Personality: Which one? She has a severe case of multiple personality disorder. Each day, she thinks she's someone new, but there are four main personalities: Kate, Katie, Kathryn, and Ryn.
Katie- Katie is a very upbeat person. She loves sweets, gifts, and hugs, and she's always looking to chat with someone.
Kate- Kate is quite the opposite if Katie. She's very mellow and is obsessed with reading. The other personalities know the information she's read up on, but can't seem to remember when they read it.
Kathryn- Kathryn is snarky and quick witted. She always comes right back with a response, but when she's nervous she turns all pink and fumbles for words.
Ryn- Ryn seems to be the only personality vaguely aware of her other personalities. Ryn has an obsession with it, actually. She knows that she knew these "other people" at one point, but she can't remember what they looked like or sounded like. She references them like old friends, and often hides herself away to try and figure out where these "people" went. No one knows, due to her change of appearance, that Ryn is the same person as the rest. They think she's a town mad-woman.

Katie- Katie looks like her little sister. She is blonde with curly hair and blue eyes. She's short, and has rosy cheeks.
Kate- Kate is modeled after her mother. She is tall and thin. She is pale with black hair, but shares the same blue eyes as Katie.
Kathryn- Kathryn looks like Kathryn's true form. When Kathryn is Kathryn, she doesn't transform. Because of this, this is the only personality with knowledge of her power. She has Hazel eyes and long, black hair, usually tied up. She is tall and thin, just like Kate, but shares the same rosy cheeks as Katie. She has freckles dotting her face and arms.
Ryn- Ryn is modeled after Kathryn's best friend, lost when she tried to save Kathryn from drowning. Ryn has auburn hair and freckles. She is quite tall and well shaped. She would look beautiful had she not let herself stay cooped up most days, her self-care deteriorating.

Kathryn's mother, an angel named Eleanor, fell in love with a human man named August. After conceiving Kathryn, Eleanor told August she would have to leave for the safety of both. She couldn't endanger them by being a target. She gave birth to Kathryn in Limbo, staying there with her for 4 years. During the third, August had another child named Ellie, resembling that of Eleanor, the woman he'd loved. Then, she returned, bringing Kathryn with and saying she couldn't be away from August any longer, and he had a right to meet his child. She had chosen to become a fallen angel rather than be confined to the heavens, and risked breaking Limbo's rules. The family thrived for years. Eleanor keeping to herself, and sheltering Kathryn so she wouldnt endanger her. When Kathryn was 15, Ellie 12, a terrible accident caused their house to burn down, killing all but Kathryn. Kathryn had a concussion, awaking to a dead family and a burnt home. She ran, and kept running, until she passed out. When she awoke, she was in Limbo. She had no idea how she'd gotten there, and didn't even remember her family dying. Since then, she has been living with MPD, only knowing that her family was gone. Each morning, just before awaking, she instinctually transforms into her personality, unknowingly modeled after her family members.
As for Ryn's model-- Kathryn's childhood best friend-- her name was Charlotte, but she went by Charlie. Neither Kathryn nor Charlie really knew if they were friends... or something more. When Kathryn was 14, she went out to meet Charlie (Kathryn was very sheltered, and therefore had to sneak to meet her). This particular time, Kathryn had stopped to grab flowers. She wanted to finally face her feelings and talk to Charlie about it. On her way, she slipped, and fell into the river. Charlie wondered what was taking so long, and decided to walk along her usual route to find her. Luckily, since Kathryn had stopped for flowers, Charlie wasn't too late to see her thrashing about in the river. Charlie wasted no time, and jumped in. She swam her to the riverbank, draining a lot of her energy in doing so. She was swept back into the river, where she got dunk under and ledged beneath an outcropping of earth. She couldn't get out, and drowned.
