So I'm loving this event, and am constantly getting into that ol' arena to duke it out- but after enough battles, it's becoming rather apparent that the system is set to... Well, spam you.

Every time you enter a tournament, you receive a DM which not only takes up space in the inbox (especially when you have 15+ of them, for instance), but becomes rather irritating during site navigation, since you can only dismiss it by going to your inbox. This should be a banner, or announcement, as all we need is a temporary reminder which can, most importantly, be dismissed (similarly to the Rollover Reward notice, for instance). And not clog up our DMs with unnecessary spam.

Touching on that: Challenge DMs. It's one thing to receive them when you're online and active, but they remain in your notifications even if you're away. Again, a simple banner or minor notification would suffice, but they should have some sort of expiry time, where after say, 20 minutes, it auto-deletes. There's no reason for this spam, really, as all it does is tell people something happened that a) ultimately has no effect on them and b) may have happened hours before, and thus they can't do anything about it anyway.

Other than these matters of quality of play/convenience, the event is going amazingly so far, and much love to the devs for all your work!
