I recently found an old Google Document lying around with a couple RP plots that I had planned but never got around to. I've been craving a good RP for a while now, but things have been going kind of slow on the Lioden roleplay community recently, so I wanted to check that enough people are interested in these plots before going ahead and committing myself fully to them.

There are two plots that I'm most interested in, and they'd both be small group RPs, with limited spots (around 4-6 people for each), though both of them could be modified slightly to be 1x1s, if somebody would be interested in that. :)

I've posted a summary of both of the plots below:

Lord of the Rings
(In-depth knowledge of the books/films is not necessary, since the events of this RP take place long after the events of the movie and all the characters will entirely be OCs, but a general knowledge of the plot would be helpful.)

It’s been many generations since the destruction of the One Ring, and the different races of the free-folk have dispersed. The Dwarves have retreated further into the mountains, expanding their kingdoms deeper underground, whilst the Hobbits are rarely heard from, still seemingly content spending their lives in the Shire. The race of Men dominates most of the land, and, no longer having to face the threat of Sauron, have expanded their cities considerably. The Kingdom of Gondor stands as the greatest of them all, and the Queen who rules there has claim over the most territory in Middle-Earth. The Men of Gondor live in comfort and peace, still singing of the great tales of Frodo and the Ring. Elves, thought long gone, were becoming tales of the past…

That was, until entire fleets of them were spotted sailing on the horizon, making straight for Middle-Earth. An entire city-full of them returned, embarking on a great migration to Mirkwood, where they began restoration of the great Elven-Kingdom that was once there. They remained in the woods for several months, and for a great while there was only rare sightings of them at the borders of the forest, flitting in-between trees. So when eventually a messenger was sent to Gondor carrying the tidings of Tháron - the King of the mysterious city of Elves - many people gathered around with great curiosity, hoping to get a clue as to what the reason for the return of the Elves was.

As the Queen of Gondor would find out, unfortunately, this reason was by no means a joyous one. Tháron had received messages from his ancestors, warning him that Middle Earth would soon be facing a danger, one they would need the aid of the Elves in overcoming. After all the years of peace, there is movement in the long-dormant Mount Doom, movement which threatens to once again awake an evil which could put an end to the free folk.

Now, three representatives from each race - Men and Elves - selected by the rulers of their respective Kingdoms, are to meet with the new King of Mirkwood to discuss the next course of action. What they decide to do could very well determine the future of Middle-Earth…

No. of People Required: 3/6

Post-Apocalyptic Dog RP
Months have passed since the humans have fled the city. They left overnight, speeding off in their vehicles and taking all of their belongings with them. Everything except for their pets. The land became a dog-eat-dog territory, with once-precious pets fighting tooth and claw for their lives. For the first few months there was nothing but bloodshed, the sounds of vicious fights ringing around every corner. Now, however, things are beginning to balance out. The weakest of the pets left in the city have died off, leaving the rest to pick up the pieces and attempt to pull their lives back together. Different packs have formed, laying claim to separate parts of the city and managing to live in relative peace.

But whispers are spreading throughout the community - rumours of a quarantine facility just over the state border, where the humans are still alive. A small group of dogs, former pets, have gathered, the rumours sparking a hope that their owners may still be out there somewhere.

They aim to journey to this facility together and reunite with their families, but they face a long, perilous road ahead of them. They’ll have to cross through parts of the city claimed by vicious packs, and forests where wild animals have been thriving long before the humans left. Even if they manage to evade their predators, threats such as fatigue and starvation still lurk menacingly in every shadow. With the stakes so high, will the dogs band together and try to get the entire group to the facility alive? Or will the dangers get to them first, driving the dogs to turn on themselves, sacrificing others in the group to ensure their own survival?

No. of People Required: 6/6 (We have more than enough people now! :) )

If any of these ideas caught your attention, just reply to this post with which plot(s) you like and whether you'd prefer a group or a 1x1.
