Hello, and welcome to my art contest! I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile now, but wasn't quite sure how I wanted to go about setting up prizes or characters to choose from. That said, I've gone ahead and settled on a batch of options for you guys to choose from, providing variation in species to give a bit more freedom of choice to those of you who may be stronger at certain things over others! So let's get to the goods! PRIZES: First Place: $100 Second Place: $50 Third Place: $25 Runner up rewards: 4-10th Place: Art Swaps! 11th-20th Place: Colored Sketch Headshots! 21st+ Places: Headshot Sketches! Runner up prizes may shift in number based on how many entries are received! END DATE: This will be the final deadline. CONTEST RULES 1. No tracing/heavy referencing/art theft/bases - I do not tolerate art theft in any way and I do check. If you are caught submitting unoriginal work, you will be immediately disqualified and any potential reward will go to your runner up. - This includes bases and free to use lineart. You are welcome to collab with a friend and split rewards, you are not welcome to use premade bases. All work must be original. If you are caught using bases or premade lineart, you will be immediately disqualified and any potential reward will go to your runner up. 2. Once art is submitted it means I have permission to share it around for my characters. - All credit will remain your own, please let me know if there is a particular social account you would like linked for TH uploads! 3. October 1st is the hard deadline, please try to have all entries in by then. - I am happy to make case by case exceptions, please ask if something comes up and you need a small extension. 4. Multiple entries per person are allowed - However keep in mind you may only qualify for one of the 3 top prizes. That said, you can place multiple times for runner up rewards! 5. Art will be judged by effort and dedication. - While skill may influence my decisions, you as a person do not. I will be looking at each piece and fairly judging the effort put into it (: 6. You are welcome to post your submissions to your own socials, always. It's you work -- share it with the world! 7. Have fun! Ask if you have questions about a character -- I am happy to oblige. THINGS TO NOTE: - All art subjects are welcome -- be it digital, traditional, plush or doll making, etc, etc. If you are making a physical piece for submission, please discuss with me about shipping first! Rad! Adaleah is fair skinned, thin. She has a soft face and lovely baby blues. Tends to die her hair pink or a mix of pink or blonde and keeps it straigh or wavy. She's a youtuber by day and an erotic dancer at her cousin's club by night. She also runs with his gang. And is a runner, sp though lithe she has the musculature of one. She doesn't mark her body with much ink, and she tends to dress in shorts and tanks or skinny jeans, nothing super out there, though she does love her band tees and controversial shirt designs. She loves her eyeliner and eyeshadow but tends to keep her lips and face natural otherwise. ----- Rex stands somewhat tall at about 6'1. He's blind so his glances may seem off kilter, but this was caused by spinal damage, so his eyes aren't cloudy. He's covered in tattoos head to toes. You can pretty much bs these as I haven't sat down and worked out specifics for most of them so feel free to get creative. maybe I'll keep some ideas :D Feature wise Rex's tattoos trace all the way up to his neck and throat, painting his shoulders as well. He's got a throat piece that is a blooming rose on one side, trailing into a rose at full bloom about the center, and then slowly shifting into a rose at decay on the right side -- the full circle of life as a gradient along the petals basically. There's probably a feather in there somewhere, and an arrow. He's lean but toned, with a slightly square chin and defined cheekbones that bring out a nicely shaped jaw. He tends to wear his hair a bit tousled and about ear length, with the front often swept to one side, framing his face a bit. He can get a bit stubbly above and below the lip, though he tends to keep himself clean shaven. His hair is a deep chocolate brown, and he has sectoral heterochromia in both eyes, leaving them a scatter of brown and blue. All things considered, blind and all tatted up, Rex tries to dress to impress in the work place (he's aj FBI agent). He's usually rather business casual in the office. A nice shirt and jeans, though he can sport a real nice suit when need be. He also tends to be sporting a mic and headset on the job. Outside of the workplace Rex is punk, pop and rock trash, and dresses accordingly. Dark or tattered jeans, band tees, plaid long sleeves or a flashy leather jacket and a charming smile to boot. He has a sight cane, thiugh he relies on his seeing eye dog more, which is a big ol blue great dane named Dakota -------- Sixx is one of my newer babs so I don't have much on him right now! He has long dark hair, several inches past his shoulders. He's pretty average in height and likes to wear crew necks and jeans. Baby blue eyes (god I have a problem) and a soft face with a sharp narrow jaw. He tends to where feathers and chains in his ears and is rather...uncultured. Because of his age (he was born in 666bc) and his species (he's been trapped in his animal form for most of those years) he's at a total loss of how modern life works. He loves hostess snacks and tends to get into odd situations because he can't grasp how the modern world functions. Lots fascinates and unsettles him. 0 players like this post!
