Hello! I have no idea if this feature has already been implemented, but I have ralized that there is nothing having to do with interbreeding. No bad consequences or good ones! So, what I suggest, is a raised percentage to get a mutie if two lions that are related, breed. For example, say my main male, Atbash, breeds with one of his daughters. What I'm suggesting is that their child (or children) have a higher chance of becoming mutated! Personally, I would make a higher chance for lethal mutations, but what is your opinion? Edit: If you don't support this idea, would you mind suggesting anything better for interbreeding? I realize now that Mutations are a reward, and interbreeding is actually kind of bad, so, if you have any, please suggest them! Edit #2: go check out this thread possibly maybe thank you www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429256518 Thanks for your time! |

If there is something added for inbreeding, I feel like it should be a penalty, not a reward such as a higher mute chance. Lethal mutes are really popular and expensive. So I'll have to say no support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I was talking about this with a friend the other day and we thought that the best way to implement inbreeding is to have it result in a miscarriage or a stillbirth. On the second day of pregnancy the player would receive a notification saying that their lioness (who was bred with a father, brother, ect.) has suffered a miscarriage. The penalties of a miscarriage would be that and that her mood drops to 40% or below. In addition to this every miscarriage lowers a lioness's fertility by 10%. For stillbirths the player will get a notification with the same title as the one they would get when a lioness has given birth normally, however once the message is open it would reveal that one or more of the cubs were stillborn. There would be slightly more variety in the penalties. If only 1 cub is stillborn the lioness's mood drops to 50%. If multiple cubs die but not all of them it drops to 40%. If all the cubs in the litter are born dead the lioness's mood drops to 20%. The second penalty would be that the lioness's cooldown would be twice as long due to recovering from such a trauma. The only reason for inbreeding would be to maintain a certain look in your lions through the generations (ex. breeding a king with say, Onyx Vit in slot 2 to his daughter with the same marking in the same slot to get a cub with that marking/slot combination as well), but by that time it wouldn't really be worth the risk. It also might serve to balance out the LD economy with the constant need for fresh bloodlines. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hmm, I personally don't think that it needs to be a hugely horrible thing, to where you'd need to avoid breeding a father to a daughter or a brother to a sister, I do agree with the possibility of stillbirth and all I just don't thing it should happen nearly every time. 0 players like this post!
