The Dark Wings

Background
There once was a colony named, Wings, and that colony lived in peace and harmony. Everyone had a role in that colony and everyone followed that role that they would soon pass on to their young ones. The colony lived in a staggering 400ft tall tree with branches big enough for each ranking. The branch consisted of nests and extra area for landing areas. Each branch held one ranking of the heirarchy on that level and never two hierarchies share the same branch. This will help everyone identify who has what role. 3/4 up the tree is the branch for the King. If his mate has a different rank she still nest with him. The branch under that one is for the second in command officer, the next level is for the guards and their mate. Under that one is for the hunters and their mates. Under that one is for the Elders who each have their own individual nest. They are at the bottom so if a predator comes they can be eaten first since they have lived a long life. Once an elder gets to sick to fly they are useless to the colony so they are pushed off the the edge of the branch and supposedly their spirits will escape and make it up to the sky. For the younglings they learned how to fly by their parents pushing them off the edge of the branch and hoping they would glide. The ones that don't glide in time and hit the ground are abandoned from the colony.

Plot
For centuries the forest the Wing colony lives in is getting sicker by the minute from humans that live close by. The bats haven't noticed yet and live their lives like everyday. The forest has been giving them warnings with trees slowly decaying and falling to the ground making large noises that echo through the forest. The king hasn't been alarmed by the falling trees and continues on with his colony with celebrating the day the younglings learn to fly. As soon as the celebration begins the forest gives up on the warnings and the forest they once called home starts to set ablaze. Smoke fills the air the and gets into the bat colonies lungs. The only place to survive is to fly above the clouds and away from the smoke. Will you save the younglings or is it one man for themself? That's for you to choose.

5) This is semi literate so 6+ sentences. Occasional writers block is okay but not all the time.
6) Keep 1x1 to minimum. Interact with everyone

Hierarchy
King-1/1 The male that rules the colony and is in charge of all the decisions for the colony
Second in Command Officer-0/1 A bat usually a male but can be a female takes the place of the King for any reasons
Guards-0/4 These bats follow the King where ever he goes and protect the King at all cost no matter the situation
Hunters-1/Unlimited This is the majority of the colony for any gender. They hunt for the colony and bring back food for their families
Elders-0/4 These are the oldest bats of the Colony who know much wisdom but don't have a lot of respect
Younglings-0/4 These are the pups who are 5 months-1 year. They don't rely on their mothers too much anymore and journey on their own through the colony.
Pups-0/4 These are the newborns of the colony. They are 0-4 months. They rely on their mother
