Mercury - Herbalist He gently nosed her paw, feeling for any signs of a break - He didn't think it was, anyway, or else she wouldn't have been able to walk as well as she had been. A twist? A sprain? Bandit - Warrior Bandit glanced over at Eclipse to make sure she was alright before looking back at Ruki. He wanted to lay down and think over things more but felt like he needed to stay with the black pup, he also wanted to keep talking to Ruki. "Have I missed anything?" Drake - Alpha Male "warrior" - Mentions; lilith & Vixen Lilith's tone was ignored when she spoke, composure remaining in place as a stiff and unfriendly smile wormed it's way across his features. For a moment he may have thought about quipping back at the pup sitter. However he only flicked an ear in responce, a sigh slithering past dark lips. Women. He was doing his job as a warrior, keeping strangers at bay. One couldn't always greet every wolf they met with open arms for not all had honest intentions. Drake knew this, he'd been around many seasons and witnessed the blood thirsty ruthlessness of rouges before. Seen them rip packs apart, pups and all. Even saying their names was foolish enough, but the fact this Lilith had let it be known that she harbors newborns was a grave mistake. The man narrowed his eyes as Vixen spoke to his packmate. Her malice was clear, and she was only further proving his unspoken worries. What a shame," his voice was dry and lacking empathy. He'd noted her nails digging into the soil below. That act was one of anger or possible threat-- he wasn't completely sure yet. A snarl slides from his throat as lips peel back to expose long ivory weapons. Hackles starting to lift as the male took steps closer, attempting to tower over the rouge. His stance is wider now, paws firmly planted into the ground to secure his balance. Chin turned down to keep his soft throat guarded. "I do hope you're not making a threat, darling." his voice is velvet smooth, and almost sickly sweet. If this female made any attempt to be aggressive or otherwise threatening Drake will lunge at her, possibly attempting to push her backwards and knock her down. {Ooc: please know he has NOT made that move on her but if she does do anything violent or threatening he will engage Vixen in a spar, of course no major damage unless okayed by her player ^.^ I know Drake seems like a butt right now but he's only looking after his family.} 0 players like this post! Vixen | Rouge | Mentions: Drake, Lilith Vixen noting the brutes slithered expression, he was dismissive of his pack mate. Although she was still heated from the previous dark coated male lunging at her, topping it off by taking the small pup she hadn't realized trailed not far from them. The female could understand the warriors bitterness towards her, Vixens group didn't have a good reputation with them. To be frank, they weren't all barbaric and rough on the edges. Knowing this from personal experiences, but then again she didn't question it. She maneuvered slightly, making herself malleable as his tone grew dry. A single chuckle escaped her lips, "Yes it is quite a shame, why would you take in a rivaled cub? Surely you plan to use the opportunity against myself and others." Vixens pale amber eyes examined the large warrior who now dominantly towered over her. Refraining herself from showing further hostility as he spoke once more. "Who said I was?" We are just having our herbalist make sure her paw is fine then we will send her back to you! Do you really think I would steal a pup from her family? I watch over pups for goodness sake! Drake - Alpha Male "warrior" - Mentions: Lilith & Vixen Yellow green eyes narrow at the rouge's words, but Lilith had beat him to the punch of speaking out. Drake glanced between the two giving an snort and taking a moment to back away from the twany female known as Vixen. The hostility in his stance has lightened as he stands back, allowing his packmate to handle the situation; or at least try. "Your body language says a lot," his responce was quick and to the point about her earlier question. For now he lets Lilith try to handle things as she'd asked. Even if doing so really nagged at his better judgement. Though she could be right; females seemed to opperate on a diffrent mindset. For now he keeps watch, ready to assist Lilith should she require it. ● Samuel - Rouge - Mentions; Jessabel, Mercury, Bandit & Eclipse + whoever is in camp ● Sneaky, sneaky Samuel has mannaged to slip into claimed lands, so far unnoticed by the pack who inhabits it. Bright yellow eyes peer out into the camp where he is hidden just behind some bushes and a large rock. He'd taken the time to roll himself in a puddle of water in attempts to mask his scent before he'd hidden himself. He watches as two male wolves tended to what looked to be an injured pup. Then he scans the rest of the camp, noting a black female who spoke of someone named Duncan. She seemed busy, good. Greedy eyes continued to explore what he could see; landing on a left over deer carcass. Perhaps if he timed it right, Smauel could make off with an easy meal. 0 players like this post! Accelia - Rouge - Mentions: Drake, Lilith and Vixen Accelia was on a run as usual in the morning. Her legs moved fast; gaining in strength and speed. She didn't only do this to get stronger and fast but for the feel it gave. The feel of being free with no limits, no rules and no one to listen to. She was her own wolf. The feel of the air brush through her silk white pelt was bliss. As she ran she came across a fallen log and jumped over it with ease; her back legs pushing of the ground. However once she landed she skidded to a stop. The young female would normally pace her stops but she smelt the border line of the pack her small group was near. Accelia was about to turn and leave when she caught the scent of a familiar wolf. oh Vixen... she thought with a sigh. She use to be in a pack and knew what they would be like with her in there. Being the kind wolf she was she couldn't leave the tawny female there. A small growl of frustration left her maw and she started following the scent of Vixen. Her legs picked up pace and she started put into a slow run. As she approached however the scent of two other wolves came clear to her; knowing they were both part of the pack she grew shy and her ears pinned back a little. The white female slowly came up to Vixens side. They hadn't talked much before and barely knew each other but she had seen the wolf before and knew her name. Hesitantly Accelia began to speak. "I-I'm sorry.. Vixen does tend to get lost.. i-if it's okay I can show her out and we will be on our way.." She said; cringing at herself for stuttering and making herself seem weak. I will take these two back to the border" she said looking between the females and Drake. Without waiting for an answer, she carefully nudged Vixen back towards the border. "Come on Vixen, before he decides to kill us all. Eclipse - Rogue pup - Mentions: Mercury, Bandit, Ruki; The black pup watched Mercury curiously, blinking a little as she wasn't exactly sure what he was doing or checking for. Ears perking at his question, her gaze averted and she lowered her head a little. “I..tripped.” Eclipse admitted, a little embarrassed at such a simple thing as she lifted her head back up, looking at Mercury. “I think I just twisted it though..” She said softly, tilting her head a little as she glanced back at Bandit and the male beside him. Ruki - Warrior - Mentions: Bandit, Mercury, Eclipse; The male's ears perked slightly at his question, a small sigh emitting from him as he shook his head, gazing at Bandit carefully. “Not that I know of, I was too worried to pay attention to anything.” He admitted, soon sitting beside the male as his gaze shifted over towards Mercury and the pup, watching carefully for a moment. “Well,” Ruki started, looking back towards the male. “I'm just glad you came back alright.” He said, the smallest of smiles forming as he looked away. 0 players like this post! Bandit - Warrior Bandit couldn't help but smile to hear the male was worried about him. A small string of hope buidling inside him that maybe. Just maybe. Ruki liked him too. His tail flicked and his eyes shine a little bright for a couple moments before he calmed himself down. "Yeah.. thank you Ruki." He said. Physically he came back alright but mentally he was a disaster but that was more his fault than Drakes, or so he thought. His ears twitched as he heard Mercury speak; looking over and gently licking the pups head. "I will see you in a bit." He told her. Drake - Alpha Male "warrior" - Mentions: Lilith, Vixen, Accelia, Bandit, & Ruki For now he stood back and watched. Something about that twany female was not settling well with him. Drake did not trust her, not one bit. However when Lilith asked him to go back and check on her pups he feels torn. Part of him knows he should stay, bacuse this could very easily go south when he leaves. Yet another part has faith that she can handle this herself. As the man stands he notices his packmate whisper something to the rouge, what it was he doesn't know so he simply dismisses it turning to ve on his way. When another voices greets his ears however he pauses and eyes the new commer. A white she-wolf. Another rouge. This was not good. It means there are more where they came from. Rather than stay and argue the situation Drake takes off in a full tilt run to camp. His claws ripping at the ground for better grip as he tore through the underbrush avoiding any obstical like a seasoned pro. All the while a bad feeling knotted in his gut. When he arrives to camp, Drake spots Bandit sitting with another Warrior. He approaches the pair with a respectful nod. "Hey Bandit, I wanted to say sorry about earlier, that was harsh and wrong of me." a frown settles over his lips for he was truely sorry, his drive to protect had overseen any other reactions. "I'm just worried, ive been picking up traces of more and more rouges at our borders.. there could be a lot, which could be a huge problem for us... and that reminds me-- if you two don't mind, could you run another border patrol- possibly check on lilith, another rouge showed up as I was leaving to check on her pups.. sonething about that twany female is not sitting right with me.." When they finish talking Drake will take his leave, and enter the pups den to check on them as asked. ● Samuel - Rouge - Mentions; Jessabel, Drake, Bandit & Ruki● The longer he stares at the deer the more his stomach burned in hunger. However now was not the time, because just as the pup and male tending to wounds left his sights another wolf appears on scene. Samuel listens closely to their exchanged words gathering information as he waits for the perfect time to strike. He knows he couldn't possibly make off with that whole carcass-- but he could get a nice chunk, if he plays his cards right. But for now he remains hidden and hopefully unnoticed, where he waits and watches. (OOC|: I made an opsie earlier i thought vixen's name had been given before but must have read it wrong, so just strike the mentions of it away plz.
