PlotlineMany generations ago, the four packs lived in peace in the comforts of their established territories, before disaster struck. Slowly, more and more humans crept in to study them and visit their home, but with them they brought filth and fire. After a horribly dry season, the land burst into flames, driving the four packs away from home and far away from each other, where they all lived in isolation. Now, almost 50 years later, the ancestors have spoken: it is time to return. The packs have returned to what their ancestors had originally inhabited for countless years, with the humans completely gone. The forest has regrown, but the relationships that the packs once had with each other...will tensions grow poor? Will they chase each other from their home? Or will all be as right as rain? Sitka // Outsider // Location: Unspecified Border // Mentions: Rovaana, Open She missed her own parents, she really did. However, they also lacked that mother-father-daughter bond that so many happy families appeared to have in the nursery at the time being. They were so focused on prepping her to rise to power that she ended up missing out on most of the fun 'n games that most pups had. Well, save for her times with...well, never mind. It was all behind her now, didn't matter a bit. The past was set in stone, but the future would be whatever she chose to mold it as. She flicked an ear our of irritation when the buzzing, blood-sucking monster decided to pester her. With a swift lunge, she managed to snap at the annoying creation and hopefully end its "career" as a nuisance. Jinco was a brat, hmmm? But a good friend? Boy, could she relate to that as well. "I had some friends." She decided after several moments of silent thought, uninterested of speaking his name, in fear that she might miraculously summon him. "My parents weren't around long, they had me at a relatively old age. They just...groomed me for responsibility right from the start. I guess that's why it repulsed me and forced me to seek out adventure for myself." She wouldn't hesitate to admit that living the life of a loner was...lonely. Sarge // Divum Beta // Location: Divum Camp // Mentions: Peter, Open Gleaming optics darted to the side, spotting a familiar dark blur in the corner of his eyes. The obsidian-coated ones always reminded him of Ace, save for his unique silver ticking that complimented the tips of his hairs. Sarge would've liked to say that his son inherited his good looks, but the ex-alpha was aware that his good years were...well, pretty much over. A single ear twitched at his fellow Divum's comment about fur growing back and shedding and whatnot. He huffed under his breath, grimacing at the few scars that still laced his body from the unfortunate events earlier, during Noctis' move. "Be grateful that when you shed, it still grows back." He wasn't quite in his senior-senior years yet, but he was aging, as they all did. However, he found wisdom in his experience, and even if he got a little arrogant about it from time to time, he did have a fair point about being a half decent leader. Noctis thrived under his command, up until it was time to leave their original home. But on that note, he was really, really hoping he wouldn't have a bald butt forever. It was rather embarrassing for a humble and stoic guy like himself. Sarge understood that his fur would thin out eventually, but those scars- they made him look like he had mange. So degrading! Even if he did still look kind of cool and tough. ![]() Edited on 03/09/19 @ 19:50:04 by Argus [Clean Mandarin] (#66829) |

Peter|Divum Commander|Divum Camp|Mentions Sarge, Open "If I remember correeeeectly," the wolf rumbled out as he gave himself a good stretch, "yours does as well. We aren't that far apart in age, cupcake. It just doesnt grow back... in all spots." Peter was blessed to have so little scars. They either healed without a problem or weren't easily seen. Of course it did help that he groomed himself, or had someone else do it for him, on just about a daily basis. "Nothing wrong with that. The ladies do enjoy a man with scars, especially when they come with stories." ![]() |

Uda | Divum | Warrior | Location: Divum Territory | Mentions: Peter, Sarge Upon entering Divum camp, a small patch of meadowsweet caught the female's eye and she paused for a moment to gather a bundle for the healer's den. Clutching the herb in her jaws, two figures conversing in the midst of camp drew Uda's attention and she gave them a nod of recognition as she hurried on her way past to go tuck her findings away in their proper place. "Good day, gentlemen." She spoke to the two as she emerged from the den, having properly stored the herb away for future use by their healer. Her pale coat shone blindingly in the sun and she stopped to smooth an unruly patch of fur on her chest, awaiting a response from the two males. Her gaze lingers on the dens. Though the sky was clear the air smelled of rain and she was less than interested in getting caught outside when the clouds arrived to shower them in cold water. ![]() |

Sarge // Divum Beta // Location: Divum Camp // Mentions: Peter, Uda, Open There was an agonizingly wistful gleam in the sun-colored eyes of the beta, and he immediately glanced off to make the sorrow less obvious. "Aye, stories. That they do." His alpha female had loved stories, not so much the scars. The mother to his pups, his will to live and to protect the pack. He missed her with every ounce of his being, but it had been her time, whether he saw it as fair or not. At least she hadn't suffered through death, and instead had gone swiftly with little suffering. "Although I think my days of 'wooing' are over now." Sarge grumbled under his breath, proceeding to nibble between his toes once more. He glimpsed up briefly at Uda in between bites as she greeted them, the beta offering her a twitch of his ear out of acknowledgement, at least until he finished this toe-scratching. "Morning, Uda." The serious-natured wolf greeted in his typical low and broody tone of voice. ![]() |

Peter|Divum Commander|Divum Camp|Mentions Sarge & Uda, Open "Good morning, darling~" Peter almost managed to pur out. He rather liked Uda the most. Close to both his and Sarge's age, but still a good fighter. Kind when she wants to be and ready to bite a ear of when she has to. A great combination and Peter, to a degree, respected her. A degree. She was not safe from his semi-flirtatious ways or criticism during training. No one ever was. "Uda, darling, tell Sarge here he could get any ole fox he wanted. Perhaps even a badger, better personality match don't you think? Angry and... more angry." ![]() |

Maiah||Divum||Young Warrior||Location: Divum Territory, Camp||Mentions: (Indirectly) Peter, Sarge, Uda She wasn't quite too certain how far she had gone out, still within Divum territory though. She doubted she'd ever make it out into unclaimed territory, it was simply just too far for her to go alone in her mind. With a semi-dissappinted sigh, she decided to not test her luck and go home. She turned around and started her way back to camp, keeping her nose and ears out for any pack mates, and even the alpha. Now that she thought about it, she hadn't seen Doratu all that often, but summing it up to being busy with alpha duties seemed the most logical and most reasonable explanation. Putting in an extra stride than last time, she was able to clear the river with a rather rough landing, she'd rather take the wet feet over landing like that again. She rolled her left shoulder a few times, it was sore but she'd live. After what seemed like a much sooner time than she'd expected, she made her way back into camp. After the river the journey was more so her mindlessly walking than it was trying to make it back to camp, she was grateful that her legs took her here over getting lost though. She had been nursing her shoulder a bit, and it felt somewhat better now "must've just pulled it" giving a quick comforting lick to her chest she was back in camp. Since she had left more pack mates had appeared, Peter, their...interesting to say commander, Sarge, the wolf that still made her fur stand on end sometimes, and Uda, a warrior like Maiah, but with eyes brown like the earth that blessed them each day. Each one was great in their own ways, and had more than earned the respect of their pack mates. ![]() Edited on 03/09/19 @ 20:39:53 by κ³κ²κ· κ·κ²κ·κ·κ (#137051) |

Uda | Divum | Warrior | Location: Divum Territory | Mentions: Peter, Sarge, Maiah Uda lets out a good-natured sigh and shakes her head at the commander's words, stretching her limbs out as she settles down to to rest once more, "We're far too old to be daydreaming about romance, Peter." She responds with a chuckle breaking her words as she speaks. She relaxes, head resting on her front paws as she hums thoughtfully. "Sargent is more than capable of deciding what's best for him, we aren't all interested in the 'catch of the day'." She adds with a bit more of a teasing tone to her voice. Movement catches her eye and she turns to get a better look at the figure entering camp, "Hello, Maiah." She notes the young warrior with a good-willed thump of her tail. "Do you have time to come and shoot the breeze with us?" She inquires, a smile forming on the female's face as she returns back to her leisurely posture. ![]() |

Luka / Noctis Warrior / Location: Noctis territory A bit caught off guard by the question, Luka paused. The silver wolf licked his lips and stared at the thick coils of green moss under his claws. "Yeah, I do think he's a good leader. I know he's a little young, and excited, but so am I. He has a good heart, and he seems determined. I believe he can accomplish a lot," Luka responded, flicking one of his ears. The canine thwapped his clump of moss to the forest floor and hummed. "What about you? Do you think he's a good alpha?" __________________ Soul / Lumen Warrior / Location: Lumen territory Soul blinked his big eyes and hummed, standing and stretching his lithe form into a bow. "He would probably only come for you if you did some terrible thing to threaten the safety of the pack, but you didn't. He has some long and awful history with his brother, and its quite the sore spot for both of them. They need to work on repairing their relationship for the good of the pack," he rambled on for a bit, trying to find his train of thought until he felt his point had been made. The deer-like canine sighed and glanced at the healer, his gaze soft. "Its not your fault. You'll be ok here, I promise," he hummed. ![]() |

