If you haven't signed up please go here first! Sign Up Here! The New WorldIt's been years since humans left Earth. Leaving everything they knew behind. Homes, livelihoods, pets, everything. No one in the ship has been on Earth as many generations have passed since the destruction of Earth, guns, anarchy, bloodshed, biological warfare and nuclear wars. It was deemed uninhabitable and so humans took to the skies. Every year there is a ship "clearing" where the least valuable people are sent to Earth (over the age of 17). It is unknown by the ship whether Earth is even survivable, but with resources limited the ship numbers must be controlled. You have been selected in this clearing and in a few days you will be sent down to Earth, with basic knowledge of how to survive. Characters can die naturally! But as I said no killing. Hunting for prey is allowed however. The rules etc are explained on the sign ups! Please set up the start of your post like this! Character name // Locations // Mentions: (If they're talking to anyone, remember they must be near each other or have a way of communicating).// Any other details that seems like it is needed at this point in the roleplay. For example, severly injured, hunting etc! Here's an example Drew // Base Camp // No one // In the main base setting up shelter. Information for those beginning the roleplay!*A loud voice bellows through the speakers on board* "Welcome, you all know why you're here today. You are being sent to Earth. Whether you survive or not is unknown and up to you, once you leave to the ground we will have no control over you and it is up to you to fend for yourselves, you're not little kids anymore. Think of this as an, opportunity. An opportunity for you to make your name known. Good luck. *The speakers make a faint crackle as they switch off. The lights on board all shut off as the drop ship is disconnected from the main ship, making a large crack and creak, before a loud boom! As the thrusters switch on, sending the ship into Earth's atmosphere. The shaking and rattle of the ship is so violent many people if not all, pass out. It's unknown if everyone will even survive to the ground.* All is still on board, everyone silent in their seats. Did we make it? Currently known areas(I will try to make art for these! The drop ship ~ Where everyone starts.Items inside ~ About 3 days food and fresh water supply, mechanical parts and whatever fuel is left over. Sitka | Male | 21 | Drop Ship | Mentions: Anyone awake Sitka could hear people talking before opening his eyes, not that it was any different than having them shut in this situation. Not being able to see anything but hearing a few people talking about how to get out he unclasps himself with slow movements, slightly shaky after such a long trip. Standing up he takesamingure or two to stretch before blinking, his eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness as time ticks by. When he hears someone mention a top floor to the ship he cautiously moves forward as to not bump into someone and eventually places his hand on something that feels like a stairwell and makes his way up. Sitka stops when someone calls out from above and focuses his eyes upwards until they can make out the outline of someone's head peeking down. "Hey" He calls back "is there anything up there, some type of door or a hatch perhaps?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Serenity / Drop Ship / Mentions: Anyone awake Serenity stood up now, blindly reaching out for anything she could use to guide herself around the small ship. Her hands meet the cold metal wall, and she begins to lead herself to what seemed like a staircase. "Maybe up here," She called out to the remaining people. She began to climb the stairs in the dark, then she hears the voices coming from the upper chamber. She stopped climbing and listened, curious to whether or not they had found a way out. Serenity could feel the oxygen dwindling in the small drop ship, especially now with several people awake and speaking. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She walked straight into a stairway. "Ow. I found the way up." Now she had found the stairs it was fairly easy to notice them if you focused enough. She began climbing up "Hello." Calista // The Drop ship//Everyone awake Calista could hear more, new, voices and guessed that more people had woken up. They still hadn’t made any progress in getting out of the ship. But hey, it could be worse. They could for all she knew be dead floating around in space, but they weren’t, or that was what she hoped anyway. She didn’t really do anything, she felt more or less that she would just be in the way of everyone. And it wasn’t exactly like the others would know that she wasn't doing anything. Standing there in the dark Calista started to think about different sci-fi books she had read in the past and got an idea. “Hey, guys” she started, trying to get someone's attention. “Is it possible for the airlock to be on the ceiling of this thing? With a ladder leading down” she spoke loudly. Directly regretting saying anything, of course they would think of that themselves, wouldn’t they? I'm not sure if there's a ladder though, I never saw the inside of the top floor." She began making her way up the stairs and noticed someone else walk down. "How many of us are awake? Its probably best if everyone awake follows me to the top so we can get some light in here." She began to think of what she may see, inside and out of the drop ship. "Then we'll check for any casualties. We should keep this place as clean and secure as we can, so we'll have shelter until we find someplace better to locate." She continued up the stairs, each step made a soft metal clang as she lightly moved up. She could smell something metallic and wasn't sure if it was the structure, or blood. 0 players like this post! To be honest, she didn't know much about these ships, so she decided to let someone else take the lead. She blinked a few times, her eyes finally starting to adjust to the dark. Drew // the drop ship // anyone awake // top floor (OOC: That's okay ^-^ Once we get out of the ship I'll start making random events etc, to speed up the roleplay's advancement a bit XD) She had begun to feel the effects of oxygen deprivation, the ship still had some, but it was certainly getting less. Her head spun and she felt nauseous. They needed out before blindness or anything permanent was caused! She moved faster now, knocking her elbows and knees a few times on various objects until her hand met very awkwardly with a ladder. Her hand half crumpled into it, "I found some ladders! I may need someone to help with the hatch, I don't know how easily these things are designed to open! " She felt the roof above her a bit, there was a catch which she flipped open and then begun to twist the wheel like handle. It made a metallic creak. Then with one hand on the ladder she pushed the heavy hatch up with the other. Her eyes squinted in the bright light. She hadn't noticed but she naturally had held her breath. *Well here it goes.* She thought to herself, she took a breath in. "Well I haven't died yet. I think it's safe!" 0 players like this post! Now she thought about it, how would she even get down? They must be a fair way up. "Bring any soft object you can, pillows, bags, seat cushions? She might not like it. He walks a few steps away to give her some space. Walking over to the ladder he looks up at the girl that had opened it "If we get out then how are we gonna get back in? Ships from space are meant to be slick so it can travel properly.
