I agree with Bezthiel that eggs should only break while wearing the mask. Back when I was chasing on this account and wearing the mask on my main I'd gotten about 1/3 the eggs here and that was before breaking.
Unless that super rare event is the most amazing thing that's ever happened it just doesn't feel worth it to not wear the mask, even before eggs were breaking.

And on a tangent;
Not to mention I took the mask off my alt again and in the last 120% energy I used I was able to chase 5 bunnies. Why is chasing so uncommon for how little it gives? I sorta feel the amount of chase encounters needs buffed even before breaking was added to more equal the mask encounters. Maybe make the rare event rarer if that happens but I feel like I should run into more than 4 opportunities to chase rabbits per full energy bar...

Honestly, with the change to remove alts as food freezers, increased expense, and incoming limits on yolks anyway, why not just let people find lots of eggs? The rest of the egg items are decor and who cares if every lion here is covered in flowers and accompanied by a herd of baby lambs or whatever. Yolks will be capped in some way and can't be stored for later so it's not like having lots of eggs breaks the game now.

Don't get me wrong, I think something needed to be done about yolks from what I've been hearing but I think the devs successfully addressed that before limiting eggs further. (Or at least will have once the changes roll out.)
