Okay, so there's plenty of times I've wanted to make a post but can't get it all done in one huge chunk, for example when writing the start of an rp or adoptables thread! Then it looks messy or people start commenting before you can reserve spaces you need and they start asking questions about something missing, but you already know that it's missing you just haven't had the time add it in yet.
So how about a topic draft, so you can keep adding to it but not have it posted until you've completed what you want!

My second point is, adding in a post to your topic at the start, so if you've forgotten to reserve a slot then it doesn't matter! It would only be the owner of the thread who can add in posts though! Otherwise conversation wouldn't make sense.
