Long ago, in the year 3000, the world fell into a state of chaos. A plague swept through the nations, destroying everything in its path and leaving nothing but destruction behind. Countries fell, civilization crumbled, and the world was left to perish. Humans were all but wiped out, and the few that remained became savages, only faint shells of their former selves. Covered in boils and rough, peeling skin, they stick to the shadows and underground sewers that still remain. Hunting anything that they come into contact with, even others of their species.

The year is now 3050, years after the initial crisis. Nature has begun to take back what humans had created. Forests are slowly swallowing the metal buildings still standing, and the roads that once were so busy are now cracking underneath the pressure of tree roots and plants. Animals have taken the humans' place, as they were the only ones not affected by the plague.

Two large packs have been feuding over territory since the beginning, each one distinct in its rules. But now, with the forest creeping in, a pack of coyotes has begun to intrude. Vicious creatures, much larger and leaner than their ancestors, they want to take the city for themselves. Will the packs unite to fight this new threat? Or will they perish between its fangs?

(If the alpha male joins first, then they will have the opportunity to choose the alpha female, and vice versa. However, if they don't care, the slot will be opened and applications allowed.)

2. Absolutely NO God Modding! Your character cannot be indestructible.
3. All Lioden rules apply
4. This is a literate RP, so one line responses will not be tolerated. I understand writer's block, but please try to write at least a paragraph.
5. All relationships between characters must be discussed beforehand! It's okay to put someone else's character as a crush, but if you want the relationship to move forward, message that person first.
6. You must be active!
7. Correct grammar and punctuation please! Make sure your sentences are understandable. If I don't know what you're saying, you will be asked to either re-write your reply, or leave the RP.
8. Characters must be realistic, no super powers or pink dogs! However, you can make their eye color whatever you want.

South Pack: This pack is a quick bunch. Made up of cunning minds and sure-footed brutes. They stick to the south side of the city, easily navigating the tall buildings and hidden pathways they've created between the broken roads and ruins.

North Pack: This pack is filled with strong dogs built for fighting. They are brave and fierce, as well as protective. Willing to go to great lengths to hunt, they often venture into the forest. They reside out in the open, and call an abandoned and dilapidated junkyard their home. Instead of hunting up in the ruins, they prefer to stick to the ground. (Again, betas do not have to be mates, but it is encouraged).
