While I don't like the idea of green lions at all, if it has to happen I'd much rather it be naturalistic tones like this.

I personally like the idea of a subtle green base, and this one feels especially appropriate for the upcoming month :) If bright red and actual factual pink can be colors on our lions, I don't see why a nice dull green can't be either.

I didn't really like the idea of the green base, and not really over the "it's not natural" reason. It was just too green... But this, this I like I probably wouldn't breed for it, but with this, I wouldn't care if one of my cubs just so happened to end up with the base. The other suggestion... no offense to those who like it/suggested it, but I would kill every cub with it. And I play good karma lions.

What if this had more brown blends? Since swamps are also very brown?



two version edits of your original, one is countershaded on top and one from bottom. They look more "natural" while slowly turning green. I think it would be a more gentle option and a good first start if we decided for a green base, and that would definitely be Flood Event option if this succeeds?

I despised the original base idea for green lions, but I could get behind this suggestion as well as Xylax's with that Swamp/Mold! The tones here are much more subtle and appealing.

I really want a vibrant green gem base, but these arnt bad either. They are obviously green, interesting, and not too dull. So support.

Okay I much prefer the brown tones being added in, something like that I wouldn't mind being added but saturated gemstone green was another story. XD

I'd much prefer a green like the Mold one with the green to brown shading.
