You'd climbed the largest mountain you could find when you spotted the large masses in the sky. What were they? They were too big to be hot air balloons, and too quiet as well as not shaped correctly to be a plane or helicopter. Besides, motor vehicles don't work here. Now you stare at the masses. Are those.... floating islands?

A. Ooh- there's a hot air balloon over there! Try to figure out how it works?
B. How the heck are they floating?!
C. *sigh* Time for the grappling hook...

Shrugging, you continue on down. You're almost to the bottom- at least, you think you are- so might as well continue, right? Once you hit the bottom, you unhook your belt and make sure you have everything with you. Turning on your lantern, you head into the darkness.
Awhile later, your lantern flickers out. You shuffle through your pack, looking for the extra batteries you thought you put in there. But... they aren't there. Huffing in annoyance, you put the lantern in your backpack and stand there in the darkness. You don't remember what you saw before the light flickered out, but there were two paths, weren't there....?

A. Go left.
B. Screw it- call out for help.
C. Go right.

You stare up in awe. Magic? Are they actually motorized? Are a bunch of birds holding them up? Or maybe you drank too much last night- whatever it was, you need to find a way up there. Looking around, you see bright blue near the side of the mountain you were on. Going over there, you see that it's a... hot air balloon? Climbing down the face of the mountain, you make your way to the ledge the balloon was sitting on. You look it over- it looks like it is ready to go. After glancing around, you climb in, untie all the ropes but the longest, and let out more propane. In the air, you try to figure out the handles...

A. What does this cord do?
B. What would happen if I turn the valve on the tank?
C. I probably shouldn't touch this lever....

You decided on going right and... abruptly run into a wall. You'd forgotten to zip your backpack and your lantern falls out. Miraculously, the light turns back on. Maybe the bulb was just loose? As you bend to pick it up, you look to the left, where there was actually a path. I think... something is looking at you!

Tugging on the cord, you hear a whoosh then... the balloon begins to descend. Panicking, you let go and tie it back to the post. So... that's what that does. You're tempted to play with it, but stop when you see something fly beside you. For some reason, the colors say "flightless"....
