Please tell me if I need to move this to a different board! My suggestion DOES NOT INVOLVE A BASE SUGGESTION, and is just as follows: Please add more Black Solid Special bases to the game. The number of Black Countershaded Special bases: 12, with 2 more listed as unreleased on the Wikidot The number of Black Solid Special bases: 6, with none more listed as unreleased on the Wikidot That's DOUBLE the amount of special bases, and only growing. There are as many Black Solid Special bases TOTAL as there are in one group of Black Countershaded Special (Black Countershaded Medium Special, specifically). You can also compare the 'quality' of the bases, as well: that same Black Countershaded group has Arctic, two Gem bases, and an event breed-only base, all with excellent detail, while the only base with that level of detail (with this being defined as 'ticking', spots, etc) in ANY Black Solid Special group is Cairngorm, which is fairly hard to obtain. So, in general, this is a suggestion both to other members making new base suggestions, and to the staff: Please add more Black Solid Special bases! |

Solid Special is lacking in quite a few areas :( Honestly, even in some suggestions, I see a lot of the Countershaded bases could probably work in Solid as well Supported! Yep! Source We could use some Solid Special applicators, so I'm glad Nuummite's there. A friend of mine is holding out for a Red Light Solid Special applicator base, haha 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, I want to add in the comments here: I ABSOLUTELY support more Solids in every base group. My post only talks about Black Solid, primarily because I'm a Black Solid breeder, and because I feel like the disparity between Black Countershaded and Black Solid is the largest and easiest to immediately point out. I would eventually like Black groups to stop being introduced so much, with the few released being put into Black Solid as the focus shifts to other groups. There are generally a lot of issues that I have with the allocation of new bases and the way that Black is prioritized in general, and I definitely agree that Gold needs a LOT more love (considering that I love Fulvous, but can't justify breeding it because Gold is seen as so unsavory :[ ) (COUGHS. Looking at Penumbra, which is probably going to go into Black Countershaded, when there were AWESOME Cream and Gold bases available in that poll.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

@fortmax That is what I am thinking too! Penumbra winning was disappointing, because the goldens shown in the suggestions were much better and more beautiful than the gold chosen to the poll. I myself breed for golden solids (king is Topaz) and love them, even when they are not popular enough. I wish we get more solids and goldens in near future So I supported with my both accounts :D 0 players like this post! Like? |

@The Doctor, thank you! And, I guess with Penumbra, like...it looks too similar to existing black bases for me. Even when beautiful Golden and Cream bases are pitted against Black, Black ends up being chosen. I think I might edit my suggestion later to 'make more Solid bases', to be honest. 0 players like this post! Like? |
