Two clans, Heatherclan and Cragclan have been at peace for many moons. Respecting their borders, meeting every moon during dusk, prey is abundant...however, there is going to be a huge event that causes the clans peace to end. Do you wish to be part of it?

Cragclan camp entrance:
6595296-4x3-940x705.jpg
Cragclan is mature, honorable and responsible. This clan takes Starclan very seriously. They believe they are closer and more in tune with Starclan because they live up in a cave at the foot of a mountain. They see the moon as the Mother to all cats and they pray to the moon before every Gathering.
They're built for climbing and battling, having to climb the mountain to hunt or use their strength in battle. Their camp is in a cave that is laden with glow-worms, making the camp a must-see experience. Apprentices are trained rigorously for battle and to hunt birds of prey.

Heatherclan camp:
GORGE.jpg
Heatherclan is outgoing, competitive and creative. This clan's camp takes place in a shallow gorge, giving them shelter from the whipping winds of the moor around them. They are religious, but not so much as Cragclan. They believe the Sun is the father of all cats and they pay their respects to the sun by hunting and respecting the area around them. The clan encourages individuality over following just Starclan.
They are built for running and jumping, as they have to run quickly to catch their prey and jump to get out of their camp. The medicine cat den is deep within the wall of the gorge and it is made up entirely of a clear, turquoise stone that reflects the suns rays and makes the camp glimmer. They encourage fun and relaxation, but still train their apprentices to defend themselves.

Which side will you choose?
Heatherclan?
Cragclan?
Or neither of them and choose to live the life of a rouge, loner or kittypet?

RP Example: Eclipse wondered through the dense forest, her thick black and grey fur helping to blend in with the shadows around her. Eclipse had caught the scent of an injured rabbit a few feet away, and has been slowly tracking it. The scent of the rabbit got stronger as she came to a narrow creek with wildflowers blooming all around. Eclipse crouched down when she saw the rabbit taking a drink of water, and slowly crept forward. When Eclipse was a few feet from the rabbit, her back left foot step on a small dry twig, causing it to snap. The rabbit looked over in Eclipse's direction, and took off. The rabbit still had some energy and strength in her, but Eclipse was hot on her heels. Eclipse jumped and tried to bite down on the rabbit's neck, but wasn't able to get there, as the rabbit lashed out with one of her back legs, kicking Eclipse in the ribs and knocking the wind out of her. The rabbit scampered away as Eclipse sat there to catch her breath.

RP EXAMPLE: The tom let out a terrifying snarl as he took a threathening step towards the small kit. His cold icy blue eyes wavered over to the queen who stood over the kit. " Move.. Now.." He hissed through clenched teeth. " Over my dead body, Frigidstare!" Frigidstare launched his muscular embodiment at the queen, pinning her quickly onto the hard ground. His claws slashed her chest, earning a yowl of pain. The kit backed into the corner fearfully as he covered his eyes to shield himself from the gory sight.

The queen, Chasteberry swiped at his nose, leaving several marks on the tom. That only spurned Frigidstare on further as he sank his sharp teeth into her throat. Chasteberry claws at his back, blood cascading down his side. Despite this, he only crunches down harder. A wail of agony escaped Chasteberry's lips as she gasped for air. Her body slowly became limp as she feebly scratched at Frigidstare.

The white turkish angora stepped off the dead she-cat before turning to the kit. A malicious grin spread across his muzzle as the kit shrunk down, ears pinned, tail tucked in. He raised a paw, slamming it down on the kitten's head and watched as blood gushed from it's mouth.

RP EXAMPLE:
Dawnshine ever so slowly padded out of the warriors den and glared against the sun. She looked around and spotted her brother and her apprentice. Quickly and silently, she padded over to them and sat down, her tail twitching in both frustration and eagerness. It has been a couple moons since her and Hollypool were announced mates and still Brightheart was avoiding the topic of fathering their kits. "Whitepaw, If you are so eager to do something, then you can go see if the elders need their bedding changed and if they need any ticks removed." she said slyly, still irritated with the albino tom.

RP SAMPLE:

Icepaw wasn’t the only one sneaking around, it seemed. Beetlebark had poked his head out of the medicine cat’s den and into the clearing very hesitantly, and very nervously with trembling whiskers and rounded eyes. He was always sniffing, always checking that the camp was not about to fall into some sort of chaos, and his eyes flashed around to be sure that no cat was about to notice him sneak out of the camp.

It wasn’t that he was doing anything wrong at this moment- he was just going to miserably attempt to scent out any of the unidentified herbs that he had failed to find the morning prior, through every inch of the territory he had not yet covered. But, every time he appeared into the clearing, cats seemed to draw to him like moths to a flame, with questions and problems and injuries- both real and imagined. He didn’t know how to help them; he barely even knew what the herbs were for in this den he had been pushed into! It was overwhelming and terrifying, and even more so after the recent skirmish that he tried very hard to force out of his mind.

