I've been wanting a layout on Lioden where the colors aren't so bright, but the Night theme is still fairly light compared to what I'd expected it to be. I'd love if there was a theme where the body and main colors of the site were all very dark, like what sites such as Youtube and Twitter have for their Night Mode options. It would be easier on the eyes for those playing Lioden at night, and some might just prefer a darker layout over the comparatively light colors of all the current site themes :) Maybe a name like Midnight or just Dark would work? |

Perhaps it could be coded in dyslexia friendly colours also? High contrast etc? ![]() |

Personally, no matter how dark it is the computer is still gonna emit light to keep you awake ^^ ![]() |

I don't exactly think this suggestion is about letting people sleep while lioden is open on their phone/computer/ect, Tiffee. Its just to make a side theme that is easier for some people to read. Some people have an easier time reading high contrast layouts, such as YouTube's "Nightmode" (white text on a dark gray background) I know I have an easier time with it. ![]() Edited on 13/05/18 @ 04:36:20 by Ladia (#29140) |

Although I would just prefer Night, it wouldn't hurt to add this in. Though I don't know how white text on a dark background would feel, since I feel like it would hurt to focus on the white text. ![]() |

I think what Bailey is trying to suggest, @Tiffee is that the blue light (which keeps you awake) is removed from the site layout, and a more friendly, colour-neutral version is used instead. ![]() |

I really support this! I prefer sites that have layouts that tend to have a dark grey background with an off-white text (never use pure white on a darker background, yikes) as it's easier on my eyes for me to read. White most websites that have a lighter layout I have to squint a lot to read the text. Even with glasses on. Though I don't often use my glasses sitting at a computer since it makes it blurrier for me. ![]() |

Really support, Its just so much easier to read on youtube and stuff, not sure what it is about the contrast but it makes it easier on my eyes. ![]() |

Agree with this as I get visual migraines when reading text on sites that are too bright! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
