hey all, today I was thinking about stuff for convenience and I thought. how about we add a new dot status? <------ that green dot? yeah, a recolour of that. basically, a gray or black dot that means afk or unavailable. options 1 - when you log out. it stays green for a while, which may confuse some people. 2 - when you choose. pros less confusion regarding "oh, they are online but aren't resing my message," etc easier sorting of the active studs - see who is on, unavailable, or offline cons confusion of the dots. new players may drown the chat with questions (cancel con here if added to FAQ) potential problem: forgetting to turn your active status back on potential solution(s): automatically coming back on when you log in or post on a forum. thoughts? let me know. majesty coal : activate the grey dot when you log on but DON’T roll your account. loki : the dot could be yellow, so as to match the green and red ones. anne : can be used to filter through studs also |

I support this suggestion because I don't always log out of my account at the end of the day, since I usually fall asleep near the laptop or I just close the tab rather than physically logging out of my account.    0 players like this post! Like? |

So much support! I never log out yet I have my computer set to "always remember password" so I never have to log in, however that doesnt always mean I'm online and active! 0 players like this post! Like? |

This could be useful, it would probably be similar to a status on Skype or other messenger if you go idle for any reason. Like on AIM or Trillian your name fades and goes to italics if you're idle. Like maybe a yellow dot, or something with a tiny x symbol if you're not available, or busy. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Another good thing you can add is that it could be grey for when you log in but don't roll over. I often check to see if I have messages from the rollover page, but don't actually roll and do anything for the day. It would save a lot of confusion from people seeing a green dot when I'm not actually active :) EDIT: I also like the choosing part, some days I don't feel like talking to anyone, but I don't want to seem rude or hostile. 0 players like this post! Full support! If it can be turned on and off by the player, it would also be very convenient for those times when you're online but wanna silently play the game and not interact much. Maybe the dot could be yellow though, so that there is the gradient? As in: green - online and active yellow - online but not fully active red - offline Might make it easier for newer players to grasp what the different colors mean if it's like a traffic light. ^-^ 0 players like this post!
