I have been considering making an adoptable thread for a while now and figured I could pump out a few adoptables and see how it goes. And so here I am! Hopefully all goes well and you could even find a creature you enjoy c: I keep all non-watermarked designs in a sta.sh. Upon payment I will PM you the link to your adoptable. Upon receiving an adoptable, you may name it and declare its gender if you please. Also, feel free to check out my Deviant Art! All of the art in this post has been created by me, both line art and the designs. What are Sparkle Creatures? Sparkle creatures are cat-dog like beings with a variety of traits of three different rarities: common, uncommon, and rare. They can be found in any color, giving them a part of their name due to their often bright colors: Sparkle. Creatures look similar to Slush here! Each one is unique and all currently owned sparkle creatures can be found in the database! This is Nii's character! Creatures also age. Through explore encounters, you may find younglings! They will grow into creatures upon becoming twelve days old since the time they were claimed. You can check out youngling aging dates here!! Baby Roofus! Younglings do not have all of their markings grown in. Their ears are curled and their tails are just puffballs. Younglings do not display their adult traits and features since those grow in, though they are cute! Mutations Discovered Void Eyes Vampirism Rules 1. Please be respectful! 2. Exploring Items "In need of a little something to help your chances in explore? I guess this is the place to go!" Adventurer's Guide "This book here has a lot of useful information for exploring!" Allows for a switch from one location to another within a single zone without a fee. Cost: 50 Travel Ticket "Don't you use these for trains or something?" Allows for a switch from one zone to another without a fee as long as the zone entry fees are the same. Cost: 100 Ball "I remember playing with these when I was a youngling!" Increases the chance of successfully taming a creature found in explore. Cost: 100 Map "I wonder if there's treasure involved! It's too bad I run a shop. I can't leave it unattended to explore." Guides you to an item. Cost: 500 Catnip "Oh this stuff is whack- I love it. Carry this around and you'll find creatures more often!" Increases the chance of encountering a creature during explore. Cost: 500 Treat "Oh we creatures love treats! I love treats. You love treats. My mom loves treats!" Automatically tames a creature in explore. Cost: 500 Jar of Fireflies "Aren't fireflies just the prettiest?" Increases the chance of attracting uncommon creatures. Cost: 500 Stardust "Reminds me of the stars that come out at night. Very glow-ey." Increases the chance of attracting rare creatures. Cost: 1 Breeding Items "Interested in having younglings? I have stuff for that!" Doctor's Note "Yikes. I hate the doctor's. Or the vet's. Whatever you want to call it." Tells you how many younglings your creatures are having in their litter. Cost: 50 Love Charm "Yeah this... uhm. It lets your creatures have younglings!" Allows two creatures to breed. Cost: 500 Tonic of Fertility "Yeah my neighbor drank this and she had four younglings... on top of her ten already born younglings. She has a lot of babies." Increases the chance of having a larger litter. Cost: 500 Paint Pallet "Ah, painting is pretty fun, wouldn't you agree?" Guarentees one youngling will have the exact colors of a chosen parent. Cost: 500 Magnifying Glass "This thing helps you get a reaaaal close look at things!" Guarentees one trait from a chosen parent to be passed on to a random youngling from a litter. Cost: 500 Strawberry "Mmm... these are so good- what? I'm not eating it, I'm just... making sure it's fresh!" Increases the chance of rarer traits passing on to a youngling. Cost: 1000 Camera "I think I have some puppy pictures from this thing laying around..." Transfers all traits from a chosen parent to a youngling in a litter. Cost: 2 Grapes "Delicious grapes! Since we're not like.. actual dogs, we can eat these just fine." Guarantees a litter of four younglings. Cost: 2 Strange Goo "So like I found this out in the trash... I don't really think it's safe?" Increases the chance for a mutation. Cost: 3 Misc. Items "Here's some random stuff I found in my grandma's attic. I don't know where they came from but maybe you'll have some use for them?" Mirror of Insight "Want to know your youngling's traits early? I guess try this, it should cure your curiosities!" Unlocks youngling traits early in the database. Cost: 100 Blueberry "Why are fruits so delicious?" Cuts a breeding cooldown from seven days to three. Cost: 300 Stopwatch "I think I might be late for something but I'm not sure what..." Lowers the aging time for a youngling from twelve days to six. Cost: 300 Aging Bone "My mom never did this for me but if you want to age your youngling into an adult early, just give this to them!" Ages a youngling into an adult before the 12 day aging mark. Cost: 1 Accessories For a variety of prices, accessories in the wardrobe may be bought to spice up your creature a little! All accessories can come in the colors of your choosing. Please fill out the purchase form to buy an accessory. Keep in mind that once an asset is placed on your creature, it is permanent. You cannot remove an accessory, though if you wish to draw your creature without them, you are more than welcome