Yixing tried to smile back as he shifted his position a bit at the broodmother's words. "Y-Yeah," He said, looking more and more of an insecure dork as seconds passed. "She is." There was a certain fondness in his tone of voice as he gently stirred the cub with a careful paw and nudged him over to the lioness.
"Thank you," He stated, hastily bowing his head before shuffling out of the den in a mad dash.

"Come along now, little ones."
Tianki's presence in this shelter meant more cubs of her pride would have to separate from their mothers and families. It was a bitter and ugly thought, and she had to remind herself they would be better taken care of by other prides. She nudged the small band of cubs along with her tail, ushering them further inside the den. Tianki only looked up once one of the caretakers stood beside her.
"Greetings. I have four cubs to pass onto your care today," she felt a bittersweet twinge in her heart, "they are a wonderfully behaved group- shouldn't be any trouble to you at all."

Vikela recognized the lioness, relaxing a bit at the familiar sight. “We have plenty of space for them,” she said. “I’ll have one of the older cubs prepare some nests for them.” Turning to the cubs, she added, “Follow me, little ones.”

Yixing trotted into the den, a female cub following his trail. The handsome felis had more or less relaxed into the milky presence of the den, no longer as jittery as he was, though he was still shy and a bit jumpy at loud and unexpected noises.
"Food!" The young cub yelped, batting at his paws, and he gave an incredulous expression towards her.
"You already ate, Opal," He said, slowing a bit to stare at her wide, pleading eyes. "Just a few minutes ago."
"More." She mewed, and the king shifted his weight unsurely, glancing to the broodmothers around.
"Soon, you will," He promised sympathetically, kneading the ground. Oh, if this cub started screaming...
Her eyes began to water at his words, until they were glassy.
"Food!" She started to wail, stamping at the ground. "Foodfoodfoodfood!"
"O-Okay, okay, shush—" He smushed a paw against her mouth, face red with embarrassment. "You'll draw too much attention..."

A red male lion was walking towards the cave of the broodmothers and the cubs. Intimidating from afar, but as he got closer, the broodmothers could see his sad gaze while carrying a cub in his mouth while the other one was walking behind him, now playing with his tail. He dropped the cub that was in his mouth and said, "My name is Liondias" He bowed down to show respect to the broodmothers while saying, "I don't have space for these two little troublemakers anymore."
"Please can you take care of them and make sure they find a good forever home?" The two female cubs were now playing with each other in front of their father. Liondias bend down to their level and nuzzled both of his cubs since it might be the last time he gets to see them, while waiting for a response from one of the broodmothers.

Vikela grinned at the sight of the familiar visitor, bounding across the den to greet him. “Welcome back!” she said, purring. While she hadn’t known Yixing himself for very long, he reminded her so much of her old friends from his pride. She glanced at the wailing cub, trying not to laugh. “I see you’ve brought someone new,” she said. “We can take her in. We’ve got plenty of food for her in the back.”

After dealing with Opal, Vikela returned to speak with the second visitor, her playful attitude now replaced with her usual distrust of visitors. The two cubs this lion had with him though wouldn’t be a problem. “I can take them,” she said with a respectful nod. “I’m sure they’ll find homes quickly.”

"Thank you" Liondias replied. "If you need anything please don't hesitate to reach out to me, I love cubs very much" The male lion turned around to leave, but not before looking at his two cubs once more with a sadden gaze. He turned around and started to head out of the cave, but not before calling out to the broodmother over his shoulder "You do not need to be alert around me I assure you, once again if you need anything please reach out to me." The male lion then walked to the horizon, leaving two cubs crying out for their father. While he shed a tear of his own on his right eye.

"Oh, thank you," Yixing let out a relieved breath, smiling at the fiery lioness. Ushering the whining cub forward, he dipped his head humbly. "Take care."

