Jack sat in the drivers seat of the bus, drumming his fingers on the wheel as people got on to the bus. He didn't bother smiling anymore. No one ever smiled back. He would have been quite handsome if it wasn't for the scars. His face was more or less fine with only a couple of scars but everywhere else was covered in scars.

Aaliyah stared for a moment, half expecting some help in loading up her stuff though when none came she did her best to grab her things, Thankfully it was only Four items her bag that held her clothes, a sleeping bag with a pillow tucked into it, her bass and amp. It took a moment for her to figure out how to hold it all but after she figured it out she quickly moved to get on board. She wasn't exactly sure where to sit since it looked like she was the last one to be picked up and there was only a few open seats left one being directly behind the driver who didn't seem to want to act friendly right now.

He watched a girl struggling with her bags, not bothering to get up and help. He didn't say anything when she sat behind him but scratching the back of his head with a scarred hand before starting the engine. He listened quietly to conversations which were going on as he drove, noticing some were about him. He didn't care though.

After some debate Aaliyah slide into the seat before the driver, she lay her bass down flat and set her other stuff on top of it so that she could use it as a sort of foot stole. She tried for some time to zone out through the window as the drove but the jesting sneers of the other people on the bus about the driver was starting to get to her. " They really don't know how to shut up." She thought outloud not caring if the driver heard her or not. She had spotted his scars on her way on board but hadn't given it much thought, everyone had scars some more then others what did it matter if he was one of the people that had more then others? Surely it was gonna be his personality that should make the difference right?

He kept his eyes on the road, taking a right. He then heard her speak, "just ignore them..." he said, thinking he had missed them talking about her or something, "their all idiots..." he then muttered, taking a left.

Aaliyah had to fight the urge to smirk as she heard the drivers response , she was a little embarrass that she had spoken her thoughts out loud but then again it gave her a chance to strike up a bit of a conversation of the drive, " Any tips of how to do that, you seem to be pretty good at ignoring them in all." She said trying to hide her smile as she ducked down to search her bag for some snacks and prayed she hadn't forgotten to pack them or just left them on the counter while getting things organized last night.

He shrugged, "just concentrate on something else..." he told her as he drove, he took a left and then a right as they entered a forest.

Aaliyah sighed, well this conversation was over just as fast as it had started and to make matters worse she had indeed left her snacks at home. " Something else...Got it ..I guess." She said once again trying to zone out . Her eyes kept flicking every once in awhile back towards the driver..as if wondering why he was so down right unfriendly towards someone who at least was trying to be friendly towards him.

He started to tap out a beat on the wheel as he drove once again listening to the conversations.

Aaliyah mindless reached into her pocket to pull out her cell phone, as she expected the only texts she had received where from her mother asking how things where going so far..,to which she just type back Bleh buses are boring. But at least the views out the window aren't bad. She said added a heart at the end before hitting send knowing that once they reached camp she more then likely would only be allowed to use her phone before the day started and after it ended ..so she tried to make the most of it.

He continued to tap a rhythm on the wheel. The bus then started to slow down, "shit," he muttered as he saw they were out of gas. He pulled over as the bus pulled to a stop. He stood, shouting down to the back off the bus, " everyone off!" He shouted opening the doors.

Aaliyah stared confusedly as she slowly stood up getting ready to step into the aisle only to be shoved away by one of the people that had be making rude comments, " What the heck?! Everyones gonna get off the bus, why are you shoving me? " She asked fight the urge to throw a punch at the idiot who just looked at her like she was an idiot before walking past her, this repeated itself until just about everyone was off the bus. "Well aren't you all just perfect, ladies and gentlemen." She mumbled beneath her breath as she finally was able to get off the bus, second to last.

He frowned pushing a few of the biggest idiots off, finally letting her off before letting her off before getting off himself. He sat down on the step of the bus, taking his phone out and called AA. He spoke with them for a while, mostly arguing. He put the phone down, "shit..." he muttered. " no one will be here for a couple years of hours." He told them.

"Well then, may as well make the best of things , It looks like the suns going down which means it will be cold soon." Aaliyah said glaring at the idiots who shoved her, right now she would like nothing more then for them to get lost in the woods. " I'll collect some fallen branches from the woods, along with some leaves, it looks like that's an old tire well. So until some one comes we should at least make a fire to keep, EVERyone warm and with in sight." She made sure to add the everyone loud enough for the idiots to hear so that they wouldn't get any stupid ideas of trying to take over the fire, or bus or something stupid like that.

"I'll come with you, " he said. So far she was the only one who had been friendly with him. "If any of you idiots get lost while I'm gone, don't expect me to come and find you, " he shouted before starting to walk further into the forest.