to! All items purchased will be stored in the bank and can be used anytime. Breeding Two sparkle creatures, regardless of gender, can create a litter of younglings together with a love charm! Love charms can be purchased in the shop. If you are interested in breeding your creatures, you may post for a litter in the thread with the use of a love charm. You can purchase it in the same post that you request a litter in. How does breeding work? Sparkle creatures can have litters of up to four younglings, though you are more likely to get one or two younglings per litter. After a breeding, your creatures will be placed on a cooldown list. They will be taken off after seven days. Litters will be born the day after a request to breed has been approved. You can breed your creature with another person's creature, however I need the consent of both creature owners before approving a request where two people are involved. Along with that, it must be made clear that there is no guarantee that you will have more than one youngling and therefore you may or may not be able to split up the litter. Please work out an agreement with the other creature's owner before placing a request with another person involved! Only the person initiating the request will need a love charm. Public Studs Public studs are free to breed with your own creatures so long as you have a love charm! If you are interested in putting your creature up for studding, just send me a PM and I will set you up. Studs do not have to face cooldowns when breeding with another person's creature through studding. All images are clickable, linking you to the stud's information in the database! Transgender#007 Galaxy#042 Exploring (CLOSED) Beyond the shelter, the shop, and the auction house, many excting places in the Beyond are just waiting to be explored! Who knows? Maybe you'll find some items to take home, or even a creature of your own! The starting fee to begin exploring depends on the zone's initial fee. Moving from one location in a zone to another is 50 each. Moving from one zone to another requires yet another initial fee. Zones contain locations which can be viewed via spoiler toggle. Some locations are a secret, they're just waiting to be discovered! If you claim a creature in explore, you will be asked to send a payment of 500 before your creature is then revealed in the thread. If you encounter an item, it's a small fee of 20 to continue exploring. The item will be added under your name in the item bank. Town 100 Plaza Bustling with activity, there are many little shops to browse and many interesting items to pick up... Street It seems the streets are rather busy. There are a lot of cars and people. You wonder if there's anywhere quiet around... Neighborhood A friendly neighborhood awaits you! You might even come across some tame beasts here. ??? Undiscovered territory ??? Undiscovered territory ??? Undiscovered territory Beach 100 Sands All around you can find sand. Sometimes you can even spot little hermit crabs shuffling about. Beach grasses Interesting little plants! You could have sworn you heard something around here, though. Undiscovered territory Ocean LOCKED You don't really have a way to get out here yet. Forest 100 Forest Floor With every step you take, leaf litter crunches under your feet. Way to be inconspicous. Large Oak Who knew a tree could be so large? This has got to be the biggest tree in the whole forest! You wonder what could be hiding here. River Seems this river runs somewhere. How curious! Maybe you could check it out. Waterfall Lake A beautiful waterfall rests here, a peaceful environment for many travelers. ??? Undiscovered territory ??? Undiscovered territory ??? Undiscovered territory Mountain LOCKED You're not quite sure what lays within these lands. Maybe someday you'll find out? Pool of the Stars LOCKED A place only rumored to exist. Customs Interested in building your own creature? Well now you can! The base price for a custom is 2 and that includes any common trait! Uncommon traits are an additional 1, by spending this you'll be able to add as many uncommon traits to your creature as desired. Rare traits are an additional 2, allowing you to add as many rare traits to your creature as you want as well. If you are not sure of what kind of markings you would like on your custom, you can let me design it for you so long as you provide me colors or a theme you would like me to work with. You are free to leave slots as "up to you" or something along the line if you have at least one marking in mind but nothing else. You have as many slots as you want to your disposal. For example, one marking would be stripes. Another marking would be a white stripe going along the creature's back. If you need help with this, let me know and I will assist you! Okay! So, I just finished a bunch of orders and I will be working on my base some more over the course of this week and add some new features :heart:
I will not be continuing explore encounters for now, though if I have more free time in the future I just might c:
Auctions will be closed until further notice as well
However, I will keep doing customs and item purchases as well as breeding so feel free to play around with that and I will post whenever I put up another adoptable in the shelter uwu
Oh, yes, and I just added a shoulder bag to the wardobe! Feel free to request accessories and traits! I am more than willing to work on those now c:
