Sign-ups A sweet breeze rustles the leaves of the oak trees of old that surround you. Birches, like white arrows, sing a song along with the wind; the very heart of the forest resonates with your heart, from the meek mice that will end up as your Clanmates' prey, to the hawks soaring in the distance, that you will never touch. The camp lays in a clearing, under the shade of one willow tree. Many stones of medium to small sizes, piled up together make for the dens, the largest one, near the center, being the leader's den. Ghoststar, so caught up in his leader duty, taking care of restless kits and battles. Then remembering the question Swiftgaze gave him, Ghoststar shook his silky black head. "No. Today I'd rather it be just two patrols, and three hunts. Nothing major, is it?" Rustback - Female - Warrior - Forest - Mentions: Shadefur "I'll have you beat before then." More mock haughtiness on her part. She pads off lightly, with her tail held high. Walking off into the forest, she crawls into some underbrush, not wanting her dark pelt to show. She pricks her ears and takes in the scent of the forest, catching a whiff of a squirrel up ahead of her. Further investigation finds her creeping up to the animal and preparing the most dangerous pouncing kitty-cat butt wiggle. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Shadefur / Male / 20 Moons / Thunderclan Warrior / Location: Forest / Mentions: Rustback Shadefur hears some rustling in the ferns by the river, he doesn't think twice as he dashes toward the bush scaring a shrew out of the ferns, he continues hot on it's heels, then overtaking it and crushing it's head cruelly. "Gotcha!" He hisses to himself as he brings to rodent back to the tree to bury. With further searching, Shadefur spots a thrush on a low branch, he's pretty sure, he won't be able to catch it yet so he crouches low and waits for the bird to make its way to the ground for some seeds. As he pounces, the thrush takes off, he snags the tail off the bird, making it let out a loud squawk which he cuts off with a bite. The puts the bird next to the shrew but he doubts there will be any prey left in this area after the thrush's alarmed squawk. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rustback - Female - Warrior - Camp - Mentions: Shadefur The wiggly butt worked, and Rustback contentedly buried the tree-rat in some leaf litter at the base of a large stone. She proceeded to walk to a small clearing in the woods where a few deer, and very rarely two-legs, gather sometimes. She wasn't there for the deer, though, she was there for the mice and voles that liked to feed on the low plants and grasses there. When she made it to her destination, she stopped. It never ceased to amaze her how beautiful this place was. The trees on the edges barely touches, as if reaching for each other, a small, trickling stream winding through the center, and the herbs and grasses the brushed her shoulders. Smelling her quarry, she made a blind pounce into some grasses and landed on a little red mouse, snapping it's spine instantly. She retraced his steps and caught up to him, dropping her squirrel, two mice, and a vole at his feet, then grimacing at the frog. "Okay, okay. She didn't dislike him or anything, just loved little jokes. For example, one of her favorite stories growing up was when an apprentice left a dead snake on his den. She picks up her kills and almost trips on the squirrel tail dragging between her paws.
