And its HQ so, I'm sure you could sell headshots like that for Gb. I think 8gb is the lowest you could go, and 12gb would be a good median.

No way is art that great worth only 12 GB. That’s, at the very least, worth 30+ GB.

I didn't mean to undervalue their art, im trying to give a good logical price point. See, more lioden players are willing to spend 12gb on HQ art in general than 30gb. If they priced headshots at 30gb, a good 60% of the people here would probably say "man, I'd totally commission them, but I just don't have the gb".

So its not that their art isn't good enough for 30gb(it well exceeds that tbh^^) its just that Lioden has a supply-and-demand thing going on. Veing able to commission 20 ppl who are able to pay 12gb is more profitable than commissioning the 5 or 6 who can pay 30gb.

Heck Iv'e only got 7gb and thats reserved for finishing my lion's customization and stat replacement. Even though I'd love to get a headshot of my king, I just cant afford it. But in the near future, i might easily get 12gb, but acquiring 30gb at one time without buying it is difficult.

Well, Lioden has a huge issue with undervalued art and people wanting quality art that could take a long time for much less than its worth, so I was simply stating that the worth of the art is 30+ GB.

30GB is literally FIFTEEN usd. If you think fifteen dollars is ”too much” for art of this quality, perhaps you should re-evaluate how you value artists and the hard work they put into creating pieces.

That being said, the example given is quite lovely, and I agree that 30+gb is reasonable for similar works.

I suppose it depends more on whether the peices are being sold for gb or for actual usd. Which wasn't specified.30gb is alot in that case, because those of us(which is alot) who get gb via other methods besides buying it with actual money would have a hard time parting with the 30gb they had to earn through grinding for event apps to sell or breeding special bases etc.
But, if they want to sell it for usd, there are other sites they could try advertising on alongside Lioden to get out there. At that point, 15$ would be reasonable.

Also, no im not denying the work they put in, im an artist too, i've done a few commissions before(not on Lioden, but in IRL) but my advice at the core is that by selling it at 12gb at a m e d i an, they would be able to reach out to alot more of the player base, for gb ofcourse. Again, not saying its not worth more than 12gb, im trying to get mah boi over here alot of constant comissioners.
Plus, we haven t even gotten to what kinds of work they'll produce~

Like for example someone would make a flat color bust cheaper than a shaded fullbody. So that ties into pricing too.

Pretty much fullbody and yeah, Just for a flat should be a lower cost. Shading is what makes it stand out though.
And nah I really don't mind. I've been out of touch with this stuff for quite some time. Plus I like hearing all the opinions! You guys are really sweet. Also I could probably only do 3 commissions a week. This kind of art is hard to make and takes time so. :3
