So, I am aware that other users have made suggestions like this one, however though, I think they have gotten it all wrong, to me, erythrism isn't as they have pictured it, to me it is a red/brown colouration, no pink, purple or full red. We already have the melanism and achromia lions, why don't we introduce this one too, it's natural and most people hate the brown/golden bases but a mutation? Now that would be something to look forward to, Right?

To me, a reddish brown colour would be perfect to represent the mutation. White, Black and Brown mutations, It just adds up correctly. I hope this gets implemented Into the game, If you have any questions or suggestions then feel free to comment!

Please tell me why you like or dislike the idea, it would be great help!

Update 1:

I gave up on making the mutation colour due to some issues I'm experiencing, I need someone to help so if you can, please DM me It will be greatly appreciated!

Update 2:

some friends of mine have suggested that maybe the mutation should not cover the markings entirely, and maybe it should just make markings look a faint red, what do you think?

Updade 3:

I have worked on some ideas and I shall present them to you all, do take note however that the colours will be very off and unofficial. I tried to work with as many colours as possible hoping that at least one would be the right red/brown colour.

Update 4:

made by the wonderful Entity #107570

Opaque:

Slightly transparent:

Update 5:

"erythrism is probably going to be a reddish coloring overlaying the base+marks so there's no point in making it anything other than almost entirely flatcolor. This is intended to be on the more realistic side, and although I couldn't find any credible examples of erythric lions to use when making the mockup, what the mutation will be in the end basically only calls for a flatcolor. Anything more fancy wouldn't really work as a mutation; rather, it would just be a base color. I hope this makes sense I don't know if I explained it very well." -Entity

Update 6:

I have been a bit ill recently and haven't had the time to work on this but I'm really hoping we get this mutation into the game.

Support but I'm not the biggest fan of the mockup considering it's only a single solid color which makes it look bland ^^;;

Here's some different examples. You can find tigers and leopards on their. Looking at them, I think Tigons and Leopons should have their own variation of it, seeing as the mutation does seem to work differently on the different big cats

Also, here is a possible lion. I don't think they ever confirmed if he was one or not, though.

@Lily tigons and leopons wouldn't have this. (No double mutations)

I'd love Ery lions! But erys are more of brown-orange-reddish mix I'd say.

Hello there!

As this suggestion is already on our Mutation Suggestions Masterpost, which means it has already been accepted, is planned, or has a high likely hood of being added to the game, we will be locking this thread at this time. c:
