The Zoo is large, and all the enclosures are spacious and suitable to each animal, and at night the Zoo truly comes alive.

(Those strange zebra noises XD)
|Kallie|Zebra|
Kallie let out a loud bark-like sound and reared up. I'm soooo gonna win! The zookeeper, Leah, seeing what they were doing yelled "GO!" At the yell of the human, Kallie charged forward, determination flooding inside her. Black hooves pounded against the ground as she raced for the Okapi enclosure. When she got close enough, her hoof beats slowed should she could turn back to the elephant enclosure. However, she tripped over a tree root in the process, and stumbled quite a bit. Kallie didn't let this slow her down though and, once she had regained her balance, the zebra raced once more towards the Elephant enclosure. Her lungs burned and legs were starting to wear out, faster than she had been expecting.

|Hahju|Tiger|
Hahju didn't let the female tiger's size sway him. He fluffed up his fur to make himself look larger and locked eyes with the Siberian. While he was grouchy and hot-tempered, his fighting experience was minimal, although no one else knew this. He didn't want to start a fight, but he did want to intimidate Kozak. Hahju's paw rose threateningly, claws out but he did not strike. He braced his hind limbs for if the she-tiger decided to preform a counterattack. "I will if I have to!" He growled deeply.

Drue watched the other cats in the enclosure walk up to the old man handing out meat. The spotted feline flicked her tail and blinked slowly, taking in the feeling of the warm sun on her pelt. Her plan of attack was to go grab food after everyone else so she didn't have to interact with them.

Xena chuffed and finished up her chunk of meat and padded back off to her perch on a high rock of the enclosure. The rock had been heated by the sun and was rather hot and comfortable. She lightly purred and stretched her claws, kneading the soft limestone rock, producing chalky dust from below her paws.

Kolasis's eyes widened as Kolache connected to his leg, and he jumped in surprise. "Uh, s-sorry! It's fine! What?"

Rajeer huffed, and turned away from the feasting cats. He easily leapt back on top of the cave, and settled down to watch the commotion below.

{Heath}

Heath deliberately stayed away from all the other big cats in the enclosure. How could they live in such a happy bliss? Did they have the wool pulled over their eyes? Heath lay stretched out on a rather large branch that was able to support his weight, blue-ish grey fur shining in the dull sun. Sure, he was often viewed and favoured for his unusual hide, but he didn't want the attention. He didn't understand how to have 'fun' in an enclosure, he wasn't born in captivity so he never really adapted to being there.

Lycus - Arctic/Grey Wolf Mix
Lycus yawned, opening his eyes to the bright sunshine. He had been dozing in the sun, snoozing off to catch up on his much needed sleep. He heard one of the other wolves in the enclosure howl and he knew that live prey had been put in, but he stayed where he was. He was feeling unusual and down, lacking his usual amount of energy. He didn't trust the zookeepers, nor did he trust the other animals. He laid his head on his front paws and gazed out at the scene ahead of him.

Mute - Arctic/Grey Wolf Mix
Mute looked over at Siku laying in the distance. No one seemed active today. He wanted to play, but Lycus wasn't a playful buddy and Siku wasn't in the mood. If only I could speak, I'd ask one of the other wolves. He thought to himself. He could howl, yip, bark, whine, and make other wolf sounds, but he couldn't speak. He stood and walked away from his siblings, venturing after the smell of mice which ocasionally found a way into the wolf enclosure.

Siku - Arctic/Grey Wolf Mix
Siku sighed. She missed mum and dad. She watch Mute wander off after some scent and when she looked over to Lycus, her worry spiked. She stood and trotted over to him. His breath smelt sour. Maybe I should alert one of the zookeepers. She thought. She sat down and thought about past events, the death of her parents, the events leading up to becoming zoo animals and the now. What shocked her the most was that she adapted quite fast. She knew that the zookeepers wouldn't harm her but she didn't like how close the humans were. She had been taught humans were a threat, but there are some nice ones. Lycus seemed to distrust all humans and Mute could pose as a pet. She shook her head and laid next to Lycus. "What've you gotten yourself into this time?" She asked her brother. A flick of his ears, her only answer.

Drue

Drue continued laying on the rock for a while longer, dozing in and out of sleep, before she noticed another member of her enclosure lounging not too far off from her. She turned to face the blue and black striped cat, struggling to remember his name. Without fully knowing if she was right, Drue spoke loud enough for him to hear her, "Hey, it's Heath, right?" she inquired. She had noticed that he kept pretty much to himself, and she identified with him in that aspect, but she was curious as to what other things they might share in experience.

{Heath}

Heath forced himself to turn his head to the side, watching the leopard that had spoken to him intently.
"What's it matter to you?" He replied, not necessarily coldly but definitely not cheerfully. His long tail curled around the edge of the branch, flicking from side to side ever so often. He waited for the felines reply, he wondered if they'd stop talking to him after that remark.

Drue

Noting the disinterested tone in his voice, Drue decided that she was most likely not going to get anywhere with the larger cat. Flicking her tail again, she answered him, "Well, it doesn't mean anything to me who you are or what your name is, but maybe it could if you actually wanted to have someone to talk to here besides yourself. Believe me when I say that just talking to yourself is a pretty lonely life. Excuse me if I was trying to liven yours up a little." With her response, Drue dragged herself onto her feet and stretched out her long body, yawning with the stretch. The inviting sun had warmed her head to toe.

Vixen|Fox|

The fox made her way around the encloser looking around to see if there was anything interesting for her to do. Her ears where pinned back as she listened to the chatter of the other animals talking and enjoying themselves. The fox looked around wondering how they where always able to be so happy p, sure there where a few grumpy large cats, but that's just because they where cats and to the fox cats seemed to always be grumpy.

Kane|Wolf|

The black Wolf sat in the shade under one of the trees in the wolves enclosure. He glances around at the three other wolves in the large space. They looked friendly enough, but Kane wasn't about to go and talk to them. The trio looked to be siblings or related in some sort of way. The smell of mice made its way into his nostrils, the male licked his lips in wonder hoping that he would be able to see one run by.

{Heath}

He huffed at Drue's attitude towards him, but he did deserve it for being so rude.
"I apologise, although I don't understand what talking to you would get me. And yes, my name is Heath." He replied, watching as Drue got up, probably to get as far away from him as possible. He wouldn't blame her though, it was only in his nature to drive people away. Even if she did leave, it's not like they wouldn't see each other again. After all, they were in an enclosure with nowhere to go off to.

Drue

A yawn escaped the lean cat's mouth before she responded to the grumpy tiger, "You never know, I could have valuable information that could save your life one day. I probably don't, but the only way to find out is to talk to me. Plus, if you're gonna be a big grump to everyone, no one will care what happens to ya...like if you eat or not." She joked, wandering off towards the zookeeper with the meat. Some of the other cats in the territory had either gotten their fill or had their attention consumed by something else, so there wasn't as much of a crowd around the food anymore. Drue bent her head down and grabbed a thick chunk of meat, the blood splashing her prickled tongue as she clenched her jaws down tightly onto it.

{Heath}

Heath let out another huff, before turning away from Drue. He honestly didn't care if he died here, it's better than living the rest of his life rotting in here. He hadn't the slightest idea on how to kill a boredom that had slowly been growing upon him. Heath supposed he should get some exercise, nothing worse than getting out of shape. He jumped from his branch, making sure to stretch himself once he had landed. Sniffing the air, he could tell it was feeding time, and that thought was confirmed as he looked over to see remains of some food. Heath laughed to himself, it'd be a while before those humans could get him to eat.

Drue

Drue ate her fill of the meat before she lifted her head and licked the excess blood from her maw. Captivity had made her a lazy cat. She heard stories of wild cats hunting for their food, and she'd eaten freshly killed prey when she was younger, but the convenience of having food given to her was too good to pass up. She looked back to Heath, who was now out of a tree and actually walking about the enclosure. Drue noticed that he hadn't touched the food. She wandered over to him again, not really caring whether or not he was annoyed by her. "Now why aren't you eating? Did the dead animals do something to upset you?" She asked, cocking her head almost sarcastically.

"No, I just don't want to eat." Heath replied blankly, eyeing up the feline had approached him. She didn't seem like the type to hunt for food, nor did she look like someone who would kill for it either. He could be wrong though, he never could read expressions very well. Heath stretched once again, so that he wouldn't strain anything if he decided to suddenly become active. It was sad that so many cats were accepting of this life, probably growing old and feeble in this enclosure. What was the point of eating if you haven't earned it in any way? He looked over to Drue again, to wait for her reply.
