The very first July Raffle Lioness needs to ALWAYS be the new July base.

As long as we get it, I don't particularly mind, but I think it would've been fun to kick off with the new base.

My interpretation of this was:

Tier 2 was chosen because it ends at 12 LD Time and they wanted a filler bc the tier just opened.
Picking Leonids after the 12 switch over would give ample opportunity for everyone to see the tier is opened and can enter for it.

Its not supposed to be 'Chosen' it's supposed to be completely random and if drops ever 12 hours thats more than enough time for people to see it and get in on it.

I meant for this first raffle, not any others.
If it does actually end at 12, that only gave about 3-4 hours between it unlocking and switching.

Hm.. it is supposed to be random, I know, but honestly you never know these days.

The raffle for the Wish Upon A Falling Star runs for 12 hours from the time it has opened. They are not on a fixed 12am/12pm schedule.

Yeah I don't know how to feel about this suggestion anymore.
While I like leonids, I also love celestial and having the old bases still cycle.

Lowering it to maybe 75/25 for tier 1 vs 2 is all I can think of at this point

Or maybe, my friend suggested, two raffles ongoing.
One for older bases and one for the new base. New base raffle lasts longer than the older base cycle.
Edit: I'd be willing to make a suggestion for that.

I'd be down for that. Would be extra crispy of Demiurge was included in that "new" cycle, but that ship has sailed unfortunately.

i suppose i just personally don't see the necessity? other than people are anxious to get the new base right away, but you do have the entire month to get your hands on a leonid. in a couple of months they'll be all over the place, regardless of whether it came out today or in a week.
