The hybrid watched her leave, and as soon as she was gone, the pale horse trotted down to her subterranean pond. She walked along the outskirts to a small cave, where she stored her food. Countless human bodies were piled in this cave, looks of terror frozen to their deceased faces.

Zmella hummed a cheery song as she went looking for a nice bit of land to make a cave out of,she found the perfect spot a big slab of ice with a clear running stream running outside it "Perfect" she said to herself as she turned into her Phoenix self to melt the ice slab into a cave.
Once she was finished she let it freeze again then she went about clipping all the frozen ice drops off and settled inside


Clary looked around in wonder not quite believing that a hidden world was in a alleyway she walked around until she saw a Pegasus,the Pegasus had a colourful coat and wings covered in green,blue and red feathers like a parrots she thought as she hid behind a bush. Clary summoned up the courage to say hello. "Hello?" she called into the cave,the Pegasus walked out her face full of suprise "Hello! Your a human?" The Pegasus asked "Yes" Clary said "Your really pretty" Clary blurted out "Thank you would you like to be my rider?" The horse asked suddenly "Yes sure! My names Clary what's yours pretty pony?" Clary asked "Zmella" the horse answered helping Clary onto her back

After finishing her meal, Xar'zith took flight, searching the forest for any intruders. It was her heritage to protect this land against assault, and she did so with no fears or doubts. Both of her parents had been carnivores like her, raised by humans in a lab. But the humans tampered with Nature too much, resulting in the lab's destruction and the forest's Eternal winter.

Zmella flew to Xar'ziths cave to ask if Clary could stay here,when she arrived there was no one there so she waited while waiting she manifested some thick warm clothes that were blue and white for Clary who was shivering "Thanks" Clary said as she picked the clothes up and walked behind a tree to get changed

After her long, and uneventful flight, Xar'zith returned to her cave, shaking snow off of her back. She saw Zmella waiting by the entrance with a human woman.

"Yes! I do! This is Clary she stumbled in to this world by accident but doesn't want to go back to her world so I was wondering if she could stay? She'll always be with me and she won't get in your way and she will migrate with me in the winter........and she won't harm anything in this wood" Zmella reeled off looking at Xar'zith with big hopeful eyes "Please?" Clary asked quietly bowing to Xar'zith "I will follow by every rule you set and I'll stay with Zmella,please give me a chance" Clary said looking at the majestic ice horse

The icey hybrid eyed the human, and spoke quiet, yet firmly. "She may stay, but no wandering is permitted. She must remain by your side the entire time, and, She is forbidden to leave the cave after sundown. A monster roams this Forest at night, and heeds none, not even me."

She turned briskly, and entered her cave.

Clary asked finally "How bout we fly?" Zmella asked a mischievous glint for,ed in her eyes "Sure" Clary said climbing onto Zmellas back.
They soared into the sky while it was snowing Clary exclaimed in excitement and spent hours gazing at the snowy starlit sky.
