I am dead serious.

I am tired of my art not selling for one. And two, I am desperate for GB because I want to get really, really, really good human art for my OC Dominic. And I want to find ways other than selling lions or praying for valuable apps to sell.

If you say it will not sell for GB, give me a valid reason. Not because you hate me, or hate my style or because I use a mouse. I want to get better, I want to sell my art for GB. I'll give you my newest piece as an example.

If I seem angry I apologize, I'm more frustrated than angry right now.

Tiger Example Flat, since I can't shade worth beans. Only effects are the eyes.

I do art. I used to do it with my mouse, and then I invested in a tablet - great if you can afford it.

Now, before I start on your art, I'd like to bring up some things I've seen you doing.

That's on the thread of a friend of mine, which is why I know about it. She offered you constructive criticism and you never answered her.
I've also seen, on a different thread, where you were talking about now no one ever gives you good constructive crit, but the example you gave (that the person said your lines might be too thick) was . . . constructive criticism.

Not saying this is how you are, or anything, but it seems like you don't want to accept any kind of criticism on your art, which, to be frank, is not good yet. You have a ton of room for improvement, which is great.

To start - proportions. References are an artist's best friend, so long as you're not just copying the picture or downright tracing. You'll probably want to work on your faces, it seems, maybe do a study of just faces and facial expressions. It would also look more natural if the other hind leg were visible (though I feel the struggle of legs/feet. I used to draw all of my people with their hands behind their backs/otherwise hidden so i didn't have to draw them). A tip for proportions (that i forget all the time actually which is why my art tends to look weird) is to flip the lineart on the y axis while you're working on it; it may look ok normally and then not from the other side, which it should.

Your lines look wobbly to me, as well. I understand you're working with a mouse (like really, REALLY if you can afford it, i recommend a drawing tablet. Mine's a wacom, got it for like $80, and i've had it for like five years with no problems at all; a wonderful investment). What art program are you working with? I know firealpaca has correction and it may help, but it looks like that piece was done in paint tbh, besides the transparency.

And I can see where you've been using the fill tool (esp. where it's darker like the bottom of that paw) bc of the white edges. If you insist on using it, click it a few times; it usually gets rid of that, and if it doesn't you can always go around the edge with the color.

Speaking of that paw, and everywhere else you used black, that's not wise if your lines are black. Using a shade of dark grey is better, just like using a very very light shade of another color is wise instead of using blank white.

Now let's talk about shading. I used to be terrified of shading. I'm not anymore, because I learned literally the simplest way to do it. If you're using an art program that lets you have layers with individual transparency (most art programs, like I said, i used firealpaca, it's free, easy, and does that) you can do it, even with a mouse. What you do is you determine your light source (drawing where it is can help) and then you take a dark dark grey and make a new layer, and put that grey everywhere shading should be (i'm not quite sure how to explain that, but in general if there's something between it and your light source, shade there. for instance, on that tiger, if your light was coming from the top right area, your grey would be under the belly area, on the inside of the arm that's turned a bit, on the back/bottom of the front arm, on the inside part of that back haunch, under the muzzle, on the back foot, and under that shoulder i reckon. if it doesn't look right you can always erase it) and then if you want blend it out a little with the blur tool, i do that sometimes but not always, and then lower the opacity on only that layer, so that you can control how dark the shadows are.

So, overall, no, I wouldn't pay anything for your art. You need a lot more practice, and getting frustrated with people not buying it is not the way to go; it just makes you seem like one of those people that thinks their art is great and can't improve in any way, when in fact even the best artists have things they could improve upon.

Rereading your post before I posted this, and I saw where you said that apparently you using a mouse is not a valid reason to not sell your art for GB. It . . . is, though, if you can't do art that looks like it was done with a tablet. To me, it looks like a lot of your issues stem from not having a tablet, and that's completely understandable especially if you can't afford one (they have gotten pricier recently imo), but it's also a reason why people wouldn't buy your art, especially for GB.

I think Ny hit everything I could think of saying on the head at least. Your art is not terrible just in that still needs practice phase. Some of the things Ny mentioned took me years to figure out on my own because I was too chicken to ask for critique.

Something that helped me go from this to this is honestly watching streams seeing how other artist use the art program that I'm using to do what they do I picked up on tricks and it helped my art alot. Can't forget just drawing for yourself though maybe just stick to one thing such as fur or headshots till you feel you got a good grasp on them.

A tablet and (if your using paint) a good art program could help TONS. I suggest Firealpaca I used it for years after my computer would always crash my Photoshop. I now use Clip studio which is lovely and doesn't bog down my computer like PS. You can get it on sale for as low as 15$ at certain times of the year just got to wait for a good percentage off sale.

But to address your question on would I buy your art for GB? I can say maybe but only if a had spare gb which I don't usually and most players looking for art from what I've seen either have the gb to spend on really HQ art or a few to spare that usually go to adoptables or artist underselling themselves to the point I cringe.
