YESSSSSSSSS. (XD) Sorry we need an app. That can work without network. If we could have an app that we could use without network would be entirely helpful, I mean, I've had problems when my network is down.

I only use my iPhone to go on LioDen for two reasons. One, I rarely have decent connection on my laptop and two, I just don’t USE my laptop. My phone is much more convenient. An app for LioDen for Android and iOS would be AWESOME! The mobile web version is ok and I’ve gotten used to it. But I just... don’t really like it.

It doesn't even have to be a full app! I play World of Warcraft and they have a companion APP that lets you complete things in game while you're away, it's obviously not the full game because that would be impossible and every time I see someone mention it that's the argument, it's always "No, it would be impossible to put the whole game in an app." and considering all the files and textures and the way the art works I totally see that but the mobile version of the game is tedious AF to use.

We just need a companion app that allows us to hunt lionesses, patrol our males, feed our lions, and MAYBE explore but it could be a text only version. You could even view trades and clans as well, I don't see a reason why they can't make a companion app, we want to spend more time on the game and while the mobile version exists I personally hate using it, using a website like that on your phone is annoying as all heck.

We don't need the whole game in it's own app, we need a better way to complete tasks while we're away from our computers. Either that or for the love of god make the mobile version of the game less terrible.

Personally I like to go online and log in I don't have room for another app and it would suck if I couldn't get on lioden from my phone.. So I don't agree

Full support! I play both using my laptop and my phone, and when I'm out of the house, I need to use my phone so I can send my huntresses out. It would be so greatly helpful to those Lioden players on the move.

In theory I’d love an app because I’m almost always on LD on a tablet or phone, rather than full-size computer. However, from my (very limited) understanding of app design, it really is not a simple or cheap thing to do to create an app for a game like this.

Firstly as I understand it, it would need to be built differently for multiple platforms (iOS, Android, etc) and versions/updates within those platforms. Then you’d need it to be responsive across all the many different types and sizes of tablets, phones, etc. It isn’t just a simple one size fits all.

Then there’s the expense - it’s not necessarily the same skill set as other coding, so probably it would require more staff and more money. Even if all that was financially viable it would be taking that time and resources away from progress and updates to the main site.

Honestly for a small, independently owned and run game like this with a relatively small userbase I don’t think it would or should really be a priority, even if it was theoretically do-able :(

I took a long break from Lioden and when I came back I looked to see if there was an app and was disappointed that there wasn't, Like I said we don't even need the WHOLE game in an app just a companion app that lets us do some things like hunting and paroling and maybe feeding while we're away. I was honestly very surprised they hadn't made any sort of app, most games I play have a app of some sort by now, so I fully expected to find one when I searched.

The entire game would be impossible and expensive but making an app that has specific features we could use like hunting and patrolling wouldn't be nearly that difficult.

That’s surprising, I’ve really never played any browser-based sim or any game at all of a similar type/size to LD that has had an official app.

I guess I just don’t see an app as a priority compared to other aspects of the game, when LD depends on such a small team of coders and staff, who are already pushed to keep up to date with everything.