Maiah||Divum||Young Warrior||Location: Divum Camp||Mentions: (Indirectly) Peter, Sarge, Uda(directly) open Maiah was lost up in own thoughts, her lips pulled back ever so slightly, and ears flicked back as she walked. It was subtle in her mind, but enough to snap her back down to earth. Her ears whipped forwards and she was confused for a few seconds, what was that? Slightly alarmed her mind was able to reset. Oh, how silly of her, she recognized the voice, it was Uda. She stopped, turning her head towards Uda and the small group. She wouldn't deny that she felt odd with them, not because of finding them weird or of distrust, but rather out of the levels of respect she held for them. Fumbling among her words for a moment, she gained control of her tongue and spat out her words, a bit more hastily that she had intended "Oh, U-Yes I do. Plenty of time with Doratu out" holding back an urge to nip her own ears, she walked over and sat with the others. ![]() |

Primrose | Noctis healer | Location: Noctis forest | Mentions: Eerin, Ace (indirectly) "And more mouths to bite, now that we're not alone in the forest anymore," Rose was skeptical about the other packs being much larger than Noctis, why with all their young blood and whatnot, "Even a good leadership won't save us from being outnumbered." Maybe Rose was being a tad dramatic; they surely wouldn't be droven out in a single meeting if the other packs had any respect for their ancestor's wishes, but the she-wolf couldn't shake the feeling something was amiss. With a single pull, Rose stripped the tree she had been inspecting out of it's moss, unceremoniously dumping the batch amongst the vegetation heap. Levelling the beta with her gaze, her voice assumed it's usual monotone quality, "This should be enough for the time being, wouldn't want to be caught in a storm." ---- Bellarose | Pagnia Adol | Location: Pagnia camp | Mentions: Pa'ar (indirectly) With a loud yawn, Bella emerged from the den with a spring on her step, fur spiked beyond belief. She was probably late for whatever duty was in line for the day, but the prospect of sleeping in after countless weeks of walking sounded too appetizing to pass right now. Quickly bounding towards the middle of camp, the teen inspected the surroundings for any sign of life, figuring most wolves were already on the move. She managed to catch the tail end of a much larger wolf slipping away trough the trees, and judging by the dark coat, it was most likely their beta. "Well, one less geezer around," the teen muttered under her breath. Choosing instead to turn towards the prey-pile neatly arranged in a corner, she figured soothing her aching belly was in first order that day. There wasn't a lot to pick from, apart from a few rabbits and birds she didn't recognize, but food was food, and she could always go hunting later. Carefully selecting a decently sized rabbit, the teen set out to find a decent spot to feast in. ![]() |

Doratu | Divum | Alpha Male | Location: Divum River | Mentions: Sarge, Peter, Open Doratu loped into camp, a small smirk on his face as he thought about that aggressive alpha. "Guess who went to Pack Lumen to see what the others packs are like?" He huffed a little as he jogged into the stream, snatching a small fish in his jaws and swallowing it. He laid down next to Sarge and put his head down on his legs. ![]() |

Peter|Divum Commander|Divum Camp|Mentions Divum Pack Members, Open "Well it wasn't me, it wasn't Sarge, I don't think it was Maiah or Uda, so... I'm assuming it was you? O' mighty alpha what have you learned!" Peter dropped to the ground with a thud before rolling onto his back in the most dramatic way possible. "If my sources tell true, Lumen is the second largest pack here? But they are in a somewhat open area, so easy to pick them off... are we picking them off? Or are we making friends~?" His lips curled back at the word. Friends. ![]() |

Nova | Alpha female | Location: Pagnia camp | Mentions: Bellarose, iniovij Nova stirred from her spot in the shade, aching. The camp was empty but for a couple wolves, bellarose gnawing on a rabbit and Iniovij resting, back from his impromptu hunting trip. It was quiet, the warm sun shining through the foliage casting a haze over the camp. Iniovij saw her wake and padded over eagerly, tail lashing. "I caught a pigeon this morning," he said, settling next to her. "But I haven't seen that many bigger things. Only one deer, and it was a small one." Nova shook her head, woozy. "I haven't had the chance to go exploring," she said. "I feel worse and worse every day, but I don't think stark has seen much either. I hope they address it at the meeting. " She turned her eyes to the bright blue sky, wishing for nightfall. "Well I hope they confirm territorys," iniovij sighed. "I was along the border this morning and the scents were all muddled." Nova wondered how badly confused borders could end up. Very bad, she decided. Iniovij looked across the camp to bellarose. "What do you want accomplished at the meeting?" ![]() |
