practice tomorrow. I really have to go." Most others wouldn't consider it very late, but Trevor always tried to get optimal sleep so that he could perform well on the field. He ran inside to get Jayne, who he knew would just be sitting on the couch (she hated parties, and made the fact pretty clear). When the siblings emerged, Trevor gave Avary one last wave before getting into his parents' van. When the pair arrived home, Trevor immediately went to bed, dreaming of football, pelicans, and parties.

Brinley finally managed to arrive at the party late, only because she was studying, as she would be. She passed through the crowd of people and made her way to where she could get a drink. She grabbed a red cup and filled it up with whatever alcohol they had. Brinley leaned up against the wall and took a sip, looking all bad ass but in reality she was some weird mix. She cared about her grades more than anything but also was a daredevil in some ways. Brinley couldn't be categorized or labeled in any way, she was definitely very unique.
