17th October, 2019: I am leaving these existing links up, however I am going to start working through some results in this thread (more recent to be honest, because a lot of lions are repped or dead now) and compiling them all into one spreadsheet and then categorized spreadsheets after that. No idea how much i've spent, probably best not to know xD I scry'd a heap of my own lions earlier today, I tried all sort of things from NCL's to Colorbombs to Clones of my kings, and nothing. I have ok luck with the older rosettes, I just hope i get some soft rosettes it's such a nice mark. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The new rosette marks will appear at the bottom of the markings in all instances, I think "random" appearing marks are coded to do so :) Even a slot 3 random rosette will appear at the bottom of the set. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Latest scry opacities added to the spreadsheet. Looks like Chatoyant Margay (slot 13 which was replaced by Doubloon Soft Rosette) does scry in at 40% opacity. None of the lioness markings scryed in near that opacity range, so I'm picking the marking slot was provided by the king by way of the Chatoyant Margay - but what marking combined with what to override the slot?  0 players like this post! cub markings slot 1: infernal glaze slot 4: feline 7 white slot 8: ardor inverted brindle slot 9: feline 5 ebony slot 10: under white 4 slot 12: ivory bottom slot 14: hyena stripes heavy onyx slot 15: hyena stripes scarce white slot 16: ivory vesture slot 13: doubloon rosette king markings not included on cub slot 2: arctic smoke slot 3: feline 6 ebony Slot 5: Maroon Pelage (100%) Slot 6: Ardor Inverted Brindle (100%) Slot 7: Onyx Smudge (47%) Slot 9: Onyx Lace (100%) Slot 11: Nacre Carving (100%) Slot 13: Chatoyant Margay (100%) Slot 16: Ivory Vesture (100%) Slot 17: Classic Half Front (68%) lioness markings not on cub Slot 6: Mottled Rosette (93%) Slot 10: White Marbled Unders (48%) So with the above information, I'm going to assume one of the missing markings is the partner to the replaced marking. I'm going to pair White Marbled Unders, since it has a proven record of producing the rosettes, and I'm going to ship it with Chatoyant Margay, which was the replaced slot. First attempt at my theory. 75 ATTEMPTS This pairing King Lioness  So perhaps my theory is somewhere near correct? I just don't understand the slot jumping.. Any ideas, folks? it also scryed within the opacity range of the combined markings. #794116427868 scryed 100 times with White Marbled Unders to Chatoyant Feline on the same king with no luck 83 ATTEMPTS King Lioness  Extremely random slot, but scrying right for at least one of those markings to drop it in a random slot, since the markings are each 100% and a scry from full opacity usually generates 40 - 60% range on an empty slot/unshared. 0 players like this post! I decided to test your theory, But using lions with very few markings. So i grabbed This Guy (White Soft Unders) and This Girl (Onyx Margay) and first scry gave me this.  All i can say is Wow xD 0 players like this post! Like? |

LOL! Oh my gosh x'D! Well, let us continue down this wayward path. I shall assume after five or more reasonably successful scry attempts (with different lions), that we can announce that as one of the methods. I'm sure there are more than one. I'm thinking it is an unders marked combined with a 'special' tbh; ie, White Marbled Unders x Maroon Pelage, as with the first Ginger girl? Royal Belly (or Bone Marbled Unders?) x Onyx Okapi with the Ebony? Of course, this is just generalization - I'll need to do a lot more scrying to confirm. If possible, are you able to scry a different king or a different lioness to each pairing, so the results differ from the original pairing? :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
