Gravel crunches underneath your feet as you pad up the steep mountain path, a seemingly endlessly tall cliff on one side and a dead drop into the crashing ocean below on the other. Hesitating at the end of the path, you peer through the tangle of greenery covering the cave mouth with a skeptical gaze. Faint sounds ring out behind the curtain of vines, laughter and bidding and shouts. Brushing past the leafy blanket and into the cavern, you realize that it's much bigger than expected, and filled with lions.

Towards the back is a small, round pool, water dripping down from overhanging stalactites. Strangely, it glows a faint, every-shifting greenish blue. On the right side of the space, a couple lions mill about, inspecting the wyverns tied to stalagmites. Along the left wall is a large, flat rock, on which a multi-colored felis stands, shouting numbers at the crowd gathered below him. When the king sees you, his jasper eyes flash with amusement.

Auction House Rules:
1. Please only bid what you have
2. Retracting bids is greatly frowned upon, but I accept that people change their minds sometimes. A word of caution, though; if you do this more than twice, you will be banned from the auctions.
3. Be courteous to each other when bidding, if someone outbids you, oh well. Please do not whine on this thread, or pm me about it because life sucks and so-and-so is being mean and you wanted it *sooo* bad.
4. I am not responsible if you do not like your Wyvern, please do not complain about it because each of them is a beautiful creature in it's own right. There is always the option to send it to the Eternal Abyss, or simply resell it in the Sales Cavern.
5. Items are accepted! I love items, they're wonderful. Please pm me about bidding with items and my pricing on them. Gb/sb bids will always take priority, though. Explanation of currency from items and their usage in this thread will be provided further down.
6. Once you buy a wyvern, it's yours! The creature is yours to do whatever you see fit to, make art of it, use it in a rp, whatever you would like! But the art remains mine, and there is absolutely no stealing allowed.
7. You must head over to the How to Raise a Wyvern thread to purchase a den in the den mountains after winning an auction, before your eggs will hatch.
8. I do not accept buyouts after bidding has started. Weird rule, I know. I just feel that it is unfair to the people bidding to suddenly *plink* you're out of a chance.

How Does This Work?
All eggs (minus ones from breedings) will begin at 1 gb or 1400 sb. Once starting bid is placed, each auction will run for 3 days. At rollover on the last day, I will check to see who placed the highest bid. They will, therefore, win the auction.
Before you can own a wyvern, you must go over to the dens thread and purchase a den. You can, of course, bid on egg auctions without first buying a den, as there is no guarantee of you winning the auction for the egg. The thread can be found at the bottom of this one.
Eggs in the auction house are wonderful, because they hatch instantly! As soon as payment is sent to me for the egg, it will hatch and you will get a brand new wyvern!
Eggs from breedings will not contain new patterns, they will only have a chance to pass what patterns the parents had. They will begin at 500sb. Any auction house egg not resulting from a breeding has a chance of introducing a new pattern to the species!

Wyvern Tokens can be used anywhere, from bidding on auctions to creating a custom wyvern of your own! It can also be used to shop for things like accessories and potions, as well as breeding your lovely creatures.
