I said previously what I went through and why I see things that way yet you called me on bullshit you said your views previously and honestly if there's something I learned is to not trust anyone EVER, and I didn't felt a ounce of sincere on these words you said to me. Ah, about the “religion being given priority” thing? We have canonical gay-themed decor/events, but no religiously-centered ones! I think it’s more about “if we make it too obvious that these are gay lions we might get banned in places that it’s illegal to be gay” kind of thing for the devs?

I had thought that that comment was in reference to (a) society generally and (b) an underlying reason as to why LGBTQ+ stuff always "has to be open to interpretation." The "if we make it too obvious that these are gay lions we might get banned in places that it’s illegal to be gay" thing still applies to this; it's not the devs' faults, it's outer society's, and it sucks.

I agree that it sucks to have it literally be illegal. If that’s your religion, whatever, you do you, just as long as it doesn’t physically harm anyone else, but they’ve made it into actual law in some places. But yeah it’s not the devs’ fault at all, and I don’t blame them from teetering on the edge of canon gays or not


But let’s be real Nirah is 100% gay and everytime I see him in this event my mood gets infinitely better

My current headcannon for my king is that (since he was born a female and I sex changed him) he was furious that he couldn’t be heir so he used dark magic to physically change himself. In this case our views clash, we're both vocal, that's all. Both stepped on each other's toes and honestly I've dealt with enough backstabbing and backhanded apologies to not be willing to accept an apology, but that's on me