Don’t ask me for help, don’t ask me for help, don’t ask me for help… Beetlebark prayed silently with eyes shut tight as he slunk and crept through the very edge of the camp, sticking close to the shadows. He was so worried about catching glances and looking over his shoulder to ensure that he did not attract attention to himself, and he didn’t even notice that Icepaw had taken this route just before him.

Don’t ask me for hel- Pfft! The apprentice-aged tom bumped into the she-cat just as he had turned his head, and now found her right in his field of vision. It was a blur of a light gray fur all up in his muzzle. “Ack!” He sputtered as he stumbled backward in a very awkward manner and swiped a paw over his nose to get rid of the tickled feeling of fur brushing up against it. His heart was hammering in his chest, as if she had somehow jumped out to scare him, when in reality he had been the one not looking.

“I- um, sorry… Icepaw...” Beetlebark mumbled under his breath, his face heating up in embarrassment. He didn’t think to question why the she-cat was skulking about in the shadows, nor register that she was actually attempting to sneak out. He moved to push past her and quicken his pace through the entrance as he realized that by bumping into her, he had foiled his attempts at stealth and opened himself up to be drawn to by chattering cats. He had to get out quick, before any other cat noticed!

It was a misty night. Having given up on her restless tossing and turning in her nest, Violetmist picked her way carefully between the sleeping forms of the other warriors dozing around her and slipped out of the den into the night beyond. Immediately, a fine mist of water droplets coated her whiskers, beginning to soak slowly into her pelt, and she reflexively shook out her fur in an attempt to shed the drowsiness clinging to her brain. Ugh, her paw fell asleep. With a soft, uncomfortable grunt the she-cat padded awkwardly forward a few paces, waiting for the pins and needles to leave her, and once that annoyance was gone she roved her steely blue eyes over the hushed camp . There was, understandably, nothing of interest going on. Being that everyone else (save for the night guard currently on duty) was asleep. A sigh was the next thing to wind its way out of Violetmist's lungs and she padded to a halt, choosing to sink back onto her haunches before tipping her head back to watch where the innumerable stars of Silverpelt twinkled brightly up above. There had to be hours left until even a hint of sunlight would begin to creep over the horizon, so what to do with her restless mind until then? Many times before, the purplish warrior had spent this exact sort of time counting the stars, letting her eyes trace nonsensical designs between the twinkling dots, but one could only do that for so long before growing very bored. So eventually, she got back on her paws. A hunt, she thought, resolutely committing to the idea, and with a nod and lash of her tail Violetmist set her course towards the camp's entrance. She caught the eye of the cat standing quiet sentry there, and after a soft mew of greeting Violetmist increased her pace to a brisk dash as the trees loomed up before her, the she-cat's form disappearing off into the dark depths of the territory.

The apprentice stood up wearily. 'Where am I?' she thought blinking. Something pawed her in the side, she jumped turning around and seeing another cat "Who are you?" the cat asked, "You don't smell like the shelter" the cat mewed prodding her again. "I-I'm Reed" Reed mewed to the cat "And you are?" She asked. "I'm Murdie!" the cat responded "Where did you come from?" He mewed in a confused. "I came from the forest" Reed mewed "Where am I now?"
Murdie looked at her like she was crazy "You must be joking! Our housefolk brought you in a box! You looked as though you were gonna die! the housefolk had you locked in the other room! none of the others cats were allowed to go near you!" He finished with a huff. "Other cats?" Reed asked "Yeah! There's tons of others!" he responded joyfully.

A recent post of mine from Advanced-Scribes.com. I usually write well over 1k words per post but I can tone it down a lot for this rp XD:

Matthias didn't go to his hammock at all that night. Instead of doing so he just climbed higher into the rigging, wrapped his arm around a tight rope so he wouldn't fall, and leaned against the mast. He was glad that William had decided to take the hint and leave him alone because he just didn't want to deal with him at that moment. In fact he didn't want to deal with any one. Didn't want to deal with their stares. Their questions. Anything. Even if it was something mundane as small talk. Matthias wanted to be alone and he found that the rigging was probably the best place for him to do so.
Closing his eyes the blonde new blood just focused on the sound of the ocean and the ship around them. It was somewhat relaxing but couldn't take his mind off the people who had passed and all the weird things that had happened. He had always thought that there might be a possibility of the gods, monsters, ghosts, and the like because of the way that the fishermen had spoken. But he never really thought there would be the possibility that he would ever see anything like it in his life.
But mostly he thought about Andy and how much of an idiot he had been to even give into that and mess around with the captain. He felt disgusted with himself but not because of Andy but because of himself. He chewed the side of his cheek for a moment and gave a sigh as he opened his eyes looking out over the ocean that seemed so calm.
__________________________

Day one:
When sleep finally overcame him Matthias was still against the mast, his face pressed into the arm that he had wrapped around the rope. His neck was sore and his body still felt exhausted as he woke but he finally found the strength to pick his way down the ratlines and stretched out his body once his feet were on the deck. Not sure what he should be doing so early in the morning he made his way down to the sleeping quarters to discard his boots by his hammock because he didn't feel like actually wandering around in them. Sometimes he just preferred to be barefoot. Passing by the kitchen on his way out he could hear James and Jack talking but he didn't really feel like eavesdropping so he instead made his way back up the stairs and to the deck. Maybe doing what he had been ordered to do by Andy would make him feel a little better and take his mind off things.

Getting grown men who were older than him and he barely knew to sit still and listen while he tried to teach them was honestly the hardest thing in the world. But in the end he managed to get a small handful to actually pay attention to what he was saying. One of those people being William who seemed a little too keen on paying attention and seemed to be clinging to each word and thing he tried to show. But truth of it all was that William just sucked at what he was doing. Matthias couldn't even get him to tie a simple slip knot that worked like it should.
"No. No, you don't tie it there. You tie it here so that it won't come loose when force is applied to the wrong end but when you pull here it comes loose easy for quick use," he explained with a sigh and he tied the knot quickly to show the man before pulling it loose and handing him the rope.
"Sorry. Knots aren't my thing," William apologized before grabbing the rope again to keep trying. "So you and the captain...?"
"You're done for the day, go do something else because I don't want to teach someone who isn't paying attention. I'm not going to be bugged about idle gossip. Go find something else to do, William, because you aren't listening to me," Matthias snapped before standing up from where he was sitting and making his way to someone else and leaving an irritated looking sailor staring after him with a untied piece of rope in his hand. It was too early for Matthias to feel like he was being cornered into a conversation that he absolutely didn't want to be a part of.
__________________________

When breakfast came around and everything was served the blonde thought about skipping but didn't want to be a topic of conversation because he wasn't there. So instead he forced himself down the stairs and sat at the place he had been sitting for the last few days for meals. He became aware that Andy wasn't sitting at his usual place but disregarded it has he stirred his utensil around in the food that had been made. He wasn't hungry so he couldn't really bring himself to eat. After breakfast he went back to work trying to reign in the men who didn't really seem to want to learn and would rather be doing other things.
"I swear I'm going to punch someone if you guys don't start paying some attention. You think I want to be doing this any more than any of you want to learn it? But the captain gave the order and I'm going to carry it out so if anyone wants to fight that go to him or James but don't sit around wasting my damn time or someone else gonna end up with a broken nose," Matthias snapped which seemed to get their attention. He wasn't generally an angry person but the men were just getting on his last nerve and he just wanted to do what he had been told so that maybe. Just maybe he could go and do something other than give himself rope burns trying to teach these men to tie the simplest of knots.
Once he had their attention though it was easier because whether it was the realization that this was an order from the captain finally sinking in or the fear of a broken nose like the man from the night before they seemed more keen. Some were actually even managing to do some of the tougher knots he had to show them which was finally making Matthias feel like he was making some progress.
Finally when lunch came around his hands were sore and he didn't feel like eating once again and instead just stirred his spoon around in the soup that he had been brave enough to try. He had nearly gagged because if the taste and realized that it definitely wasn't cooked by Jack. Because it honestly tasted like pig swill; probably the result of Jack trying to teach people how to cook.
”Did you see any whales last night?"....”What’cha do to peeve William last night?” ....”The kid went and snitched on you to me.” .... ”Did you shoot the guys wedding proposal down or something? He seemed rather irked.”
Matthias gave a soft scoff and looked at Jack to see if he was joking. When he realized that he wasn't, or for the most part wasn't, he gave shrugged his shoulders. "He just was trying to poke answers from me when I didn't want to talk. William needs to take a hint though because it's confusing the crap out of me how he is suddenly looking after me like a lost dog. I've never even spoken to the guy before last night," he sighed as he pushed away his bowl. "And no. I didn't see any whales and that's a damn shame," he added after a few seconds as an attempt to lighten the mood though he wasn't so sure how effective it was.
Being congratulated for cooking better than five men however did bring a small genuine smile to his face and even a laugh at being asked if he had been able to teach the sailors Knotty things. The pun caught the blonde off guard and he actually had to get ahold of himself before shaking his head lightly.
"I think you've been at sea for too long my friend. You need to get laid and stop projecting on me, Jack," he laughed quietly before scratching his knee absentmindedly. He listened to Jack and Ollie banter back and forth for a few moments before he looked at the empty spot where Andy usually sat and when Jack mentioned it noticed that Edwin wasn't there as well. When Oswald stated that he was checking on Andy, Matthias found himself looking back at the man.
"Is there something wrong with him?" But he seemed to be a ignored but he let it pass mostly because he wasn't even sure he had spoken loud enough to be heard, as his eyes fell on the Captain's quarters. But his attention was drawn away once more by Jack asking more questions.
"I had some trouble getting them to sit still and actually pay attention but I might have threatened to punch someone," he laughed softly as he turned his hazel eyes onto the cook beside him once more. "But after that they started listening so I think I'm okay."
But hazel eyes followed Jack's gaze onto the older man as he left Andy's room with his saber in hand, the expression he saw on the old man's face showed that there was definitely something wrong and he wasn't to question again. To get some answers because now he was wondering if it was because of the night before or if it was something else. But the look on Edwin's face and the way he had spoken quietly with James before handing him the saber told him it was bad.
The rest of the day Matthias helped men with knots before going off to do other things. He with with Oswald for a little bit before he figured that he was getting overwhelmed and then went off to do something else that was more mundane and would keep his thoughts occupied for a while.
He noticed on more than one occasion James slipping into Andy's room and coming out with some weapon which made him dread the worst if the captain and made him worry.
When the night ended and everyone seemed to have fallen asleep Matthias slipped out of his hammock and made his way to the Captain's room. Knocking lightly before trying the door he was surprised that it opened. He paused for a moment before moving forward and standing by the bed where Andy was laying.
"Captain? Are you okay?" He asked softly but received no answer in return before he moved to sit down on the bed but was careful not to touch the red head. Mostly because of the way that they other had reacted when he had just laid an arm over him earlier in the day. "I've seen the way that Edwin is acting, and Jack, and James. They're worried about you.... I'm worried about you, I'm not mad at you anymore. I was at first because of what you said but I realize that I'm just being stupid," the blonde brought a hand up and rubbed the back of his neck. He felt stupid now that he was having a one sided conversation with a man he wasn't even sure was awake.
"Just know that I'm not mad at you and that people around here do care about you, Andy. I.... I think I know what you're going through, so if you ever feel up to it I'm willing to talk to you if you need to," the new blood sighed before standing up and walked away from the Captain's bed and closed the door behind him before pushing the door open. Taking one last fleeting look back at the man on the bed, Matthias turned away and returned back to his hammock for a fitful night's sleep.
__________________________

Day two:
The second day was just as difficult for Matthias as the last. After a morning of dealing with men who were struggling with simple knots he decided he wanted to do something else. So he made the poor decision to practice sword fighting with James. He used everything that he had been taught by Andy and used his left hand because it seemed more natural. But by the time he called it quits he was sore and had a bit of clothing tied around his forearm where James had knocked him with his sword. Though he wasn't completely sure it was an accident on his part. He had taken care of it himself rather than going to Oswald because the man had enough to deal with other than patching him up. Plus he had learned enough the day before to successfully bind it and get it to stop bleeding. So he went back to doing what he was doing before, but this time he more or less paid half attention to the men and wanted them to just try and succeed or fail on their own. It would do them some good.
He wandered over to where Butch was and watched as he and Jack pretended to be able to see the stars in the middle of the day. It brought a small smile to his face but he didn't go too close and decided to go back to where the other men were struggling with their ropes. With his hands still sore from the day before he didn't really put his hands on the rope much until Jack came over. He offered the cook a smile before moving to go and sit beside him. Matthias decided he wanted to show him how to do a constrictor knot since it was one of the simplest he knew but he watched as Jack was failing.
”So I figured out why James hates you.” ....”He thinks you’re one of those guys who pretends to be a sailor just to capture Andy.” ....”You aren’t; right?” .... ”I’m pretty sure that if you were, you would have done your deed.” .... ”But! Our captain’s still alive, sort of, so I think you’re okay. He said he’d lighten up once he trust you. Good luck with that one.” That got the blonde's attention and he face him a look that asked if the cook was being serious.
"No, I'm not trying to capture Andy... and I'm not pretending to be a sailor. I'm actually trying to earn my place here but it's gonna be hard if James thinks all I want to do is hurt the captain," Matthias sighed as he stood from where he was sitting and kicked at a length of rope that had been left laying on the ground. He had actually work his boots because he planned on running around doing a lot more than he had been the day before and he didn't want to risk getting a splinter in his heel or something. Reaching down and picking it up so it wouldn't be a hazard for someone to trip on, Matthias sighed and laid it across the banister. "I don't by the way.... Want to hurt the captain, I mean. I want to help him if anything. I've seen the way that you and everyone else has been acting about the way he is acting. If I can help, let me," he requested as hazel eyes fell on the cook once more.
But rather than pressing further on the request touched Jack's arm to give him a knowing look before walking away to go and help someone else that was struggling with what they were doing.
As the night went on he found it harder and harder to concentrate. He choked down the half edible food that the cook trainees had created before wandering off. When the sun went down all the way and the night became still Matthias found himself climbing the ratlines to sit in the crow's nest. He brought his legs close to his chest and wrapped his arms around his knees, placing his chin on them and looking out over the water. But the blond heard someone else climbing the ropes toward the crow's nest.
The blonde wasn't sure who he was excepting but he wasn't expecting the dark haired head of William to peak over the ledge and into the crow's nest. "Thought that I saw you sneaking up here," the man laughed before climbing the rest of the way into the crow's nest and sitting on the edge because there wasn't really room for the both of them because William was a good deal taller and larger than Matt.
"So now you're stalking me? Fantastic," Matthias stated in an irritated tone.
"I'm not stalking you, Bean Sprout. Just happened to notice you climbing," the answer received a scoff from Matthias and he turned his eyes back toward the sea, watching the moonlight shimmering off the waves. "Are you goin' to talk to me, or am I goin' to talk to myself?"
"What do you want, William? If you think that you're hoping for something between us it isn't going to happen. I'm not into you," Matthias almost growled as he turned cold eyes onto the other sailor.
"Not me but the captain? You'd rather want some asshole who wants nothing to do with you and isn't even fit to be a captain? He can't even count how many people died because he is convinced that three died and is too upset about it to even leave his quarters. He's weak." The male stated bluntly which caused Matthias to sit up quickly and glare at the man. Who did he think that he was? Matthias balled up his fist and shook his head heavily, taking in a deep breath.
"You ever talk poorly of the captain again and I will kill you myself. And for your information it's not because of him. I'm not into other men, anything you might have heard was just gossip," Matthias growled before shoving his way past the other sailor and climbed down the ropes and stormed off to the sleeping quarters. He didn't want to lie to William but maybe if he did it would get the guy to leave him alone, plus the last thing he wanted was more than just Andy knowing that he even remotely was okay with being with another man.
In a spur of the moment decision he walked past his hammock and toward the Captain's quarters. Opening the door after knocking for a moment again like the night before, Matt walked in and sat on the floor beside Andy's bed.
"I know you probably want to be alone, Andy, but you don't need to be. So I'm going to just sit in here for a little bit. If you want me out just let me know," Matthias half mumbled to Andy and half mumbled to himself.
The blonde sat with his knees to his chest again and laid his head against his knees even though he wasn't completely comfortable. He felt a little better just sitting there even though the red head didn't talk back and just seemed like he was wanting to be alone. He understood the feeling but he also knew that it probably wasn't good to be alone because it never was when he was. The blonde gave a small sigh and stayed in that position by the bed for long time, just sitting in silence, listening to the wood creak and Andy breathe. Part of it was comforting but another part just made him sad again. The blonde moved his face so that it was buried in the knees of his pants.
"Has he said anything or is he still ignoring every word said to him? the sudden, softly spoken voice made Matthias snap his head up so fast it actually made his neck hurt and him dizzy. He was surprised to see Edwin standing in the doorway and Matthias instantly averted his eyes and picked at the fabric of his trousers.
"Ignoring. Figured he might not want it but needed company," the blonde answered in an equally whispered tone before raising to his feet. His legs stiff from the locked position he had been in for who knows how long.
"Let's leave him be, Bean Sprout. Anne needs to rest. Maybe sleep with find him tonight," the older man suggested which Matthias agreed to hesitantly. He followed the man out of the room and watched as the old man closed the door.
"I'm sorry for just going in and keeping him company. I-" Matthias started to explain but was cut off by a withered hand being raised to silence him.
"I know."
__________________________

Day three:
Matthias didn't want to get out of his hammock the next morning. He was stiff and tired for the third day in a row and he just didn't want to do anything. But he forced himself up and dressed apart from his boots again and walked barefoot back up the stairs. He had a little bit of a late start but his movements were slow and groggy but he was happy to see that Jack was spending more time with him. He enjoyed the man's company but he could tell that he was upset. Worried. Hell everyone that was close friends of Andy was, like they were suddenly waiting for the worst news possible.
Matthias watched in boredom as Jack somehow managed to get his hands trapped in his hands between the rope in a knot as he questioned about him and William.
"He's barking up the wrong tree and if he keeps it up he's gonna end up in a bad spot," Matthias mumbled as he leaned forward and untrapped the Cook's hands. He really wasn't in the mood for the teasing but he was trying his hardest not to snap at the cook because Jack definitely didn't deserve it.

The rest of the day passed in a unintelligible blur that seemed to pass just far too quickly. When dinner came around Matthias couldn't help the face that he made at the charred ball of whatever that was in his bowl. He looked up when he heard the sounds coming from the Captain's quarters and watched as Jack bolted from his place to take the captain food. The man definitely needed to eat something and he commended Jack on his diligence to the captain when some of the crew seemed to have given up.
It took a little bit but when Matthias heard the cook yell for Edwin. There was a moment where the blonde wanted to go and help the two men with whatever was going on but he felt like he would be unwelcome. He waited impaitently for whatever was going to happen and almost breathed a sigh of relief when he saw them pulling Andy from the room. The man looked like hell but he couldn't help but feel better when the man was sitting in his usual spot. That was until Jack started bombarding him with questions and he watched as Andy got agitated. Matthias knew instantly that it was a bad idea and to just leave him alone but he didn't have the chance to say anything as the redhead suddenly yelled and threw his lute.
Hazel eyes widened as many of the men who were still sitting at the table jumped from surprise and stared at Andy startled. Matthias however was just watching as Andy curled into himself and feeling like he just wanted to protect the red head. He took a deep breath and looked at Edwin when he began playing the instrument. Matthias watched in silence as Andy seemed to relax and listened as the music filled the air. A lot of the men made their way away from the table but Matthias moved away from his seat and settled into a seat next to Andy. Resting his hands on his his own legs he kept his voice low and bent down so that he could look Andy in the face.
"What do you want, Andy? The hell with what they want for you, what do you want?" he questioned softly as he reached slowly and gently grabbed the red head's hand, light enough to let the other know that he could pull away at any moment with no problem. But he almost wanted to cry when he heard the whispered answer. That Andy didn't want to be captain. Taking a soft breath and didn't let it show that it bothered him and stood from where he was sitting. Pulling very lightly on the man's hand and offered him a small smile. "Come walk with me? You don't have to, just an offer," he asked softly as he looked down at the man that was now looking at him.
Andy needed fresh air after being cooped up in his room for the past few days but he knew better that to just order the man around. He was giving him options out of everything and keeping everything slow and gentle so that the captain wouldn't implode into himself again. Matthias offered Andy another smile when the captain stood from his seat and started walking with him, his hand still gripped very lightly on the red head's hand. He walked slowly, ignoring the surprised looks from the others that remained in the area, and lead Andy up the stairs. He allowed Andy to set the pace and walked just as slow or fast as the man wanted. Once he was up on deck Matt have a silent sigh of relief.
Remembering something that Edwin had said a while back about Andy and his shark, and that he and Andy had even spoken of him, Matt lead the way toward the side of ship near the bow and lead him to the side near the banister. A smile formed on his face when he saw a large dorsal fin broke the water below them.
"Looks like someone missed you too," Matt smiled acting as if everything was as before, knowing Andy wouldn't want to be babied or treated like there was something wrong. "What was is name again? Little bittle.... No I feel like that's wrong but I remember that it rhymed," he chuckled and looked at the red head for a moment knowing he had purposely botched the shark's name even though he knew very well what it was. He was freaked out by the whole situation but he wanted Andy to get better not worse so he was playing off his own experiences. He didn't like when people would freak out or ignore him when he was at a low so he was doing the exact opposite.
He was being there for the captain but also acting like nothing was wrong while also playing careful to the man's senses. He kept his hand holding Andy's but keeping his hold light so Andy didn't think he was being held captive. He ran his thumb lightly over the back of the other man's hand as he watched the shark doing loops and laps below them.
"Why'd you name him that?" He wanted to get the other talking, get him telling a story and his thoughts away from anything that was haunting him. Plus talking to him about something that he actually wanted and loved would bring a little light into his life again, or at least that was how it was for the blonde.

( Example cat for RP EX )
Rainpaw got up from lapping the cold water, the looked at how far the river went and wondered if any cat has ever seen the end of it, he pondered it for a moment before he heart the sound of his mentor calling him, he flicked his ear before he turned around the sound of the wind slowly dying down as he entered the damp dank medicine cat den, a chill ran down his spine from the cold air inside the den, his mentor nodded to the herbs and he quickly trotted over to sort the unorganised piles of herbs, his mentor was rather messy in his mind but he knew that he really wanted to help his clan, so it was worth it to him.

*This can be longer or shorter I don't mind!~*

RP Sample:
Calliope knew she should have stayed close and paid attention, now she was all turned around and lost. "It's my own fault for getting distracted by some dumb bug," she grumbled, annoyed at herself. She was just curious about a weird bug that was flying by, now she couldn’t find a single trace of her brother anywhere! She groaned, trying to remember which way he was heading beforehand. She spent a few minutes roaming around the area in an attempt to catch his scent but to no avail. Surely he’d come back for her, right?

After another five or so minutes of being alone in the forest, she finally saw him a bit away by some bushes, obviously in no rush to go anywhere or to find his sister. She ran to him, greeting him enthusiastically and apologizing for getting lost. She rubbed against Attis and purred, but he seemed unbothered, barely even greeting her back. He almost appeared disappointed that she had found her way back to him. That surely couldn’t be it! Calliope thought, ignoring it and telling herself that she was just reading him wrong.

Hello there! :)
I'm using this excerpt from a roleplay I was in a little while back called The Last Brigade. It's from the point of view of a Smilodon (saber-toothed cat), but if you'd like me to do a different roleplay sample, let me know <3

Sample

A massive black lion padded in the hunting part of the Pride's territory, planning with determination to catch a more than decent meal for some saber-toothed cat in his pride. Sure, it was morning and, being the deputy, he was supposed to organize patrols and the like once everyone was awake, but he most definitely could hunt now, when the sun hadn't risen and the rest of the pride was sleeping in their dens. Besides, when was hunting a bad or unfortunate thing? Food was always needed, and extra food was especially good. Plus, he had woken up earlier than most, as was a normal thing for the stoic male, and he had decided to go hunting, as was also normal. It was typically his daily routine, and pretty much everyone in the Pride knew he did this.

The sun hadn't fully risen yet, so he still had some time to hunt before he began to head back and fully start the day. The wind gently ruffling his short fur on his magnificent figure, Hades padded across the grassy floor, in the part of the territory where the Clan had most typically hunted. That was, until the humans starting coming. Now the hunters usually hunted in the forest. And sniffing and observing the ground all in front of him, he noticed a little area of grass that was dented, seeming to be where a large animal had laid down and he sniffed the area, identifying the animal as a giant beaver. Ears now perked, he began moving forward, following the scent, though this time his steps weren't as hard and he made sure he made no noise as he progressed. As soon as he heard shuffling, he immediately crouched to the ground, moving forward slowly with his tail hovering above the ground as to avoid making noise, soon spotting the animal. It was a large, female giant beaver, a plump one too, which would make her a bit easier to hunt as she would be slower, and it meant she was tastier. Stalking the beast, he got as close as he could, stopping when he couldn't go farther as to avoid being seen. Then he charged and, pouncing, his claws dug into the hard, firm back of his prey to trap the beaver before his teeth latched onto its neck, biting incredibly hard with a bite force stronger than that of an average sabertooth tiger's. The beaver rolled and crushed Hades under her, causing the brute to grunt before he moved away. He growled fiercely, watching the beaver's slower movements as it was losing a lot of blood from his bite. He snarled before charging, biting at it. During the fight, the large rodent managed to bite his left leg, its large saber-like teeth, causing the smilodon to yowl in pain. This just made Hades enraged, snarling loudly, and he noticed the fainting-like movements of the beaver and took his chance. He charged forward in a limping manner and dug his long and incredibly sharp sabers into the throat of the big beast. In a matter of moments, the massive feline had killed the weaker animal with his powerful bite.

Seeing the sun get higher in the sky, Hdes grabbed his kill before beginning to limp back to camp with the animal dragging behind him, knowing it would be wise to be there when the morning fully began. Not really any feline was awake at the moment, so he'd most likely get back there when the Pride was about to awake, or when they did. Soon enough, the deputy arrived back home and entered his Pride's camp, his walk showing a bit of pain as the beaver's teeth had sunk pretty deep into his leg, causing a large gash that was bleeding pretty heavily at that moment. The incredibly massive ex-rogue padded into the camp, dragging the large, female beaver behind him with his powerful jaws and legs. Intimidating yellow orbs scanned the camp as the few that were awake shuffled that morning in the midst of the camp. The brute soon set the animal down on the ground before him, atop the prey pile, with a grunt as he panted slight, his massive jaws parting for him to yawn as he stood there, his terrifying sharp teeth revealed. He had an extraordinary figure. He was incredibly large with firm, rock-hard muscles under his soft, short fur, his legs not lanky at all, as would be expected with his height, due to the muscles. His saber-teeth were knife-sharp and very long. And his claws were normal-lengthed but incrediby sharp. Hades was mainly pitch black, with a bit of gray and some tiny white speckles on the lower half of his body. He had many scars from all the battles he'd fought in his life, not taking away any of the attractiveness of the male, just adding to his already respectable and terrifying aura. His eyes were an intimidating, striking, and yet captivating yellow that could easily disturb and scare some animal as he stared into one's eyes as if staring into their soul.

Letting out a huff, the colossal smilodon picked up a rather plump minorcan giant lagomorph from the prey pile, taking it over just a few feet from the pile itself and dropping it on the ground. He preferred to take smaller portions of prey for himself, even though he actually needed bigger prey because of his size, because he wanted the others, especially queens and elders, to get the larger more delicious prey. With a grunt, the wounded deputy collapsed onto his rump, grunting quietly, a pained one, though he tried his hardest not to show it. He didn't want anyone worrying about him. He could manage. Sighing, he bent over and began eating the prey, intimidating and yellow eyes observing the camp around him.

Chaos broke out upon the frozen lake as a invading clan met upon a border patrol. A tide of fangs and claws crashed into each other as if it were mimicking the icy torrents beneath every cat's paws. Hissing, Larkecho threw off a scrappy young warrior and slashed at him furiously. The attacker drew back, yowling in pain, blood splattered his muzzle. Spitting with rage, the warrior tom lunged towards Larkecho again, claws outstretched. She only just managed to roll out the way, with the tom landing painfully on the chilling ice next to her. Using her claws to anchor herself, she spun to face her opponent, breathing heavily. The tom snarled at her, muscles bunching up as if to leap again. Unexpectedly, he froze, ears perking up as sudden terror overwrote his features. Larkecho paused, momentarily confused.

Then she heard it.
The faint but distinct sound of cracking over the roar of battling cats.

"Everyone off the ice!" She cried out, fear gripping at her limbs. A veil of silence befell the battlefield as cats stared at each other in alarm.

Then, panic ensued.

The tom she had been fighting bolted away and out of sight behind a mess of panicking warriors. Cats scattered across lake, booking it towards any shred of solid ground. A wide eyed apprentice stood in the center of it all, frozen in fear before a stocky warrior ran off with her by the scuff. The cracking was louder now, enough to drown Larkecho's senses. She ran as fast as she could towards land. But it wasn't enough. Without warning, the ice beneath her paws gave away, and she was plunged into the freezing water. The seconds past by her in a blur, with flailing paws and burning lungs. So cold that she burned. Her terror escalated when she realized that she was being dragged away by the water's currents. With her head barely above water, surrounded by ice chunks, she tried to call out. As pointless as it was. There was just so much pressure on her chest and so much chaos on the surface her voice might as well just be another whisper of the wind.

The hot desert sun beat down relentlessly on Adderbite's pelt, and although the small group of Dryclan cats had only been on the move for a couple of hours, he felt as if he had been walking for two days. He had been injured during the flood, cutting his shoulder on a sharp rock. The medicine cat had managed to patch him up, and the bleeding had stopped, but the wound still ached, and he had to take smaller, careful steps to make sure that he didn't rip the cobweb open. He could tell that he was slowing down the rest of the group, and he bit down on his tongue in frustration. He had never felt so useless in his life. He didn't have much time to tell himself off, though, because he soon heard the voice of one of his clanmates. "Look, the canyon!"

The group stopped and Adderbite followed his clanmates' gaze over to what had once been the canyon, but was now a huge river. As he looked at it, a sudden wave of nausea hit the tom-cat, realizing how many bodies of Dryclan cats must be lying in the water, and how close he had come to being one of them. 'Is Treepelt there?' Suddenly he found himself unable to look at the canyon anymore; he couldn't bear the thought of his long-time friend lying at the bottom of the river. He had seen Treepelt being swept away right before his very eyes, and he hadn't been able to do anything to help him. He wished that he could have done something, anything to save him. Then, as if the universe could read his thoughts, he heard a familiar voice calling his name. At first he thought it was his tired mind playing tricks on him, but only a second later the voice came again, this time louder. Adderbite immediately turned, seeking out the source of the voice, and surely enough, there he was.

Treepelt's fur looked ruffled, and he was walking with a limp, but he was alive, nonetheless. "Treepelt!" He yelled, forcing his aching muscles into a run towards his long-time friend, too overcome with joy to notice the angry expression on the other cat's face, "I was convinced you were dead! I'm so-" He was suddenly cut off by a ferocious yowl, "You abandoned me!", and Adderbite came to an abrupt stop, freezing in confusion. It was only when Treepelt leaped at him with unsheathed claws that he finally realized what was happening, and he tried to move out of the way. But he was too slow to dodge it completely, and he soon felt claws rake across his right side. He recoiled, half in pain and half in disbelief that his closest friend had hurt him. He spun around to face Treepelt, who was probably going to aim for another blow as soon as he got his footing. All of Adderbite's instincts screamed at him to attack before the other cat recovered, to catch him off guard; but he was so exhausted, and, try as he might, he couldn't bring himself to turn on his friend. "Treepelt, stop!" He pleaded, "I don't want to hurt you!"

[A prompt I wrote to apply for this roleplay. I'm flexible, and I can write more or less than this. It all depends on the people I'm roleplaying with :) ]
