Aero backed against the cell wall. Her mind was reeling. Just an hour ago, she was living in the town. This town had to give 2 of their best genetic cats to the shadows. With her powers and beautiful fur, she was obviously going to be picked. Sure enough, the day came and the shadows hauled her off. She had always thought the shadows did this to kill them and keep the town weak. She had no idea what was happening. The other cat didn't make a move toward her, like she expected, but he crumpled to the floor and began to sob. Aero froze. She was obligated to help a fellow inmate, but a large bit of her said that she could escape and hide if he kept crying. A few minutes passed awkwardly, with the cat crying on the carpeted floor and Aero presses against a fluffy wall. Suddenly, the cat lifted his head and said, "Sorry about that. Do you want to get this over with the easy way, or the hard way? I can't fail or they will kill me, so I won't fail. No matter what. And you won't get in my way." The cat puffed and stood up. "So?"

(Have the 2nd bit, I'm working on the third but it might have a fourth part that might get explicit if I'm not careful, so I'm going to continue on another post)

Aero froze even more, pressing so hard against the wall that she swore it gave a little. The cat walked over to the cell door, and stuck his paw out. A moment later, he pulled it back in with a bag clutched in it. He opened the bag, and pulled out a file. He opened it, and looked up at Aero. "It says here that you can be... problematic with your powers and all." He then began rummaging through the bag again, whispering to himself. He then pulled out some cards with a "Here they are!" Aero felt anger brewing inside her. How dare he do this! The cat raised his paw. "Don't do that." Aero let out a sarcastic laugh. "And who's going to stop me? You? The shadows?" The cat shook his head with a laugh, looking back at the cards. Aero had finally had enough. Her eyes began to turn brown, and she felt her control over the ice shards returning. The cat laughed. "You should have listened to me." His eyes grew wide, his pupils turning into two x's, and his paws left a small mark in the carpet as his body was lifted into the air. He clapped his paws once, and Aero's control over the ice shards vanished completely. "H-how? That can't happen!" The cat returned to the floor, but he didn't appear to shut off his power. "You like it? I think it's pretty cool. I'm going to keep myself like this, just in case." Aero ran to the other corner of the cell, where there was a window. She threw herself against it. "I'm going to get out of here!" The cat waved his paw, and Aero flew away from the window and hovered in midair. The cat yawned. "Alright, enough games. I'm Topaz, and I'm sick of playing around." Aero's legs twitched, tensing. "No! No no no!" Topaz put his paw back down and Aero fell. Topaz sighed, appearing relived somehow. He backed away from Aero. "Thank god. They shut off the cams. I hate those lines." Aero backed away. "W-what just happened?"