Mystery slowly walked inside the adoption center. At the entrance they put down the two female cubs that sat on their back. The cubs yawned sleepily, they were clearly worn out from the traveling. The young ones sheepishly huddled to Mystery, looking at the adult questioningly. The leader hesitated for a moment and then smiled at the cubs encouragingly, but in reality they weren't sure if it was the cubs who needed encouragement or them. The cubs looked at the leader, waiting for them to say something. Mystery sighed. 'Alright, kiddos, let's go!' Each step felt heavier and heavier as they herded the cubs towards one of the broodmother. Once the trio was in front of the lioness, Mystery kept silent for a moment and then nodded politely. "Hello! The recent seasons were kind to us and blessed us with many healthy litters and as you can see, we've got our paws full' They paused for a moment and nodded towards the cubs. "This is Blossom and this is Cricket. Say hello girls!" The two cubs shyly looked at the broodmother. "Hello!" After that Mystery continued. "As I said, we have many cubs at home and we don't have enough resources to take care of them all. So we decided that we'll bring these two here, as they are mature and independent enough to be adopted" The leader looked at the broodmother waiting for an answer...

A large lion took a slow, and almost reluctant, step into the cave with small smile, though it didn't take much to know that this was only a facade. A bittersweet sorrow lingered behind the male's eyes, mixed with some caution. Three rather young cubs tumbled after the lion, mewing excitedly, tackling each other and playing with their father's tail.

Looking around at the cave, the heavily-built male swished his tail lightly, both out of habit and to give his cubs something to do before he slowly, and reluctantly, approached one of the broodmothers.
Upon closer inspection, if one paid enough attention, they'd notice that the lion's eyes were almost.. glowing? A strange, icy blue hue. And around his forelegs, paws and his rear were slightly darker than the rest of his body were, with different, strange markings lining the lion's legs and face.
"..Hello," the male spoke, his voice clear and respectful, though a tinge of melancholy laced his words, "I have.. come to bring you and your pridemates cubs. I cannot keep these three, as much as I wish to.." The lion glanced down at his offspring with a longing expression, before shaking his starry mane and turning back to face the lioness.
His next words were polite, albeit now the caution the male felt was creeping into his words, too.
"..I have heard of your charity of caring for other prides' young, as well as adopting them out. I.. admit that I am unsure of how this works, or if I need to do anything.. but I couldn't bear to bring them to the Tree."
The lion lowered his head and closed his eyes, a quiet 'huff' escaping him before he regained what composure he had lost, looking back at the lioness again.
"I apologize for my rudeness; my name is Vahalunn, king of the Kuneiruan Pride. The three behind me.. do not have names, I'm afraid," the king admitted quietly, "their mother.. did not wish to name them when they were born. Though they're good cubs, be mindful that the light one," he gestured toward one of the female cubs who was now tackling her brother, "does not.. play nice much of the time, so she may need some extra work, should you and your pride decide to take them in."
Vahalunn then looked at the broodmother he was speaking with, his eyes glazing over somewhat as he gave a forced, bittersweet smile. Whether it was to be polite or to ease the cubs or himself, that was to be determined.
"I would be forever grateful if you took these cubs in," the king added quietly, his gaze shifting momentarily from the lioness and back to his cubs as he indirectly asked the question he came here to inquire.

The king gave a small nod to the lioness, turning to nudge his trio of cubs over to her. "Be good, okay?" Vahalunn rumbled in what could have been his attempt at giving a purr as he watched his cubs nervously approach the broodmother. Then he raised his head, giving another nod to the lioness - though this one was more of a gesture of gratitude than anything else - before he turned, quickly walking out of the cave. He gave no glances behind him as he left the cave and wandered off into the vast outer world that surrounded it, though it took much self-restraint to keep himself from doing so.

King Apolleon sadly gazed at the lionesses. "I cannot provide for them, we haven't enough room. Please let them find a home where they are loved." He spoke, as he did five cubs poked their heads around the corner of the cave.
