I have an idea for a clan. I thought it'd be really cool to make an original species. Now from what I can tell, most don't like the idea of original species because they usually have a million rules to go along with them, but there aren't nearly that many rules for this species.

These are what the babies look like. They are round and stubby, so they walk slower than adults.

By the time they are considered adults they have become much more complex, with longer legs, a much skinnier body, and a defined snout.

Something that also needs to be addressed is the tail. The tail is divided in two parts, magic is emitted in the gap, and the color of the magic determines the type of magic. Red for fire, blue for water, green for nature, and purple for wind.

To keep the clan alive without digging only into my funds every month, you can get your baby/babies by buying one from a line up for 10 SB or buying a custom for 100 SB.

So what if I don't like the babies/adults/species' look? You're in luck! If you want to grow up your baby then all you need to do is donate 50 SB to the clan with the reason described as "Adulthood." If you don't like the look of the adults then you'll have two options. You either keep them as a baby or you can upgrade them when they are an adult. I currently haven't drawn any upgrades, but they're like ears, toes,or wings as well as additional markings and colors. Babies can also have upgrades, but they are exclusive to babies. The only way to get an adult with these upgrades are by buying or trading for a baby with said upgrades. There is also breeding, but I'll get into that if/when the clan is created.
