Hm, it didn't strike me that way. How about (minor changes)?: "You smirk and strut toward her, and start boasting about your... assets. She listens patiently, but, when you ask if she'd like to experience these for herself, tells you politely that she's not interested. Ah, well. She left you something for good luck!" (+1-2 HS) It makes "assets" more up-to-interpretation and has her not explicitly seeming 100% disinterested till the end. So, like, "our" offer seems less out-of-place  0 players like this post! I dunno, and maybe I'm just an asshole in real life and don't realize it, but I can't see how that's worse than: "A lion approaches you, their tail swaying slowly in an almost alluring way. @Berenos Sure! Glad we could work to make it better. I do see the issue with us just walking up to a lioness and her thwapping us in the face. yguhbkl Mood, @Bezth... Still would of supported for an asexual lioness ngl, but hell yeah support. Feb is one of my least favorite events due to all the flirting (flirting just makes me really uncomfortable, not an embarrassed way but a really unpleasant feeling way), so the idea of an npc not wanting to be flirted with is just great ^^ 0 players like this post! I only don’t support because I’d rather have an encounter that fits the theme of feb, rather than one who doesn’t. We only get a few new encounters a year, and I’d rather have a new encounter with a flirty tigerbro or a leopon (or something else of that caliber) as it’s something we wouldn’t get to see anytime else. Sure, getting swarmed by horny dudes and ladies can get tiring after a few months, but that’s what feb is all about. There are encounters with a few lions who are not interested in you specifically, at least. I don’t hate the idea, just stating why I don’t support it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I get what you were trying to do with this idea, but I think it would work better in the context of respecting "no" for an answer and the importance of consent. Otherwise, if she's the only disinterested lioness in the game, it implies that someone who turns down advances has to be aromantic. Just because a lioness finds kings attractive doesn't mean she always wants to be flirted with at the moment. Girls can turn down unwanted advances because they have the right to say no, not necessarily because of their sexuality. I think there should be some flavor text that touches on this subject, while remaining age-appropriate, of course. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It doesn't say anywhere that there's a romanticism involved for that reason. It's up for peoples' own interpretation. She could be straight/bi/pan/poly/etc and just not into you, monogamous & already taken, aromantic, a lesbian, asexual, etc 0 players like this post! I rather this idea, Though i think it might also be nice to have a disinterested male too though, similar to your female idea or maybe one who is more down in the dumps whose spirits your lion can lift by just being a friend.
