I've actually been the same. I used to buy GB pretty regularly every month. It wasn't always a lot. But it was at least something every month. But I notice I've been spending less money on LD. Which is a bit sad, but I dunno. I don't find the reward of putting money into the game as worth it anymore I agree.

Yeah. I was hoping to get myself one and store it for later, since I'm more casual and go inactive a lot. I miss out on moneymaking events, so Im not the richest player out there. But suddenly having that hope of ever getting something worth ripped from you, yeah it is pretty depressing.

I agree wholeheartedly with you Angela.

But I'm also a little tired of the last minute item swaps and price raises. This isn't the first time this has happened and I doubt it will be the last time. For instance, I had gb and shells stashed away for February, too, and we all know how that went with the item shuffling shitshow.

This seems like an issue that someone would have learned from by now in the realm of player backlash.

i have 1000+ bones and planned to buy 2 balls to sell for funds today if it unlocks, totally fucks up any momentum i had, finally felt like i was doing good and could get a couple, ive never been able to stock up like some players.

Honestly, I was actually hoping for a ton by the end of the event. Up to this point I've paced myself in a way I would've ended up with 20 or maybe even 21 buffy balls by the time the event ended.
Now I'll be lucky to get more than 8-10, probably.
I actually had plans for them too. Get a sunset with them first, and once GMO cows come around next month, see if I'm lucky enough to get a pon with them. If I somehow got both? Hoard the rest or use them to get pretty cubs.
With the change came a sudden realization that there's no way that I'm ever going to get a pon after all that sunset breeding, and there's a decent chance I'll never get a sunset either with it being a medium special base. It seems now more like a waste to try for either of those, so I don't even want to open the peddler anymore. There likely won't be any award for me for trying that hard, and it feels more like I've wasted this month already.

The hilarious thing is, we shouldn't even NEED to buy buff balls, because 1 cub litters shouldn't be so damn common. In real life 2 to 3 cub litters are far more common, yet on here literally every single litter is only 1 cub. It's a basic flaw within the game that really needs fixing, as I'm sick to death of spending 500+ SB on stud fees only to get yet another 1 cub litter. Having to spend even 500 DB to get an item just to guarantee a realistic sized litter is bad enough - having to spend 700 DB is utterly extortionate, bordering on unbelievable.

The rarity of 1 cub litters could do with getting looked at, to lower it right down and make 2/3 much more common. Until then, at least make the scrotums affordable :/

I'm definitely fine with an increase to 600DB per BB, but 700 feels... very steep to me. Especially considering it was dropped on us with little to no warning.

Guys they probably did it for a reason. I feel bad because we are bashing them really hard. I'll try and think of a reason, I bet there is one. As Fluffee said on page four, it does balance out pretty well when you look at it.

Honestly in my opinion it was not okay for them to pull that last minute on us. We had our goals set up. Why not just leave it for 500 this time, then gradually go up each year? It seems really steep to just do that and especially with people who can't get DB at all. We were not warned to this change nor is it okay to have it up so high up when people were already banking on it and had auctions on their currency. Because now it's gonna make the currency worth less and people are gonna be mad because they are bidding on a certain amount of currency like aka 500 then it's changed to 700 out of nowhere and now people have to stick with those bids! That is unfair to the community and should not be changed until next year.
