Some people do other things in other tabs other than playing lioden/there's really no way to differentiate the chats from each other so it's pretty easy to see why people mispost in other chats.

Yes, you can mispost in other chats, by forgetting which chat you are in, but how would the pop up help on this ?
Maybe they should rather change the chatbox's background colour.



So that you always know what chat you are into, and there is no need for a pop up invasion :D

The notification would notify which chat people are in. I frequent other tabs a lot so this would help a lot since things like this tend to slip my mind.

The color change could work too, but it has to be a slight shade rather than a radical or a vibrant shade of color.

Quite a lot. Do you really wish to buy this? Do you really wish to breed this female? Having to click every time is really annoying when you're doing more than one of the thing, like buying a lot of single items, or mass-breeding females.
Same with chat pop-up. I quickly switch to sales, post my ad then switch back to main, if I had to click OK every time I did Id quickly just stop using chat at all, because it would take too many steps to do something that used to be quick and easy.

Plus I dont see how it would fix the issue with forgetting which chat you're in.. it will still move you to that chat, even though with 1 more click. And in the other window you'd still see the other chat and forget you switched.

I'm pretty sure most, if not all of those pop-ups exist so that people won't accidentally do something that they didn't mean to do. Personally I'm comforted by the fact that I see them every time since it means that I brought the right item/bred the right lion/what have you. It's also a bit of a weird compliant, here you have this option to prevent you from doing things on accident and it's considering 'annoying'? Oookay then...

I....don't understand that. It won't notify you that you're in another chat because you in another window unless you actually bother to refresh it. Unless you want to try to do some voodoo magic or something that makes this possible, be my guest.

I support. I like your idea of how the different chats have a different color. I too have accidentally wrote something in the wrong chat, i didn't even realize it until a mod notified me. I think the chats having a different color would help to make it clear of which chat you are in.

would the chat box colors affect the CSS code?

i like the coloured backgrounds for the chats! Maybe there could be a lil eye icon above the chat so you can manually change the colours or switch them to various colour-blind modes (red/green, blue/yellow, orange/purple, etc)

i'd prefer sperate colours over a pop up :0 they all look like they'd work alright with the night theme as well
