Cypresspaw nodded his head and turned to follow Maplesong, but paused to look towards the leaders. His ears perked up, as he overheard them talking. They were just decided on where to hold the meeting from though, so Cypressfall turned back to Maplesong, Applepaw, and Mintwhisker. Seeing that they seemed to be talking amongst themselves, the medicine cat was about to turn away. He stopped though, as he noticed how on edge Applepaw seemed.
He understood the apprentice's agitation, he was quite young and this was the very first gathering between the clans. Still, a young agitated cat was probably all it took to break this gatherings piece, if he became too nervous. Letting out a sigh and then shaking his head, Cypressfall plastered a smile onto his face. Prancing forward, he stopped right behind the young tom. "And I'm Cypressfall, Aetherclan's medicine cat, well one of them at least", the young tom said dipping his head, as he introduced himself. Leaning over, he nipped Applepaw on the back of the ear, with a chuckle. "No need to be so tens, Applepaw", he said, with a chuckle. "Loosen up a bit, have some fun", the medicine cat added, bumping the apprentice's hip with his shoulder.
"How have things been in Terraclan? I know that Oakdapple.... I know, so if there are any injured or sick cats, please let me know. I know that we are from different clans, but I care more about the wellbeing of cats then the honer of the clans", Cypressfall told Mintwhisker, looking back up at the Terraclan warrior.

Cypressfall gave Applepaw a kind smile and reassuring nod, the apprentice seemed a bit better now. The medicine cat let out an internal sigh, he was never good at giving advice. His ear twitched, as he suddenly heard a voice over everyone else's. Looking over, he spotted the leaders. They'd decided to hold the gathering from the stump after all, it seemed. It was a good spot, the young medecine cat thought. Tapping Applepaw on his shoulder with his tail and dipping his head to Mintwhisker, the tom moved to sit a bit closer.
He looked up at the leaders, expectantly, and cheered with the other cats when Risingstorm was announced to be Terraclan's new deputy. It was a good choice, Cypressfall thought at least, looking to the tom. He seemed surprised, the medicine cat had to stifle little laugh. It seemed Birchstar was a bit of a funny leader. Looking up again, his gaze went to Owlstar, as the Aetherclan spoke. The dark tabby tom looked with happiness to Maplesong, she'd really deserved her warrior name. The medecine cat then quickly looked back to Owlstar, as the leader praised his work with the injured cats. Rubynose had done most of the work, Cypressfall thought, looking down at his paws.
After this though, Cypressfall's tail twitched with irritation. He'd been having thoughts and if he really wanted to put them into action, now was the time. Clearing his throat, the tom stood. He'd grown, no longer was a scared, small, half blind, and clumsy apprentice. He was a full grown cat now, over the past moon he'd had quite a growth spurt actually.
"Birchstar", Cypressfall called the leader's name out clear and strong, it probably/hopefully got everyone's attention. "I have heard that Terraclan no longer has a medicine cat, I believe no clan should ever be without a cat who knows how to care for the ill. So, if you would allow it, I would like to ade Terraclan", the young medecine cat announced. He'd not spoken about this with Owlstar, he and Rubynose had decided that- in the end- it was medecine cat business, "Owlstar, Aetherclan does not need two medicine cats, it has Rubynose, and if they do need help then I'm sure Starclan will provide", Cypressfall said, looking to his leader now. He was certain that he'd probably get yelled at, for doing this, but he did not care. If cats needed him, then he'd do whatever he could.

Cypressfall saw the shocked expression in Birchstar's face, he'd caught the leader by complete surprise. As his focus widend, he noticed that everyone was staring at him. The tom wanted to run, he hated being the center of everyone's attention. The dark tabby tom dug his claws into the ground, to root himself to the spot. The eyes he could feel boring into the back of his head the most, where Maplesong's. As Birchstar spoke, a sigh of relief escaped him, good Terraclan's new leader seemed far more reasonable to Terrastar. Taking the opportunity, Cypressfall looked back, to Maplesong. She looked shocked and... and... hurt?
Why did she look so hurt, it was not like....? Oh no, did they all think? Cypressfall swallowed a rising lump down. He'd not been clear enough, this was the one thing Rubynose had warned him about. He was so stupid, looking to his paws, the medicine cat scolded himself. He needed to clear this up, if he didn't, Owlstar would definitely refuse.
"Owl...", the tom's voice epicly failed. Taking a second, he briskly cleared it, "I am sorry, Birchstar, but I am not interested in joining Terraclan. I still have kin and friends in Aetherclan, that I care about, ", here he took a second to look behind him, too Maplesong and gave her a smile. Turning back, he gazed up at the leaders again, "So I do not wish to leave them indefinitely. Do not get me wrong, it seems that Terraclan is far.... em kinder now, but I would like to only stay until I have completed training Meadowpaw", Cypressfall explained, hoping he'd clearfield some things.
